【设计意图】通过猜谜游戏复习以前学过的进行时态,采用猜谜的方式,既可以帮助学生复习以前的内容,又可以导入到这一课时的学习。让学生在轻松、有趣的参与中不知不觉进入课文情境。

第1课时 Unit 1 The balloons are flying away.
教学分析 Module 4是本册课本的第四模块,主要学习说明场景、寻求帮助。
Unit 1作为第一课时,开篇活动1用chant营造了你喜欢我、我喜欢你的有爱氛围,为寻求帮助话题做好铺垫。活动2呈现的是主情景,场景一,Daming问Simon,他的妈妈去哪里了?Simon说妈妈去为Daming的生日聚会购物了。场景二,妈妈买了很多东西,拿不动了,问谁来帮忙。Simon在打电话,不能帮忙;Daming答应着跑来帮忙。场景三,Daming不小心,橘子洒落一地,气球飞走了。Simon让大家看气球上的文字,上面写着:“生日快乐,大明!”通过这一情景呈现了寻求帮助的句型:Who can help me? 及其答语:I can’t help you. 和 I
can help you.生词气球balloon等。活动3和 4巩固操练描述困境、寻求帮助及其答语等,让学生学会运用语言。
六年级的学生已经学了三年的英语, 有了一定的英语基础,但学生对英语学习兴趣整体有所下降,会有些两极分化。有些学生性格比较内向,不善于表达。在设计教学时应该面向全体学生,低起点、小步子、快节奏,让不同层次学生都能学有所得,跟上节奏。始终把激发学生的学习兴趣放在首位,引导学生端正学习态度,掌握良好的学习方法。尽量采用新颖活泼有趣的教学形式进行教学,保持并提高学生学习英语的兴趣。
