Unit 5 The seasons教材分析:本单元主要围绕“季节和气候”这个话题展开活动,所涉及的日常交际项目有介绍、询问和建议等,其中,以询问天气及其应答为重点内容。
同时学习一些常用的与气象有关的词汇。
为了使学生更好地学习掌握本单元的内容,在教学中,教师可充分利用多媒体课件、图片、幻灯和简笔画等手段,运用形象化的语言和动作,使教学内容更贴近学生的生活,激发学生的学习兴趣,提高学生参与运用语言活动的积极性。
学情分析:学生在日常生活中对季节和气候并不陌生,为保证学生有话可说,可让学生在课前了解当地气候及适合的运动项目。
为了将课文中所学知识点应用到实际生活中来,我在备课时设计了一些适合学生年龄特点的活动,为学生创设语言环境。
让学生们在游戏、活动的过程中学习语言,运用语言,调动学生的学习积极性,提高教学的效率。
单元教学目标:1.能听懂、会说、会读、会拼写单词season, next, weather, summer, autumn, best, spring, winter。
2.能听懂、会说、会读单词cool, windy, countryside, rain, warm, most, because, snowman, cloudy, rainy, go rowing and fishing。
3.能听懂、会说和会读日常交际用语Which season do you like best? I like … Why? Because it’s … I can …。
4.能听懂、会说、会读和会写句型What’s the weather like …?5.了解字母组合ow在单词中的读音。
6.会诵读歌谣Seasons。
课时安排:第一课时:学习B、C部分内容第二课时:学习C、E部分内容第三课时:学习A部分内容第四课时:学习F、G部分内容第五课时:学习D、H部分内容。
6 B Unit 5《The seasons》教学实录一、教材分析《牛津小学英语》6 B Unit 5《The seasons》A部分,此部分通过对话模式的短文探讨纽约的四季和气候,内容编写科学、合理并以情境交流为主线,巧妙地创设“苏阳的爸爸将去纽约”这一情境,与现实生活紧密相连,激发了学生的学习兴趣。
在教学设计时我紧紧把握A板块语篇整体教学的理念,从对话内容入手,先整体呈现学习语篇,并逐步分层引导学生学习课文中的语言知识,最后整体感知并拓展知识点。
二、教学过程(1)Step1.Warming up.①Free talk.②Sing a song《What’s the weather like?》(通过亲切的问候,听一听,唱一唱,拉近了师生间的距离,创设了良好的英语学习氛围,使学生尽快进入了学习的状态)(2)Step2.Presentation.巧设情境,引入新知。
①通过歌曲的歌词过渡到What’s the weather like?这个重点句型的讲解,并通过看、听等多种形式呈现表示天气的形容词。
T:It’s summer now.拓展What’s the weather like in summer?Summer is one of the seasons.T:How many seasons are there in a year?What are they?S:Four.呈现四季的图片,并分别操练四季的天气。

在学本课之前我平时就渗透了气候的英文问答,因为这与学生的日常生活联系紧密。
而四季中的Spring ,autumn已经在6A教材节假日中初步学习过了,于是我平时也渗透了四季单词,降低了教材的难度。
在教学时,我更多的是采用多媒体课件的呈现,生动地展现天气的变化和四季的更替,通过多媒体的呈现学生很容易地理解了单词的意思,既呈现的单词,又开动了学生的各种感官,加深了印象。
2. 情况说明:气候的问答和词汇sunny,rainy,hot,cold在前期的学习中已渗透过。
Spring和autumn在6A学节日时已学过,而summer和winter 在谈论假日和气候时也已渗透过。
