Unit 5: My School Day
My School Day
Hello! My name is Lucy. I am a third-grade student. Today, I am
going to share with you my school day.
Every morning, I wake up early to get ready for school. I brush my
teeth, wash my face, and put on my uniform. Then, I have a
delicious breakfast with my family. After that, I take my backpack
and walk to school with my friends.
When I arrive at school, I see my teacher, Miss Brown, and all my
classmates in the classroom. We greet each other and start our
morning routine. We stand up, say the Pledge of Allegiance, and
sing the national anthem. This helps us show respect and love for
our country.
The first lesson of the day is English. I love English because it is
fun to learn new words and practice speaking. Miss Brown plays
some English songs, and we sing along. We also do different
activities to improve our reading and writing skills. Sometimes, we
even have conversations in English with our classmates. It is
exciting!
Next, we have Math class. Math is a bit challenging, but I enjoy
solving problems and learning new concepts. Miss Brown uses
different tools like coins, blocks, and abacus to make learning
Math more interesting. We work together in groups and help each other if someone is struggling. Math becomes easier and more fun
when we work as a team.
After Math, we have a short break. We go to the playground and
play games with our friends. Some of us play football, while others
prefer jump rope or tag. It is a great way to relax and have some
fun before the next lesson.
After the break, we have Science. Science is all about discovering
and exploring the world around us. We do experiments, observe
animals, and learn about plants. Miss Brown shows us different
objects and asks us to guess what they are. It is like being a little
scientist!
The last lesson of the day is Art. I love Art because I can express
my creativity through drawing, painting, and making crafts. We
learn about different artists and their styles, and try to create our
own masterpieces. We use colors, shapes, and textures to make our
artworks unique. Sometimes, we even have art exhibitions and
display our work for other students and parents to see.
Finally, the bell rings, and it is time to go home. We say goodbye
to Miss Brown and thank her for the exciting lessons. I walk back
home with my friends, talking and laughing along the way.
I really enjoy my school day. I learn new things, have fun with my
friends, and feel proud of my achievements. School is a wonderful
place where I can grow and explore. I can't wait for the next day!
