介绍厦门著名景点鼓浪屿的英语作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Awesome Trip to Gulangyu Island!Last summer, my family and I went on a super cool trip to Gulangyu Island near Xiamen city. It was the best vacation ever! Let me tell you all about this amazing place.Gulangyu is a tiny island located just a quick ferry ride away from downtown Xiamen. As soon as we got off the boat, I could tell this wasn't like other islands I've visited before. There were no cars allowed, only little streets perfect for walking and bike riding. Everywhere I looked there were pretty old buildings with courtyards and gardens. It felt like being transported back in time! Our hotel was right on the beach, with a beautiful view of the ocean. At night we could open our windows and hear the relaxing sounds of the waves splashing on the shore. The first night we were there, my little brother and I played on the sandy beach until it got dark. We found so many neat seashells andchased the little crabs that were scurrying around. Our parents had to pry us away when it was time for bed!The next morning bright and early, we headed out to explore the island. Gulangyu is famous for having tons of cool historic sites, mansions, churches, and parks to check out. One of my favorite spots was Shuzhuang Garden, which used to be the home of a rich person from the Qing Dynasty era. The garden had gorgeous rock formations, ponds with koi fish, and all kinds of interesting bonsai trees and flowers. I felt like a prince or princess wandering around the grounds!Another highlight was climbing up to the top of Sunlight Rock, the highest point on the island. The view from up there was breathtaking – you could see the entire island surrounded by the sparkling blue ocean. Our tour guide told us that a long time ago, huge boulders rolled down from the mountains and formed those rocks. Pretty crazy!Gulangyu has a very unique culture that comes from blending Chinese and foreign influences from the days when it was an international trading port. You can see this in the architecture, like the exotic looking villas and churches that were built back then. We visited the Gulangyu Piano Museum whichhad a giant collection of antique pianos – some were even decorated with carved dragons and phoenix birds. So awesome. My favorite part though was just wandering around the little alleyways and neighborhoods. The streets had such a cool, vintage vibe with their stone pathways and old banyan trees. Lots of the houses and shops had bright colors and beautiful carvingslike dragons and phoenixes on their doors and window frames. There were musicians playing traditional instruments, artists working on paintings, and people playing games like chess and poker out in the courtyards. It was like a living museum!Of course, we couldn't leave without trying Gulangyu's most famous food: tiny but delicious xiaolongbao soup dumplings! The dumplings were so good and bursting with savory soup inside. We probably ate our weight in them during our visit. Yum!On our last day, we rented a beach shanty and spent the whole afternoon swimming, building sandcastles, and having a picnic by the ocean. The water was warm and perfect for playing in the waves. That night for dinner, we ate hot seafood straight from the ocean while watching an awesome sunset. What a perfect way to end our Gulangyu adventure!I have so many amazing memories from our trip to Gulangyu Island. The fresh ocean air, the unique culture and food, the relaxing atmosphere...it was like being in a real-life fairy tale. I'm already begging my parents to take us back again next year. If you ever get the chance to visit, you have to go! Just be prepared to never want to leave this incredible place.篇2Gulangyu Island: A Magical Paradise Just Across the Sea!Hi friends! My name is Amy and I'm going to tell you all about one of the coolest places I've ever visited - Gulangyu Island! It's this tiny little island right across from the big city of Xiamen in China. At first, you might think "An island? That doesn't sound so fun!" But wait until you hear what makes Gulangyu so incredibly awesome! To get there, you have to take a ferryboat across the water. I was sooo excited bobbing up and down on the waves, watching the island get closer and closer. When we finally made it to the dock, it was like stepping into a real-life storybook!Gulangyu is covered in the most adorable houses and buildings you've ever seen. They're all different Colors like pink, yellow, blue, and green. Some look like they came straight out ofa fairytale with pointy roofs and cute little shutters on the windows. Others are elegant mansions that make you feel like a prince or princess. The streets are made of these rounded stone pathways that look almost as old as dinosaurs! But you know what the absolute best part is? There are zero cars allowed on the whole island! That's right, no smelly exhaust or noisy traffic at all. Instead, everyone gets around on this really cool trackless train that looks like a trolley from olden times. Or you can rent a bike and pedal along the paths while listening to the chirping birds. It feels like you've gone back about a hundred years to when everything was simple and peaceful.Speaking of peaceful, Gulangyu has the chillest vibe ever. Laid-back music seems to flow out of every doorway and there are outdoor restaurants serving yummy dishes everywhere you look. One afternoon, I had a mango popsicle sitting by the water and just watched the boats lazily drift by. Another day, I visited Shuzhuang Garden which dates back to 1913! It has beautiful ponds with koi fish and intricate little bridges over the streams. While I was there, a group of ladies were doing tai chi and looking very zen.As great as all the sights and snacks are, my absolute favorite thing was all the cool colonial architecture left over from whenGulangyu was occupied by foreigners in the early 1900s. You can find over a dozen different consulates and mansions built in styles from England, Japan, Italy, and more! The Piano Museum has an incredible collection of rare pianos and even gives concerts. Kiddies like me loved Gouqi Island, which is a smaller island right beside Gulangyu with underground tunnels and ruins to explore. So much history everywhere you turn! But Gulangyu isn't just about the past - it celebrates the present too! Every year there are huge music festivals and art shows that turn the whole island into a big party. During Gulangyu Night, the streets come alive with night markets, dancing, and fireworks. And yet, no matter how crowded it gets, the island always feels relaxing and safe. I could wander around for hours without my parents worrrying.I have to admit, when my family first told me we were spending our vacation on a little island, I wasn't that thrilled. But from the second I stepped foot on Gulangyu, I was hooked! Between the adorable houses, amazing street food, cool historical sites, and laid-back vibe, it's impossible not to fall in love with this place. Gulangyu isn't just an island, it's a magical paradise floating just across the sea. I'm already begging my parents to take me back! What did you think, friends? Are you dazzled by Gulangyu Island now too? If you ever get a chance to visit, you absolutely have to go! Just be prepared to never want to leave. I'm pretty sure part of my heart and soul will forever remain on that blissful, colorful, time-warped island. Gulangyu, you're one-of-a-kind!篇3My Favorite Place - Gulangyu IslandHi friends! Today I want to tell you about my favorite place in my hometown Xiamen. It's a beautiful little island called Gulangyu. Gulangyu is like a little paradise with so many amazing things to see and do. Let me take you on a journey to this wonderful island! To get to Gulangyu, we need to take a ferry from Xiamen Island. The ferry ride is super fun! As we approach the island, we can already see the colorful old buildings and hear the sounds of seagulls flying overhead. Gulangyu has no cars or buses, so as soon as we step off the ferry, we are greeted by the peaceful quiet streets. One of the first things I love about Gulangyu is all the cute little alleys and lanes. They are made of small stone paths winding between the old houses. It's like being in a maze, but areally pretty one! The houses are built in different styles - some look like they came from Europe, while others have a more Chinese look. The colors are so bright and cheerful, with lots of yellows, pinks, blues and greens. My favorite are the houses covered in shells! As we wander through the alleys, we'll come across little plazas and gardens tucked away. Some have beautiful stone carvings or statues. Others have benches where we can sit and rest in the shade of the big old trees. Everything is so quiet and calm, which is very different from the busy city outside. My mom says that Gulangyu used to be home to lots of rich people who built these amazing old mansions. Some of them have been turned into museums where we can see how they lived long ago. The furniture and decorations are so fancy! I especially love peeking into the old kitchens to see what they used to cook with. One mansion that's really cool is the Koxinga Sunfo Temple. It honors a famous soldier who kicked out the Dutch and took over Xiamen a long time ago. The temple has bright red walls and golden decorations everywhere. It looks fit for an emperor! We can light incense and make wishes here.Another great thing about Gulangyu are all the sculptures and statues scattered around. Some of them look like people or animals, while others are really abstract and bizarre! There are so many different artists represented. My favorite is probably the huge colorful frog sitting in the middle of a plaza. He always makes me smile!Of course, no trip to Gulangyu would be complete without walking along the shoreline. The entire island is surrounded by a wide walking path right next to the sea. I love the sound of the waves lapping against the rocks and the fresh ocean breeze. We can look for little crabs scuttling amongst the stones or watch the boats sailing by.One of the most famous attractions on Gulangyu is Sunlight Rock. It's this big beach rock formation that looks like it's glowing from the inside when the sunlight hits it just right. Apparently it's over 400 million years old! We can climb up and take awesome pictures on top of this natural wonder. After walking around and exploring all day, I always look forward to grabbing a snack or treat. Gulangyu has some of the most delicious street foods! My favorites are the soft and chewy tormali meatballs, the sweet peanut brittle, and the refreshing mango ice cream. I can never get enough! But maybe the most fun part of Gulangyu is all the little shops and stores. The whole island is like one big outdoor mall selling all kinds of treasures. We can find beautiful handmade lace, intricate wood carvings, vibrant hand-painted fans, cute little dolls in traditional costumes, and so much more. My room is filled with souvenirs from Gulangyu!By the time evening rolls around, I'm always a little sad to leave this magical island behind. But I know I'll be back again soon to make more wonderful memories. Gulangyu is such a special place - it's like stepping back in time to a slower, simpler era. With its winding lanes, grand old homes, gorgeous scenery, and lively culture, it's no wonder it's called the Island of Pianos!I feel so lucky to have this little paradise right in my hometown. If you ever visit Xiamen, you have to make sure to take a trip over to Gulangyu. Just grab some snacks, put on your walking shoes, and get ready to be transported to another world. This tiny island may be small, but it's packed with more fun and beauty than you could ever imagine!篇4My Awesome Trip to Gulangyu IslandWow, let me tell you all about my super awesome trip to Gulangyu Island! It's this long, windy path that goes through the whole island. On both sides were rows of these awesome old school houses, churches, consulates and mansions built in all kinds of different styles. Some looked European, some looked Chinese, it was such a mix! My favorite was this bright yellow house with an awesome green roof and cool dragon statues out front. When Lin Erjia grew up, because he missed his home in Chinese Taiwan, he imitatedBanqiao villa and built Shuzhuang garden. Now we are standing at the entrance of the garden. The garden is composedof two parts: Canghai garden and Bushan garden. The five sceneries of Canghaigarden are meishou hall, Renqiu Pavilion, Zhenli Pavilion, 44qiao Pavilion andZhaoliang Pavilion; the five sceneries of Bushan garden are Enshimountainhouse, twelve caves, yiaiwulu, tingchao tower and Xiaolan Pavilion. Hiding thesea is to hide the sea into the garden, which implies that the mountains andrivers should be taken into the embrace of the motherland and no longer beslaughtered by others; mending the mountains is to make up for the lack ofnatural scenery by artificial construction, which implies that the mountains andrivers are broken and need to be mended. Here, the patriotic feeling of themaster of the garden is apparent. We will be on the scene to appreciate themystery later.Shuzhuang garden has three remarkable characteristics, which can besummarized as "hiding, borrowing and skillful". Please look in front of us. Ahigh wall blocks our sight and way. There are only some bonsai plants in frontof us. When you walk out of the circular arch, you can have a look at it. Ourvision will be widened. The vast expanse of blue waves has been waiting in frontof us. The long blue waves suddenly brighten up, which makes us feel relaxed andhappy. This is the beauty of "hiding" in the garden. It turns out that this wallis just a barrier. If you see the sea at the door, you will lose your charm andlook plain. Now, please look at the building on our left - meishou hall, alsoknown as the "Ying second sound" pavilion. Its door is opposite the beach. Itused to be the place where the owner of the garden tasted tea, wrote poems andpainted. Now it has been turned into a shopping mall and a restaurant. There isa pool. There is a gate on the right side of the pool connected with the sea, which leads the sea water into the garden to form the outer pool by the bridge. Then it leads to the inner pool through the left hole. The hole is engraved with"water stop" two times, and the sea water is no longer used to raise waves. Inthis way, the Tibetan sea garden consists of three scenic spots: the sea, theouter pool andthe inner pool. From large to small, from outside to inside, itnaturally hides the sea in the garden. Now look to the right. This long bridge is called 44 bridge, but why 44bridge? You can see that it extends from the pavilion to the sea. The wholebridge is about 100 meters long, lying on the sea like a dragon. The designercan take the scenery according to the situation because of the sea. The smallgarden has been expanded several times. This is the embodiment of the"cleverness" of the garden.Well, please follow me. In front of us is a huge natural stone. On the topof it is engraved "sea and sky" written by Zhang ruitu, a calligrapher of MingDynasty. On the back are two pieces of "pillow flow" inscribed by Lin Erjia, theowner of the garden. Now we are walking on the 44th bridge, the main tourist line of the park.Have you guessed the origin of the 44th bridge? In fact, it is very simple, because the owner of the park was 44 years old when the bridge was built. Ladiesand gentlemen, this half moon shaped Pavilion is the moon crossing Pavilion. Thebright moon is in the sky. It's the best place to visit. If you are lucky enoughto visit Xiamen on the occasion of the Mid Autumn Festival, you may as well comehere to watch the moon. This is Renqiu Pavilion. It was built in the autumn of renxu of the lunarcalendar in 1922. Its uniqueness lies in that half of it is built on land andthe other half is supported in the water. The pavilion is built on the platform, the terrace is built around the pool, and the curved bridge is connected withit. Each of its two southeast walls has a circular arch. Sitting in thepolitical Pavilion, you can see the scenery on both sides at the same time.Looking from the windowsill, the 44 bridge is winding, with Zhenli Pavilion,Qianbo Pavilion and Duyue Pavilion. Some of them arediamond shaped, others arefan-shaped, with different shapes and unique charm.Members of the group, let's go on! This folding fan type Pavilion islocated at the end of the original garden. It is named after the gusts of coolwind. Around the pavilion, we arrive at the Bushan garden. In front of it, theZhuWa villa is Tingtao Pavilion, where we can see the sky wind and sea waves. Now tingtaoxuan has been transformed into a piano museum. It has 73 pianosprovided by Hu Youyi, a Chinese living in Australia. Hu Youyi was born onGulangyu Island. He has lived in the melodious sound of piano since he was achild, and has formed a source of puzzlement with piano. In Australia, he boughtthe clavichord at great expense. In 1999, with sincere patriotism and love forhis hometown, he made great efforts to transport these pianos back to hishometown and opened a piano museum, which was officially opened to tourists onJanuary 8, __. After two world wars, these pianos have been sent to Hu Youyi'shometown intact. They have become the valuable cultural heritage of Xiamenpeople and integrated into the profound cultural connotation of Gulangyu Island, the "island of pianos". As you can see, besides piano, there are manycandlesticks here. In fact, these candlesticks are also brought by Mr. Hu Youyifrom Australia. There are more than 50 exquisite candlesticks in total. Most ofthese candlesticks were produced in Europe a hundred years ago, and they are aperfect match with these ancient pianos. Not long ago, Mr. Hu Youyi transportedanother 40 pianos from Australia, which were also opened to tourists not longago. Now we can see that the red building in the distance is the stone mountainhouse, which used to be the place for the master of the garden to study, but nowKaifa is the guest house. The rockery in front of us is the"Twelve caves". Itis made of all kinds of sand, shale and volcanic rocks. It is a series ofartificial rockery caves, commonly known as "monkey cave". There are 12 caves init. They are arranged on the stone wall by 12 branches (Zi, Chou, Yin, Mao,Chen, Si, Wu, Wei, Shen, you, Xu, Hai). The movements are interconnected, justlike a labyrinth, also known as "enchanted cave" ”It is a good place forchildren to play. Because of the time, we won't turn. Please follow me down. Thebronze figure on the right is the whole body statue of the owner of the garden,Mr. Lin Erjia. This was originally a private garden. After Mr. Lin died, hisdescendants dedicated it to the country, and we were lucky to see it.Well, we have made a circle. You must have appreciated the unique style ofShuzhuang garden. It is because of her characteristics of "hiding", "borrowing"and "skillfulness" that we can create infinite space in this limited area. Thewhole garden is static in movement and dynamic in stillness. It iscomplementary, harmonious and dialectical. Lin Erjia is also quite satisfiedwith this, which can be seen from the couplet he wrote on the pavilion: "the seaand the mountains are beautiful, and the flowers and bamboos are pleasant.". Thebeautiful Shuzhuang garden makes people taste endless and forget to return!英语鼓浪屿导游词篇2Today, we are going to visit Gulangyu, the best scenic spot in Xiamen. Itis surrounded by the sea, with beautiful scenery and fresh air. Therefore, ithas the reputation of "sea garden". In 1997, it ranked first in the "ten best"landscape evaluation of Fujian Province. At the same time, it is also one of the35 famous scenic spots in China. Even President Nixon of the United Statespraised Gulangyu when he visited here (1972) It is called "Venice of the East"and "Hawaii of China", and was rated as the highest level ofnational touristattractions - 4A in __.Xiamen Gulangyu is surrounded by the sea, and its area is not large (pleaseguess how large). It is smaller than Morocco, the smallest country in the world, with an area of only 1.78 square kilometers and a population of about 18000people. More than half of the people have overseas relations, and generally livein countries and regions with 14 people. Although it is small, it is veryfamous. It has a lot of tourists and receives 30000-80000 people on averageevery day, Such a small place, can have this degree, visible it is notgeneralXiamen Gulangyu was not called Xiamen Gulangyu before Ming Dynasty, Later, because there was a reef in the southwest of it, a karst cave was formed by theimpact and erosion of the sea water for many years. When the tide was high, thewaves would hit the reef and make a sound like a drum. Therefore, the rock wascalled "drum rock", hence the name of Gulangyu Island in Xiamen. (the origin ofGulangyu Island in Xiamen)It's just a river away from Xiamen Island, and it's surrounded by the seaon all sides. Many people think it's very inconvenient to cross the sea. Infact, except before the founding of the people's Republic of China, it's veryconvenient now, except for a few people who take speedboats and cruise ships. It's a round-trip ferry that operates 24 hours a day. There is a flight every 15minutes on the 500 meter wide Xiamen Strait. The system of buying tickets on theway and checking tickets on the return is implemented. The transition cost is 8yuan per person. The flight takes about 5 minutes. If you want to enjoy a shortvoyage, you can go to the elegant seat on the second floor. When it comes toelegant seats, whether standing or sitting, you have to take care of yourself 1yuan / person.Although Gulangyu Island in Xiamen is not big enough, there is a sayingthat it can not be more appropriate to describe it as "although sparrow issmall, it has all five internal organs", such as kindergarten to middle school(3 kindergartens, 3 primary schools, 2 middle schools, 3382 students), bank, hospital, food market, concert hall, etc. Therefore, the residents of the islandwill not be inconvenient because it is surrounded by the sea and its area issmall, on the contrary, it is small and exquisite, so if there is nothing It'simportant for the residents to spend five to six years on the island.Because of the fresh air, good greening and good ecological environment, itis also a protected area for marine rare species (amphioxus and white dolphin). It is also the best green area in Xiamen. There are more than 4000 kinds ofplants, more than 80 kinds of plants, more than 80 families and genera on theisland. The green tree coverage rate reaches 40%, and the per capita area is 5.1square meters, so the air is fresh.英语鼓浪屿导游词篇3Dear tourists, we are about to arrive at the beautiful Gulangyu Island. Please take your camera and other things, and then follow me to the underwaterworld of Gulangyu Island.Look, this is a jellyfish. Look, there are several "whiskers" at the bottomof these jellyfish. These "whiskers" are transparent. Its body is very soft. When it flows up and down, its body will deform.OK, we're going into the undersea tunnel now. This undersea tunnel is amoving "road", with toughened glass on the top and on both sides. Outside theglass are sharks and various ferocious carnivorous fishes. Please watchcarefully. Finally out of the tunnel, everyone look, Penguin! Its body is white, shortand fat, wings on both sides, very lovely! Now, let's move on. Here is a precious white whale fossil, which is morethan 5 meters long and more than 1 meter high. There are also skeletons andfossils of many unknown fish.If you haven't been to Gulangyu, you can't be regarded as having been toXiamen. Dear tourists, this tour is over. Please pack up your things. I'll seeyou on the bus in three minutes!英语鼓浪屿导游词篇4Ladies and gentlemenHello everyone! Today we are going to visit Gulangyu, the "sea garden".Now our car is on Zhongshan Road. Zhongshan road is the most prosperouscommercial street in Xiamen at present. It was built in 1920s and 1930s. It isalso an old street. The buildings beside the street are of arcade style (thelower part of the building is made into a colonnade sidewalk, so that part ofthe floor is built on the sidewalk to avoid rain, shade and pass, so it iscalled arcade). This is a major feature of Xiamen. Many cities in southern Chinaand Southeast Asian countries have this kind of tower. This is mainly due to thefact that Xiamen is located in the subtropical zone. Sometimes the sun shinesstrongly and the weather is rainy. Pedestrians can protect themselves from thesun and rain under the arcade, walk freely and shop at will. Zhongshan road isnot only the main commercial street in Xiamen, but also the civilized street inXiamen. There are many kinds of goods, including domestic goods and foreigngoods.Members, the ferry time is about six minutes. Now I'd like to give you abrief introduction to Gulangyu. Look, the island opposite is Gulangyu Island. This river is called Lujiang, also called XiaGu Strait. It is 600 meters wide.Gulangyu covers an area of 1.78 square kilometers and has a population of 19000.In songand Yuan Dynasties, it was called "yuanshazhou", and in Ming Dynasty, itwas called Gulangyu. Because there is a big rock on the southwest coast of theisland, which has been washed out of a big hole by the waves for many years.Every time the tide rises, the waves beat the cave and make a sound like a drum,so people call it "gulangshi", and the island is also called Gulangyu. Atpresent, it is a national key scenic spot and the first of the "ten best" scenicspots in Fujian.Members, here we are. This wharf was built in 1976. The former wharf wasvery small. It was built in 1938. This used to be the place where Western powerssold Chinese laborers to go abroad and take a boat. You've seen the movie"prisoners of the sea". The "prisoners of the sea" set out by boat from a dock.In order to solve the problem of crowded boat, the "Piano dock" was built.Because Gulangyu is "the island of music", if you want to make the touriststouch the atmosphere of music as soon as you jump on Gulangyu, let's see if it'sa bit like an open grand piano!Members of the group, except for a small number of sightseeing batterycars, there are no other vehicles in chilangyu. Walking on the island is veryinteresting. Now let's walk and enjoy the European architectural style ofGulangyu! This is the British Consulate. It was built in 1844 and 1870 and has ahistory of more than 150 years. In 1840, Britain launched the Opium War, and itsexpeditionary army went to Xiamen to fight with Xiamen garrison. As a result, the British army was defeated and retreated. In August 1841, more than 3500British warships invaded Xiamen again. After fierce fighting, Xiamen andGulangyu fell, and Xiamen was occupied for 10 days. When the British retreated, three warships and 500 troops wereleft to occupy Gulangyu for five years. TheSino British Treaty of Nanjing allows the British to "live temporarily" onGulangyu. In 1843, Britain first set up a consulate on Gulangyu Island. Thefirst consul was the captain of the navy who attacked Xiamen. In 1844, thesecond consul built the building. However, although the consul lived here, heforcibly occupied the office of "xingquanshui coastal defense road" in Xiamenfor 20 years. This is a new office building built in 1870, with floor to floordoors and windows. It looks like England. The interior decoration is quiteluxurious, but there are six cells. A lion and dog tomb in front of thebuilding, which was specially built after the death of the consul's dog, wassmashed in 1957. Beside the tomb, there is a steel flagpole, which has beenabandoned.Sunlight rockLadies and gentlemenThis is the newly built gate of riguangyan temple. Let's take a look at thethree stone carvings on the huge stone in front of us. It seems that they werewritten by one person, but in fact they were written by three people. "GulangDongtian" was written by Ding Yizhong, Quanzhou T ongzhi in the Wanli period ofthe Ming Dynasty (1573), which has been more than 400 years. It is the earliestinscription on riguangyan; "Lujiang No.1" was written by Lin Yu, a Taoist Jinshiin the Qing Dynasty, which has been more than 100 years; "Tianfeng Haitao" waswritten by Xu Shiying, a visiting envoy of Fujian Province in 1915. On such ahigh stone, it's very imposing.Members, riguangyan temple, formerly known as Lianhua nunnery, is one ofthe four famous nunneries in Xiamen. It is actually a stone cave with a stonetop, so it is also called "yipianwa". It was built in the Zhengde period of MingDynastyand rebuilt in the 14th year of Wanli (1586). Because every morning, thesun rises from behind the five old peaks in Xiamen, and Lianhua nunnery is thefirst to bathe in the sun, so it is named "sunlight Temple". It is also saidthat when Gu Chenggong came to Huangyan (another name for riguangyan), he sawthat the scenery here was far better than that of Rizhao mountain in Japan, sohe took the word "Huang" apart and called it riguangyan. During the T ongzhiperiod of the Qing Dynasty, Yuanming exhibition was built to worship Maitreya. The main hall was built in 1917. After liberation, Yuanming hall was changedinto a Buddhist hall. After the reform and opening up, with the implementationof religious policy, the temple received the support of the government, receiveddonations from ten good faith parties at home and abroad, built large-scaleconstruction, renovated the main hall, built new mountain gate, bell and DrumTower, tourism platform, Dharma hall, monk's house, canteen and dining hall, andthe temple took on a new look. Sunlight temple is an exquisite and pockettemple, which is the only one in the country. Due to the superior environment, there were many eminent monks in the past dynasties. In 1936, the famous Hongyimage once closed here for eight months.Sunshine mountain, also known as Longtou mountain, faces Hutou mountain inXiamen across the sea. One dragon and one tiger guard Xiamen port, which iscalled "dragon and tiger guard the river". The original Pavilion here, namedXuting, has long been destroyed. Shi Guoqiu, a scholar in Chinese Taiwan, wrote a storyabout Xuting Pavilion, which describes that "the sun Guangyan is surrounded bymountains and sea, the first Tianjin in the southeast of the polar eye, thewater meets the sky, and the flood bathes in the sun, all of which are Fancha'swonders". Thehuge stones in Dengdao stand between each other, and the walls arevery strict, which means "nine summers produce cold". The coolness naturallycomes from "Lujiang Dragon Cave".YuyuanLadies and gentlemenNow we come to Yuyuan. Yuxuan is the memorial garden of Dr. Lin Qiaozhi.Lin Qiaozhi, born in Gulangyu in 1901, graduated from Peking Union MedicalCollege in 1929. Because of his outstanding achievements, he was left to work inPeking Union Medical College. He died in Beijing on April 22, 1983 at the age of83.Members of the group, here is a demonstration of Dr. Lin's ordinary andgreat life. These objects were used by her during her lifetime. These photos arethe records of her study, work, life and social activities. These are her works, papers and various certificates. From these objects, photos and materials, wecan see Dr. Lin's extremely serious and responsible attitude towards his workand his sincere love for his comrades, especially his babies and mothers. Allthese are worth learning from later generations.Members of the group, the tour of Gulangyu is over. If you are stillinterested, you can squeeze in time to take a walk on Huandao Road to enjoy thecharm of the sea and the style of European architecture. You can also go deepinto the alleys and listen to the piano playing in the villas, so as to increasethe cultural connotation of your trip to Xiamen. Gulangyu is an island of Xiamen, which is surrounded by the blue sea. It’s like a garden on the water. You can go there by ship/sea. On the island, cars, buses and bikes are not permitted there. It is so quiet that wherever you go, you can hear the sound of playing the piano. As a result of this, it is called “ the island of music”.(Thus/ Therefore) The Sunshine Rock is/lies on the highest place of the island. Standing on the top of it, you can enjoy/catch sight of the beautiful scenery of the whole Xiamen and other islands. If you want to know more about Xiamen’s history and changes, you can visit Xiamen Museum, which will make you understand Xiamen better. Such is Gulangyu, a fairyland in the world.介绍厦门鼓浪屿的英语作文2 Gulangyu is an island separated from Xiamen city proper. Its like a garden on the water. The shade of the trees covers nearly the whole island. Cars, buses, bikes are not allowed to drive there. Everyone should walk. This makes the place very quiet so that music played by the violin or the piano can be heard here and there. It is the famous "Home of Music".The Sunshine Rock is the highest place on the island, so it has become the symbol of Gulangyu. Standing at the top of the Sunshine Rock, one can see the landscape of the whole Xiamen ands other small islands. The sky and the sea meet on the horizon. Its said that people can see clearly the Jinmen Island through telescope when the sun is shining. There are gentle waves on the sea and lots of people are swimming. At the foot of the Sunshine Rock is Shuzhang Garden with its picturesque scenery. The Forty-four Bridge spans over the water like a white dragon. What a beautiful picture!介绍厦门鼓浪屿的英语作文 3 Gulangyu, separated from Xiamen by the 500-metre-wide Egret River, with an area of 1.77 square kilometres, enjoys a lauditory title Garden on the Sea. The original name of the islet was Yuan Zhou Zi. In the Ming Dynasty it was renamed Gulang, meaning drum waves, because the holes in the southwestern reefs hit by the waves make sounds like the drum beating.Overlapping peaks foil the blue water, white clouds, green trees and bright flowers. The air in the islet is fresh. The entire place is free from any sorts of vehicles and is particularly quiet. All these render an atmosphere of a fairyland. The roar of the waves breaks on the rocks. Impressive melodies surrounding and lingering on this island make famous for its piano-laden past. As a place of residence for Westerners during Xiamens colonial past, Gulangyu is famous for its architecture and for being home to Chinas largest piano museum. It is known as the piano island because people here love the piano. As early as 1913, students in schools run by foreigners started learning the piano. The enthusiasm for music later spread to more ordinary people on the island. Many piano families have since then come into being and produced accomplished musicians. And the number of thepianos possessed is in the leading place in the nation, though there is only a population of 20,000 people. No tourist can afford to miss one attraction located on the island —— the nations largest piano museum. Divided into two exhibition halls, the museum guides visitors through a vivid history of the instrument with displays and illustrations. All different types of pianos such as miniature pianos, automatic pianos, accordion pianos and round-shaped pianos, are on display. The architecture in the islet varies greatly in style, Chinese and foreign. Thus the islet has a laudatory title the World Architecture Museum Covered in green all the year round, its charming, elegant, secluded and serene. A great variety of villas stand shrouded by lush wood resembling numerous jadeites embellished upon a piece of verdant silk brocade. Hundreds of flowers grown on the Riguang Rock (Sunlight Rock) vie with one another for beauty. With the caressing sea breeze, its a quite cool place in hot summer. At the foot of the rock, theres the Memorial Hall to honor the national Hero Zheng Chenggong.Today, Gulangyu is listed as one of the nations major scenic spots. The main sites of interest here include the Sunlit Rock, Shuzhuang Park, Gangzihou Bathing Beach and Memorial Hall to Zheng Chenggong, which are visited annually by millions of people from all parts of the country and the world. For people living in the hustle and bustle of todays metropolis, citizens on this island seem to live in a paradise with a relaxing, healthy and placid lifestyle. Anyway, it was a pleasant trip.介绍厦门鼓浪屿的英语作文7 Gulangyu, these three words give people a lot of imagination and seem to have an indescribable but extremely wonderful relationship with music. In the midst of this music, a mountain stands before my eyes. Not climbing Sunlight Rock is a waste of time traveling to Xiamen. Unconsciously, playing music and accompanying the melody, we arrived at the foot of the mountain, where the sunlight fell onto the grass, green and sparkling, beautiful yet comfortable. Holding onto the shining handrail, climbing up the stairs step by step. The road of Riguangyan stretches in all directions, its like a maze. I walked a long way from here, but then turned around and returned to my original place. Although I was going there, I was brought here by rocks and birds. After going through countless hardships, we have finally reached the peak. A three story tall boulder stands towering in the air, completely natural. Standing on the Sunlight Rock and looking down, the banyan trees on Gulangyu Island are lush, the flowers in Shuzhuang Garden are in full bloom, boats shuttle non-stop on the blue sea surface, and the buildings on the mountainside are scattered and beautiful.Climbing to the mountaintop, waves of wet and salty sea breeze blew, and a resolute and tall figure appeared in front of me. He faced the sea, and the cloak behind him seemed to float in the wind, as if looking at the land across the strait. This statue even attracts visitors to stop and admire. I rode a bronze horse, holding a cannon, and watched the national hero Zheng Chenggong towering on the mountaintop. His great achievements surged in his heart. His heart must be calling for it, calling for it, and returning to his mothers embrace as soon as possible.Accompanied by bird songs and listening to the wind singing, in the hazy sky, I transformed into a rock, accompanied by the hero Zheng Chenggong, gazing at the small mountains介绍厦门鼓浪屿的英语作文8 Strolling along the main road of the campus, except for a few fallen leaves, there is no litter. The mango trees on both sides of the main road extend millions of arms to shield us from the dazzling sun. Sunshine streaks through the green leaves, slanting through the gaps and sprinkling on the ground. The big banyan tree next to the school gate, even after being tormented by a strong typhoon, still lives tenaciously and has grown many emerald green new leaves. The big banyan tree seems to be like an old man living in school, watching us, watching us go through these three years, watching us slowly grow. The school under the sunset looks particularly intoxicating. After school, many students stay at school to exercise, and under the afterglow, their smiles after exercising appear particularly bright. There are many senior students from the third year of junior high school running on the playground to prepare for the sports entrance exam. The playground is connected to the main road of the campus, and the tender leaves on the mango tree are sticking out one after another, adding a touch of coolness to the unobstructed playground. Many senior students sit on benches under the shade of trees to rest, watching their tired figures. Two years later, we will also face the difficulty of the middle school entrance exam like them. With only two years left,we will be leaving this beautiful school, so should we cherish this brief campus time even more?介绍厦门鼓浪屿的英语作文9 This summer, my father and I came to the famous Gulangyu Island in Xiamen to play.We bought tickets to cross the sea, boarded the ship, and arrived at Gulangyu Island. The sea on Gulangyu Island is very calm, and a few fish occasionally jump out of the sea. After crossing the sea, we arrived at a small island on the sea. Flip over a hill and come to the beach. The sand there is golden yellow. I was delighted to see such a beautiful scenery and started picking up shells. Shells come in various colors, including white, yellow, black, and black and white. They are truly colorful. I saw the blue water there and jumped into the sea to swim. There are no waves on the sea, unlike other seas, which always make me drink in the salty sea. It wasnt until noon, when I was about to be sunburned and dry, that I told my dad it was hot.We left the beach and came to a cave. The cave was so dark that we couldnt see our fingers. We held flashlights and walked to the middle of the cave. It was very cool in the middle of the cave. We ate some Dim sum and drank some water in the cave, and left when it was not so sunny. There is a dripping sound in the cave, as if singing to us.In the evening, my father and I reluctantly left Gulangyu and arrived at the place where we took the boat, and left. At that time, the sea was still in high tide介绍厦门鼓浪屿的英语作文10 The most unforgettable place we visited this summer is Gulangyu in Xiamen.I think the most beautiful places on Gulangyu Island are Sunlight Rock and Haoyue Garden. Let me first tell you about Sunlight Rock! As the saying goes, "If you dont climb Sunlight Rock, you cant be considered to have been to Xiamen." Sunlight Rock is the top "flower leader" on Gulangyu Island, which includes two parts: Sunlight Rock and Qinyuan. A giant stone with a diameter of over 40 meters stands tall in the air at the summit of Sunlight Rock, becoming a symbol of Xiamen. When the national hero Zheng Chenggong recaptured Taiwan, he once stationed troops here, leaving behind many touching legends. Sunlight Rock stands tall with strange stones, caves and ravines formed by heaven, waves crashing on the shore, lush trees, and colorful flowers, creating a romantic atmosphere of subtropical zone. The scenery of Sunlight Rock is completely natural, but the scenery of Haoyue Garden also has a different flavor. This stone sculpture is the largest among Chinese historical figures, with a group of large bronze reliefs standing on the square in the park, depicting the magnificent historical scene of Zheng Chenggongs eastward expedition and his return to Taiwan. The scenery of Haoyue Garden is charming, with the architectural features of the times and the sand gulls, trees, and sea views of the seaside. The mountains complement each other, forming a natural landscape painting.I have found a lot of fun on Gulangyu Island in Xiamen, and I hope everyone can go there and take a look when they have time. Because we have decided to go to Gulangyu Island. We arrived at the ferry pier, wow! There are so many people there, we waited in a long queue to reach Gulangyu Island. I only found out when I arrived at Gulangyu Island that this was actually a small island. The scenery on the island is very beautiful, with many oddly shaped trees, some of which even have roots growing in the rocky cliffs. The funniest thing is not to have a face tree. According to the tour guide, this is an eucalyptus tree without bark, which is very special. There are still many unknown fruits! We walked a long way and saw many ancient buildings along the way, such as foreign consulates. As we walked and played, we arrived at the beach again. I was excited and thought, "We can finally swim!" However, I carefully looked at a sign next to it that said no swimming. I was so disappointed and continued on my journey. We played all morning and bought a lot of things. We left Gulangyu reluctantly with our tired bodies.Gulangyu, you are really beautiful and have taught me a lot. I love you!介绍厦门鼓浪屿的英语作文13 Last summer vacation, my family and my cousin? Auntie? My uncle is going to Gulangyu Island in Xiamen, Fujian. We went to the yacht pier together, and Auntie went to buy tickets. After buying tickets, we boarded the boat and prepared to go to Gulangyu Island. The boat set sail, and I looked out, wow! The sea was clear and transparent, like a piece of glass. Little fish were jumping back and forth on the surface of the sea. After a while, the boat slowly approached Gulangyu Island. From a distance, there was a stone statue, which was our national hero, Zheng Chenggong. The boat stopped, and we gradually got off the boat. A tour guide led us towards a small path where there were some vendors selling products. We bought some Fujian specialties and continued to walk forward. Unconsciously, we arrived at the most famous scenic spot here, Monkey Mountain. Monkey Mountain is as high as a 10 story building. We walked up to Monkey Mountain, and halfway through, I looked down. Wow! Its so high. If it fell, the consequences would be unimaginable. Mom said, "Why say that?" I said, "Oh." Finally, we climbed Monkey Mountain. Wow, the sea was so golden, like a layer of gold was spread on it. I quickly asked Mom to take a camera, and I picked it up to capture the scenery.Unconsciously, it was already evening and we took a boat back to our cousins house.介绍厦门鼓浪屿的英语作文14 Gulangyu Island is a beautiful tourist attraction in Xiamen. When traveling to Xiamen, you must go to Gulangyu Island, otherwise you will regret it.October 1st happens to be the Golden Week, and my dad said he wants to go toGulangyu to play. I cant wait to get into my dads car and go to the ferry terminal. I took the boat to Gulangyu, ah! The scenery of Gulangyu Island is extremely beautiful. Walking on the island, we couldnt see any vehicles. According to my dad, there are no motor vehicles on Gulangyu Island, so we played to our hearts content. We arrived at Sunlight Rock, which is a small mountain with a large stone over 40 meters high. My brother and I reached the highest point and stood on it. Looking around, we saw towering buildings rising from the ground across Xiamen Island, with wide and long roads resembling silver ribbons. Walking down Sunlight Rock, we arrived at Haoyue Garden and saw a statue of Zheng Chenggong leading a large army in the garden, which was as high as five or six floors. My dad said that Gulangyu has many ancient pianos. Gulangyu is a famous piano island in China, where pianists from all over the country are trained. We walked to the beach and saw the sea, as if hearing the sea talking. Seagulls flew freely against the water surface. My brother and I were jumping on the beach, feeling incredibly happy. Gulangyu Island is so beautiful!介绍厦门鼓浪屿的英语作文15 I was born on Gulangyu Island, and I have always remembered the scenery there. Today, I will write about the scenery of Gulangyu Island in my memory. The place where Gulangyu Island left the deepest impression on me was where I lived for 6 years: my great grandmothers home. My great grandmothers house is a large courtyard with a hexagram tower next to it, which must have been a wealthy family before. This courtyard has gone through a hundred years of wind and frost, and it is in a state of disrepair. The third floor of the hexagram tower has long disappeared. However, in this dilapidated scene, there is a strong vitality. The sunlight passes through the doors and windows, reflecting the majestic figures of grass and banyan trees on the window lattice. The banyan trees long beard hangs down in front of the window, like a natural curtain. There are several tall loquat trees in the courtyard, with lush branches and leaves, making it a great place to cool off. Whenever the loquat ripens, the loquat fruits are like small yellow lanterns. This small lantern full of trees is instantly beautiful. Adults always pick some to satisfy my little greedy cat. I always eat what I have in my hand and look at whats on the tree. The Duke of Land saw me enjoying my meal, so he snatched it over and tasted it. I cried loudly when the loquat was snatched away, but it caused laughter from the adults. When I am so greedy that I hide loquats one by one in my belly, and my emotions become scenery in the eyes of others?。
