2023年高考英语作文范文欣赏全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Big Brother's English ExamMy big brother Xiao Ming is in the last year of high school. That means he has to take a really big test called the Gaokao to get into a university. The Gaokao has a English part where you have to write an essay. My brother has been studying really hard for his English essay test.My brother lets me look at the practice essays he writes sometimes. They are way too hard for me, with all those big words and long sentences. But I like reading them anyway because my brother is a good writer. His teacher always gives him good grades. One essay my brother wrote was about protecting the environment. He wrote about how we need to recycle more and use less plastic. We try to do that at my house by using reusable bags instead of plastic when we go to the store. My brother also wrote that we should drive less and walk or ride bikes more touse less gas and have less pollution. I always ride my bike to school instead of taking the bus.Another essay my brother did was on the importance of family values. He wrote about how families need to spend more quality time together. My family always has dinner together every night and we talk about our days. On weekends we like to go to the park or museum as a family. My brother said in his essay that parents need to be good role models by having good manners and being kind to others. My dad is really polite and always holds the door open for people. The essay that I thought was the most interesting was one about youth culture. My brother wrote that young people today are very connected through technology and social media. He said this can be good for sharing ideas but also bad if we become too isolated. I'm not allowed to have a smartphone yet, but all my classmates do and are always playing games together after school. My brother also wrote that young people today care about individuality and self-expression through fashion and music more than past generations. I like picking out my own wild outfits and hairstyles to express myself! My mom told me the English essay on the real Gaokao is usually about a more serious topic related to society or moralvalues. The graders want to see if you can make a persuasive argument and support it with good examples and reasoning. My brother has been practicing different opinion essay topics like that.I'm not sure I totally understand everything in my brother's practice essays. But I can tell he is working really hard and his writing has been improving a lot. My parents are proud of his progress. We are all hoping he does well on the real English test so he can get into a great university next year.Even though I'm just a fourth grader, reading my brother's essays is helping me get ready for writing longer essays myself soon. I know I still have a lot of work to do on using fancier vocabulary, writing longer sentences, and developing strong arguments. But I'm working hard in class on all those skills. After the big Gaokao exam is finally over, my brother promised to take me to get ice cream to celebrate. I'm really looking forward to that! I just hope all his hard work on his English essays pays off with a high score. I'll be crossing my fingers for him on exam day!篇2My Big Adventures in Fifth GradeHi there! My name is Lily and I'm 11 years old. I just finished the 5th grade and I can't wait to tell you all about the awesome adventures I had this past school year. It was the best year ever!It all started on the very first day of school. I was so nervous because I didn't know anybody in my new class. But my teacher, Mrs. Chang, was really nice. She had us go around the room and introduce ourselves. I learned that there were kids from all over - some were篇3My Super Fun Summer Vacation!Hi! My name is Emily and I'm 9 years old. I just finished 3rd grade and I had the best summer vacation ever! I got to do so many fun things. First, my family went on a big trip to Florida for 2 weeks in June. We stayed at a really cool resort right near the beach. Every day we would wake up and go swimming in the huge pool or playing in the ocean and making sandcastles. The beach had really pretty white sand and the water was so warm and blue. We even saw some small fish swimming around our feet! But the most exciting part was going to Walt Disney World! We spent 3 whole days at the different Disney parks. My favoritewas definitely the Magic Kingdom. It's like walking into a fairytale land with hugecastles and princess characters everywhere. We went on so many amazing rides like Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and my number one favorite - Space Mountain! That one is an indoor roller coaster that goes really fast and does loops in the dark. I was a little scared at first but then it was just a huge thrilling rush. We also saw the awesome fireworks show projected onto Cinderella's castle at night. At Epcot, we got to go "around the world" by walking through areas designed like different countries. We ate yummy food from Mexico, Italy, China and more. In the China area they had these amazing acrobats doing crazy flips and balancing acts.I don't know how they could bend and twist their bodies like that! My little brother's favorite was the huge golf ball shaped sphere called Spaceship Earth that you can go inside and learn about technology. The next Disney park was Hollywood Studios which was all themed around movies and TV shows. We met characters like Buzz Lightyear and Woody from Toy Story. The highlight was the awesome new ride Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge where you get to pilot the Millennium Falcon spaceship! It feels so real like you'rezooming through an epic Star Wars space battle. We built our own lightsabers and drank fun Star Wars drinks with crazy alien names at the cantina. I definitely want to be a Jedi when I grow up after seeing all the cool things there. The last Disney park was Animal Kingdom which was my second favorite because I love animals and nature. We went on the best ride ever called Flight of Passage where you ride on a mythical banshee creature and soar through the sky on a magical journey over jungles, rivers and beaches. It's designed so well that you really feel like you're up in the air! We also saw incredible shows with acrobats and puppeteers acting out stories with life-sized dinosaurs and birds doing tricks. And of course, there were tons of real animals too like lions, elephants, gorillas and more in huge habitats.Besides Disney, we also went to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure which had awesome rides like the Incredible Hulk coaster and the new Jurassic World VelociCoaster where you think you're about to get eaten by realistic dinosaurs! My brother loved the Wizarding World of Harry Potter where you can wander around the village of Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley while drinking butterbeer and buying magic wands. When we got back home from Florida, I went to summer camp for a few weeks. We did so many fun activities like swimming, hiking, canoeing, rock climbing, arts and crafts, playing capture the flag and telling spooky stories around the campfire. I made a lot of new friends from all over. One of my favorite parts was going on the big zipline that soars you way up in the trees! It was a little scary at first but then so cool to go zipping through the forest. We also went on a big camping trip in the mountains for a long weekend. It was my first time ever sleeping in a tent! We told ghost stories, roasted s'mores over the campfire and saw sooo many stars at night that you can't see in the city. During the day, we went on long awesome hikes up to beautiful waterfalls and got to splash around in the cold, clear pools. We even spotted a family of deer prancing through the woods! Our trip leader taught us cool survival skills too like how to find drinkable water sources and make shelters out of sticks and leaves. On the 4th of July, we had our annual neighborhood block party which was a blast. We kids ran around playing games like cornhole and ladder ball while the adults grilled out and listened to music. After it got dark, we had the funnest time catching fireflies in jars and doing sparklers. The big finale was an epicfireworks show that felt like it went on forever with every color and shape explosion you could imagine! Red chrysanthemums, green palms, silver spinner swirls...it was pure magic.Well those were definitely the highlights but there was still so much more! I tried lots of new hobbies like painting, knitting, and outdoor rock climbing at a gym. I read a whole stack of books from the library about space, ancient Egypt, and mystery stories. And of course I played outside with my friends every day - going to the pool, having water balloon fights, riding bikes and rollerskating at the park.Overall it was just the best summer a kid could ask for! I got to travel to awesome new places, experience thrilling rides and shows, be out in nature, learn cool new skills, and spend tons of quality time with family and friends making amazing memories. I felt like I grew and matured a lot too by trying so many new challenges and activities outside my comfort zone. Although I do love school, I'm kind of sad summer is over but also really excited to start 4th grade! I just hope next summer can be half as fun and adventurous as this one was.篇4My Awesome Summer VacationHi everyone! My name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. I just had the best summer vacation ever and I can't wait to tell you all about it!It all started on the last day of school. I was so excited for summer break because my parents promised to take me on a super fun trip. But they wouldn't tell me where we were going - it was going to be a surprise! I could barely sleep the night before our trip because I was so curious and excited. Finally, the morning came and my mom woke me up really early. I groggily got dressed and brushed my teeth. Then we piled into the car with our suitcases. "Are you ready for an adventure?" my dad asked with a big smile. I nodded vigorously, practically bouncing up and down in my seat. After driving for what seemed like forever, we arrived at the airport! I had never been on a plane before so I was a little nervous but mostly really thrilled.A few hours later, the plane landed and we stepped out into the bright sunshine. The air felt warm and tropical. I looked around in awe at the beautiful scenery of palm trees, sparkling blue ocean, and sandy beaches. "Welcome to Hawaii!" my dad exclaimed. I let out a squeal of delight - I had always wanted to visit Hawaii and see the ocean up close. Our hotel was right on the beach, with a huge pool shaped like a hippo! My sister and I spent almost every day splashing around in the pool and making sandcastles on the beach. We also went snorkeling and saw so many amazing tropical fish. Another day, we went on a submarine tour and looked at coral reefs and shipwrecks under the sea. It was like being in an aquarium, but better! One of the coolest things we did was go on a helicopter tour over the islands. We got to see tall waterfalls, jutting cliffs, and even an active volcano from high up in the air. The islands looked like tiny jewels in the vast ocean. I had never seen anything like it before. We also went to a cultural show where dancers performed the hula and other traditional Hawaiian dances. The music was beautiful and the costumes were so colorful and detailed. At the end, we got to try yummy Hawaiian food like poi, kalua pork, and haupia coconut pudding. My favorite was the pineapple whipped cream pie - it was sweet and tangy and melt-in-your-mouth delicious!Another fun experience was visiting the Dole pineapple plantation. We took a tour through the fields and learned all about how pineapples are grown. We even got to try freshpineapple picked right off the plant. It was juicier and sweeter than any pineapple I had ever tasted before! At the end, we did a pineapple-themed obstacle course which was hilarious and had us all cracking up.On our last day in Hawaii, my dad surprised us again by taking us whale watching. We got on a big boat and sailed far out into the ocean, scanning the waters for whale spouts. Suddenly, a huge humpback whale broke through the surface, spraying water everywhere! We watched as it arched its massive back out of the water before slapping its tail fin down with an enormous splash. Seeing such an enormous, majestic creature up close was just breathtaking. What an incredible way to end our tropical vacation!Too soon, it was time to leave paradise and head back home.I was really sad for our vacation to be over, but also so grateful to my parents for giving us such an amazing experience. We saw and did so many cool things, made wonderful memories, and spent quality time together as a family. This was definitely the best summer ever, and I will never forget our amazing trip to Hawaii!Well, that's my super long story about my awesome summer vacation. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoyed hearing allabout my tropical adventures! Now I want to hear from you - what's the best trip you've ever taken? Where would your dream vacation be? Let me know in the comments below!篇5My Big Cousin's Big TestMy cousin Jia is really smart and he just took this huge test called the Gaokao. It's a big deal in China because your score decides what university you can go to. Jia had to study so hard for like a whole year! I'm only 10 years old so tests still seem kind of fun to me, but this Gaokao thing seemed really stressful.Jia came over to our house a bunch in the last few months to study with my dad and avoid distractions. My little brother and I weren't allowed to make any noise when he was working. He had this intense schedule where he studied for hours every day after school and all weekend long. Even during summer vacation last year he could hardly ever come out to play because he had mounds of homework and practice tests. I remember peeking into the living room and seeing him surrounded by huge books and notebooks while everyone else was outside swimming. It looked so boring! On the days before the Gaokao, Jia stopped leaving the house completely. He slept weird hours, pulled a bunch ofall-nighters, and survived off instant noodles and energy drinks. He has always been a pretty quiet guy but in that period he looked exhausted and hardly ever cracked a smile. I could sense my parents walking on eggshells around him trying not to add any more pressure. Adults can be so strange sometimes. The Gaokao itself was three days long! Jia said your hand actually starts to cramp up towards the end from all the writing. The first day was just Chinese and English language tests which seemed hard enough. But then the second day you have to take Math, an integrated science test covering all kinds of topics like chemistry, physics and biology, and write two huge essays! Just thinking about that makes my brain hurt. The third day was about history, geography, politics and more crazy essays. I don't know how Jia's hand didn't just fall off.I have never seen someone so relieved as when Jia finished that final exam. He looked like he had been holding his breath for months and could finally start living again. Of course, then he had the agonizing six week wait to get his Gaokao score! In the meantime, he helped out at my dad's factory and played more video games than a kid at summer camp. When the scores finally came out, there were more ups and downs. Jia had worked so hard but his score wasn't quite as high as he had dreamed. It turned out he didn't do well enough on the math section to get into the very top universities. I overheard him crying in his room one night feeling sorry for himself. That made me really sad because he had sacrificed so much of his life as a teenager to prepare. However, Jia's score was still super impressive overall and he got into a wonderful university ranked in the top 20 in China. At his new篇6My Big Sis is So Smart! Model English Essays for the GaokaoHi everybody! My name is Xiaoming and I'm a 4th grader. I have an older sister named Meimei who is in 12th grade this year. She has been working super duper hard to get ready for the big Gaokao test to try to get into a great university next year. Part of the test is writing an English essay and Mom and Dad said I should take a look at some model essays to learn more about good writing. I'm going to share my thoughts on a few that my sister has been studying. I'll do my best to explain what I liked and what made them good examples! The first one I read was called "Technology: A Blessing or a Curse?". It was all about how computers, smartphones and the internet have changed our lives. The writer made some really interesting points about the pros and cons of technology. On the one hand, they said it has made communication and access to information way easier than before. We can learn about anything with a few taps on our devices! And apps let us chat with friends and family near and far.But then the writer brought up some of the downsides too. Like how we can get addicted to our screens and stop engaging with the real world around us. Or how hackers and cyberbullies can use tech to hurt people. There were a lot of examples that made me think "Hmm yeah, that's a good point!" I could tell the writer put a lot of thought and research into seeing both the positives and negatives. What made it a strong essay though, was how it didn't just list the pros and cons, but had a clear stance and conclusion. The main argument was that while technology has risks we need to be aware of, ultimately it is a great blessing that is improving quality of life if used responsibly. The writer backed this up with facts about how tech helps doctors treat patients, allows students to access quality education online, and connects peopleglobally to drive progress. By addressing the counterarguments too, it made the overall stance even more convincing. The second essay my sis showed me was titled "The Value of Teamwork". This one was all about the importance of cooperation, especially in school and the workplace. It started with some thought-provoking examples of how even individual sports stars like Michael Jordan had whole teams of coaches, trainers etc. helping them succeed. And how scientists, inventors and entrepreneurs rarely make big breakthroughs entirely alone. Then it went into the more abstract skills that teamwork builds, like communication, division of responsibilities,giving/receiving feedback and managing conflicts. The writer used a nice analogy of an orchestra, where every musician is talented, but only by working together can they create beautiful harmonies. There were also some statistics about how companies and schools that prioritize collaboration tend to be more productive and have better employee/student satisfaction. What stood out as effective about this essay was how it used a lot of vivid examples, analogies and facts to really reinforce the main point. Rather than just stating "teamwork is important", it showed why through various lenses and analyses. It made the concept much more tangible and understandable. The essay alsomentioned some counterarguments about things like interpersonal conflicts, unequal workloads and "too many cooks in the kitchen" slowing projects down. However, it rebutted these points quite compellingly. The last sample essay I'll mention was "Environmental Conservation: Our Collective Responsibility". This one was all about climate change, pollution, biodiversity loss and humanity's role in protecting the planet. The introduction powerfully laid out all the worrying data and trends, like rising temperatures, deforestation rates and species going extinct. It made me feel really concerned about the future of the Earth! However, the body paragraphs then pivoted to exploring all the things people, governments, companies etc. have been doing or could do to mitigate the damage. From individuals reducing energy use and waste, to countries investing in renewable power and conservation efforts, to innovations like electric vehicles and sustainable product design. The examples spanned local, national and global scales. What made this a strong model essay was how it went beyond just stating facts and realities to proposing solutions and action plans. While being informative, it also struck an inspiring, motivational tone that we all have the ability to beenvironmental stewards through our daily habits and collective efforts. Rather than leaving the reader feeling hopeless, it empowered them to be part of the solution. The conclusion especially drove home that idea of individual and shared responsibility towards a better future.Well, those are just my thoughts as a 4th grader after reading through those Gaokao essay examples that Meimei has been studying. Of course, there's a lot of advanced vocabulary, mature themes and complex analysis that goes over my head being so young. But I tried my best to appreciate what made them effective pieces of writing, with things like:Taking a clear stance while acknowledging counterargumentsUsing vivid examples, facts and research to support the main argumentsExploring different perspectives and scales (individual, local, global etc.)Proposing solutions and calls-to-action, not just stating problemsStriking a convincing yet balanced and nuanced toneI'm sure my remarkable big sis Meimei will apply all those essay writing skills and more to rock her Gaokao test this year. I'll be cheering her on every step of the way! I hope by getting a little peek into these model essays, I've started learning what makes for effective writing myself. Who knows, maybe I'll be the next famous author someday! Okay, gotta run, my Yu-Gi-Oh! duel is about to start. Thanks for reading, bye!。

Today I want to tell you all about my amazing school life!First off, our school is so cool! It's a big building with lots of colorful walls and playgrounds outside. When you walk in, there's a huge hall with tall windows that let in tons of light. I love looking at the butterflies and birds flying around outside during class. My favorite part of the building has to be the library though. It's like a magical kingdom full of books on every topic you can imagine! I try to check out the maximum number of books allowed each week.Speaking of books, I have the best teacher ever for my main class, Mrs. Wang. She makes learning super fun and interesting. Like when we were studying fractions, she brought in pizzas and had us cut them into slices to understand the concept better. During reading time, she does awesome voices for all thedifferent characters. Sometimes she even wears costumes! My friends and I can't stop giggling. Mrs. Wang is so silly and nice. She really cares about every student and helps anyone who's struggling with patience and kindness. I feel so lucky to have her as my teacher. Then there are the twins, Jack and Jill. Can you believethey're actually called that? So perfect for twins! Jack is a major prankster and is always cracking jokes to make us laugh, even when we're supposed to be quiet in class. Jill is a little quieter and loves reading and studying as much as I do. She's helped me a lot with tricky math concepts. My other close friends are Alex and Michael. Alex is the friend I can count on for amazing advice about anything and everything. She seems to have wisdom beyond her years. And Michael is my buddy for sports and outdoor activities. I just took the big Zhejiang English exam and boy was it an adventure! Let me tell you all about it.It started a few months ago when my English teacher Ms. Wang told the class we'd be taking this huge important test. I got kind of nervous because English is my hardest subject. I can speak it okay since my mom is an English teacher and makes me practice at home. But reading and writing is really tough for me.Ms. Wang said we better start studying hard right away. So every day after school instead of playing basketball with my friends, I had to go to her extra English tutoring sessions. It was no fun at all! We had to learn all these crazy grammar rules and do millions of practice test questions. My brain felt like it was going to explode from information overload.A few weeks before the test, Ms. Wang gave us all these strategies for the exam. She said to read the questions very carefully and underline key words and instructions. She also taught us tricks for eliminating wrong multiple choice answers. I tried to remember it all but there was just so much to keep straight! Finally the big day arrived - April 15, 2024. I barely slept the night before from nerves. My mom made me a big breakfast though to give me energy. She also packed me an extra snack and water bottle for the test. When I got to school, I saw myclassmates looking just as nervous as me. We were quieter than I'd ever seen a group of 5th graders before! The test was held in the gym rather than our normal classrooms. They had temporary desks set up everywhere and strict monitoring rules. No talking, no cheating, and we had to leave our pencil cases and bags out in the hall. It felt really official and high stakes. The first section was listening comprehension. They played these recordings of conversations or stories, and we had to answer multiple choice questions about what we heard. I'm usually pretty good at listening, so that part wasn't too bad. Although there were a few trick questions that were hard to catch.Next up was reading comprehension which is my nemesis! We had to read these super long, boring passages and then answer all these ridiculously detailed questions about them. My eyes glazed over from boredom and I kept having to reread parts over and over. I just tried my best and moved on when I got stuck. After that was the written section which I was dreading. We had to write a short essay responding to a prompt about our future goals or something like that. I hate writing essays! Youhave to organize your thoughts and check your grammar so carefully. My hand cramped up from writing so much. The last part was oral which was kind of fun and different. We got partnered up and had to have a conversation in English based on some prompts and pictures they gave us. My partner Xiaoqi is really good at speaking, so I just tried to keep up with her as best as I could. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the exam was over! My brain was fried and my hand was sore, but I heaved a huge sigh of relief. All that studying and hard work leading up to it was so worth it to have that tough test behind me.A few weeks later, Ms. Wang posted all our scores outside her classroom. I was nervous but hopeful as I scanned the list for my name...and I passed! Not with an amazing score, but respectable enough. The whole class cheered and we celebrated our achievement.Looking back, that 2024 Zhejiang English exam was one of the biggest challenges I'd ever faced in my young life. It pushed me to my academic limits and tested my discipline and endurance. While it was stressful at times, I'm proud that I worked so hard and persevered through it. An experience like that helps build important life skills.Who knows, maybe I'll end up using those English skills for a future career someday traveling the world or working with international companies. Or maybe I'll just be able to understand my favorite English songs and movies better! Either way, I'm grateful for how that intense exam helped take my English abilities to the next level. The 2024 Zhejiang English exam was truly an unforgettable adventure.篇3Certainly, here's a sample essay in the voice of an elementary school student, approximately 2000 words long, on the topic of the 2024 Zhejiang English Exam:A Big Day for Me!Hi there! My name is Xiao Ming, and I'm a fifth-grader at Sunshine Elementary School in Hangzhou. I'm here to tell you all about my experience taking the 2024 Zhejiang English Exam. It was a really big deal for me, and I've been waiting for this day for a long time! You see, I've always loved learning English. Ever since I was a little kid, I've been fascinated by the language and how different it sounds from Chinese. I remember watching cartoons andmovies in English and trying to pick up words and phrases. It was like a fun game to me!When I started going to school, English quickly became my favorite subject. I loved learning new vocabulary words and practicing conversations with my classmates. My English teacher, Mrs. Wang, is really nice and always makes the lessons fun and interesting. As I got older, I realized that being good at English could open up a lot of opportunities for me in the future. I could travel the world, make friends from different countries, and maybe even work in an international company someday. That's why I decided to work really hard and prepare for the big English exam this year. For months leading up to the exam, I studied every chance I got. I practiced my reading and writing skills, memorized grammar rules, and even had my parents quiz me on vocabulary words during car rides. It was a lot of work, but I didn't mind because I was determined to do my best. Finally, the big day arrived! I woke up extra early and had a big, healthy breakfast to fuel my brain. My mom packed me a special snack and a bottle of water to take with me to the exam. As I walked into the testing center, I felt a mix of excitement andnerves. This was it – the moment I had been working towards for so long! The exam itself was challenging, but I felt prepared. The reading comprehension section was tough, with some really long and complicated passages. But I tried to stay focused and read carefully. The writing section was a bit easier for me since I've always enjoyed creative writing. I wrote a story about a brave knight who goes on an adventure to rescue a princess from a fire-breathing dragon. Pretty cool, right? After what felt like forever, the exam was finally over. I walked out of the testing center feeling both relieved and a little exhausted. But I was also really proud of myself for giving it my all. Now, I'm just waiting for the results to come back. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I did well, but even if I didn't get a perfect score, I know I worked hard and learned a lot through this whole process. No matter what, I'm going to keep practicing and improving my English skills.Who knows, maybe someday I'll be able to write books or give speeches entirely in English! The possibilities are endless when you can communicate in multiple languages. For now, though, I'm just glad this big exam is behind me. Time to relaxand enjoy being a kid again – at least until the next big test rolls around!篇4My Awesome FamilyHi there! My name is Xiaoming, and I'm 10 years old. I want to tell you all about my awesome family because they're the best ever! We live in a cozy little house in the countryside, and even though it's not super big, it's filled with so much love and happiness.Let me start with my dad. He's the funniest guy you'll ever meet! He's always cracking jokes and making us all laugh until our tummies hurt. But he's not just a funny guy – he's also really smart and hard-working. He works as an engineer at a big company, and he's always coming home with interesting stories about the cool things he gets to build. My mom is the kindest person in the whole wide world. She's a nurse at the local hospital, and she takes care of sick people all day long. But even when she's tired from a long day at work, she always has a warm smile and a big hug waiting for me when I get home from school. Mom is also an amazing cook – her dumplings are the best in the universe! Then there's my big sister, Xiaoyu. She's 14 years old and can be a bit of a pain sometimes (like all big sisters, I guess!). But she's also really cool and helps me with my homework when I get stuck. Xiaoyu is a total brainiac and wants to be a scientist when she grows up. She's always doing crazy experiments in our backyard, and sometimes they even work! And last but not least, there's my grandma. She's the sweetest little old lady you'll ever meet. Grandma loves to tell us stories from when she was a kid, and they're always so fascinating. She's also an expert at all kinds of traditional Chinese crafts, like calligraphy and paper-cutting. Whenever I visit her, she teaches me new techniques and lets me practice with her.Our family might not be perfect, but we love each other to the moon and back. We have so much fun together, whether we're going on picnics, playing games, or just hanging out at home. My parents always encourage me to follow my dreams and never give up, no matter how hard things get. And my sister and grandma are always there to lend a helping hand or a listening ear.I know I'm super lucky to have such an amazing family. They're my biggest supporters, my best friends, and my wholeworld. I can't imagine life without them, and I hope we'll always be as close and loving as we are now.Well, that's my family in a nutshell! Aren't they the greatest?I could go on and on about how wonderful they are, but I think you get the idea. If you ever meet them, you'll see exactly what I mean. Thanks for letting me gush about my awesome family – I hope you have an amazing one too!篇5My Awesome School LifeHi there! My name is Lily and I'm a 4th grader at Sunny Hills Elementary School. I just love my school so much and I want to tell you all about it!First of all, our school building is super cool. It's a big red brick building with lots of windows to let in natural light. There's a huge playground outside with swings, slides, monkey bars, and even a rock climbing wall! During recess, all the kids run around and play fun games like tag and four square. Sometimes we have sports day and get to do relay races, tug-of-war, and other athletic activities. My favorite is the water balloon toss! The classrooms are great too. The desks are bright colors like blue, green, and yellow. On the walls there are educational posters about things like the alphabet, numbers, world maps, and famous scientists. We even have a classroom pet - Mr. Nibbles the hamster! Taking care of him teaches us about being responsible. Each week a different student gets to take him home for the weekend. My teacher, Miss Garcia, is the nicest person ever. She's really pretty with long dark hair and she always wears dresses with fun patterns like polka dots or stripes. Miss Garcia makes learning feel like a game instead of hard work. In reading class, we take turns picking our favorite story from the bookshelf and she does funny voices for all the characters. Math is super engaging because we use counting blocks, scales, and other hands-on materials. We even have little whiteboards at our desks to work out problems. For science, we get to do a lot of cool experiments. One time we made baking soda and vinegar volcanoes that totally erupted! We've also learned about the lifecycle of butterflies by watching real caterpillars turn into cocoons and then emerge as colorful butterflies. My favorite was when we got to dissect an owl pelletand found a bunch of little rodent bones inside. So gross but awesome!Art class is a blast too. We work with all sorts of different supplies like paints, clay, crayons, and collage materials. Once we even got to make printed designs by carving into foam plates and using them like stamps. I made a beautiful butterfly print that my mom hung up on our fridge at home. I'm a pretty good artist if I do say so myself! The cafeteria food is decent, not as good as my mom's cooking of course. We get choices like chicken nuggets, pizza, tacos, and spaghetti with meatballs. There's also a salad bar with fresh veggies and fruits if you want something healthier. My favorite is when they serve warm chocolate chip cookies for dessert - yum! After lunch, we have indoor recess in the big multipurpose room. There's a stage with a curtain where we sometimes have talent shows or performances. We can play board games, do puzzles, or just run around getting our energy out. It's especially fun when the older kids from the 5th grade join us and we can play group games all together.Overall, I just love my wonderful elementary school. The building is nice, the teachers make learning engaging, and thereare so many fun activities and resources. My favorite part though is just getting to see my friends every single day. We laugh, we play, and we grow smarter together. These are some of the best days of my life for sure! I feel so lucky to attend such an amazing school.篇6My Big Adventure at the ZooHi everyone! My name is Lily and I'm 8 years old. I just had the best day ever at the zoo and I can't wait to tell you all about it!It all started last Saturday morning. My mom woke me up early and said "Get ready Lily, we're going to the zoo today!" I was so excited, I jumped right out of bed. I love going to the zoo to see all the amazing animals. After getting dressed and eating a yummy breakfast of pancakes, we got in the car and headed to the Hangzhou Zoo. The drive took about an hour from our house. I could hardly sit still in the backseat because I was so anxious to get there. "Are we there yet? Are we there yet?" I kept asking my parents over and over again. Finally, we arrived and I could see the huge entrance gate. There were all kinds of animal statues and decorations out front. We bought our tickets and went inside. The first thing we did was grab a map to figure out what animals we wanted to see first."Can we go see the elephants daddy? Pleeeeease?" I begged. Elephants are my favorite animal so of course I wanted to start there. Dad said yes, so off we went towards the elephant enclosure.Wow, the elephants were even bigger than I imagined! There were three huge adult Asian elephants slowly walking around, swinging their long trunks back and forth. One of them even sprayed water from its trunk which made me laugh. The elephant area had a pool for them to swim in and lots of trees and grass. It seemed like a nice place for them to live. After watching the elephants for a while, we headed over to the big cat area to see the lions and tigers. The lion was a giant male with a puffy mane. He was napping lazily under a shady tree. But the tiger was pacing around, looking very dangerous and powerful. I was a little scared of him to be honest! Then we saw the gorillas, which were really funny and goofy looking. I loved watching a mama gorilla playing with her baby gorilla. They looked so cute and human-like. One of the biggergorillas came right up to the glass window and stared at us. He had the weirdest facial expression that made us all crack up laughing. For lunch, we had a picnic on the lawn area by the lake. My mom had packed a delicious lunch of sandwiches, fruits, and juice boxes. While we were eating, we saw a flock of bright pink flamingos wading in the shallow water. I tried to sneak over and get a closer look at them, but mom stopped me before I got too close. After resting for a bit, it was time to check out some more animals. We visited the monkey habitat next. Those little guys were swinging from branch to branch and making tons of funny noises. Some of the baby monkeys even did hilarious backflips! I definitely want to be a monkey when I grow up so I can climb trees and hang from my tail all day.The reptile house was fascinating but also a little creepy. There were all kinds of snakes, lizards, geckos, and even an enormous python behind the glass. Dad told me that certain snakes could easily wrap around me and swallow me whole. No thanks, I'll pass on getting that close to them!My favorite part might have been the penguin exhibit. It was a special indoor area with a gigantic swimming pool and rocksfor the penguins to stand on. I've never seen so many penguins all together before! They looked so puffed up and cute as they waddled around. Some were diving into the water to swim while others just stood there looking confused. Penguins always make me laugh with how silly they act.We finished our zoo adventure by visiting the gift shop. I begged my parents to buy me some souvenirs and they gave in by getting me a stuffed baby elephant toy. I named him Elliot and he's going to be my new best friend. I can't wait to bring him to show and tell at school! As we were walking back to the car, my feet were sore and I felt exhausted from all the walking and excitement. But I had the biggest smile on my face. "Thank you mom and dad for taking me to the Hangzhou Zoo, it was the best day ever!" I shouted. And I really meant it. I'll never forget my amazing up-close encounters with so many fascinating animals.I'm already counting down the days until we can go back again. Maybe next time we can eat breakfast with the orangutans or sleep overnight in a tent by the giraffe exhibit! A kid can dream, right? I just hope Elliot the elephant doesn't get too jealous when I bring home a giraffe stuffed animal too. Haha!Well, that's all for my zoo adventure diary. Thanks for reading about my best day ever. I gave the zoo five out of five stars! It's a must-visit place for kids and animal lovers of all ages.I can't wait to go on my next big adventure. Until next time, this is Lily signing off!。

Some of them play an important role in peoples life and some have greatly changed the world. In my opinion, I think the most important invention is the car. First, people used to travel by train or by plane. But now, they can go any place by car. Second, when holiday comes, they can visit their family and friends by car. Third, they can also go to many places of interest to enjoy themselves. In a word, I do agree that cars are the most important invention.全国高考英语作文范文(篇4)Nowadays, there appears a phenomenon that the western customs are spreading into the east countries step by step, thus making manyinhabitants who live in big cities enjoy themselves on these western festivals such as Christmas Day, April Fool’s Day, etc. Such phenomenon shows us that the world people are getting close gradually and the world is becoming smaller and smaller as well. Therefore, in my opinion, it’s a normal phenomenon s well as a necessary trend.First of all, it shows that we Chinese have become much opener rather than clinging to some very old customs, which are opposite our living. Looking back on the history, we can find the answer to why our China was very poor and weak in the 1800’s. Yes, the answer is that we closed ourselves not to let other countries know about us, and this led us to a very hard road on which we suffered many wars that many European countries launched. So I think it is more than necessary to accept other customs instead of closing ourselves. Of course, festivals are just the beginning. What’s more, the Open and Reform Policy results in this. So I want to say it is a great achievement for the policy. Since we took the policy into practice, our country is developing with a rapid speed. No doubt it is an essential trend.Last but not the least, we may get closer and closer not only to our home friends but also to many foreigners. We can never feel embarrassed for not knowing the other’s customs and manners. And more misunderstandings can be avoided as well.To sum up, the trend has its great advantage to a certain extent. However, if we admire the western customs too much, it will be a disadvantage because China is our own country, all of us should enjoy apatriotic heart. Wish in the near future, we can see the situation that westerners are enjoying themselves on the Spring Festival.全国高考英语作文范文(篇5)Varieties of electronic gadgets, without which some of us cant live, come into being. In China, Alipay is populareverywhere, even the small business can be finished by thisadvanced way. People play the joke that they don’t need toworry about the lack of cash. The advantages of onlinepayment are obvious.Firstly, it saves people’s time to pay bills. The use of onlinepayment is carried out with a smart phone. The Gaokao is like the biggest exam ever in China. It’s super important for all of us students. The English exam was a bit tough this year, but I think I did ok. We had to write an essay about our dreams and how we plan to achieve them. I wrote about wanting to become a doctor and help people who are sick. I talked about studying hard and never giving up, just like all the superheroes in my favorite comic books. There was also a listening comprehension section where we had to listen to people talking and answer questions. Some of the speakers talked really fast, but I tried my best to understand.Next came the grammar and vocabulary part. I had to fill in the blanks with the right words and choose the correct answer in multiple-choice questions. It was a bit tricky, but I think I did pretty well.Overall, the Gaokao was a challenge, b ut I’m proud of myself for getting through it. Now, all I can do is wait for the results and hope for the best.I hope all of my friends did well too! Let’s all keep our fingers crossed and stay positive. We worked hard, and that’s what really matters in the end.Good luck to all of us!Your friend,[Your Name]篇4Title: My Experience of Taking the Shaanxi Provincial College Entrance Examination in 2023Hi everyone, I want to share with you my experience of taking the Shaanxi Provincial College Entrance Examination in 2023. No matter what we do, none of us can say we will surely succeed, because there is no such thing as plain sailing.About failure, different people have different opinions. Generally speaking, on one hand, people think "failure is the mother of success". They think we wont understand the profound meaning of success until we go through failure. On the other hand, for some people, failure is frustration. They think if a person goes through too much failure, he will collapse and lose confidence in his life.In my opinion, failure is the footstone and catalyst of the edifice of success. "You dont know what you have until its gone." If you have never lost it, and always get it easily, you will not cherish what you get and own.高考英语作文范文3There are many advantages of smiling.
