一、 教学内容分析:
本课课文以贝蒂的口吻讲述了她在美国昆西小镇的生活。课文包含了地理、历史、社会和家庭环境等方面的内容,不过总体而言是关于贝蒂生活的描述,正如课文标题所言的“My life in Quincy”。这篇文章介绍的主要是个人生活,采取了从社会、家庭、朋友的角度来贝蒂在昆西的生活进行描写;第一、二段描述了昆西的社会生活,镇上有电影院、商店等,还出现过两位总统。第三、四段描述了贝蒂的家庭生活,我们可以读到贝蒂的家是什么样子,甚至能了解她房间的装饰;最后一段描述了贝蒂与朋友的交往,文章最后说到贝蒂盼望回到昆西,不过吸引她回去的不是昆西的社会生活环境,也不是她家的老房子,而是她的朋友。本模块的话题任务是能用动词 “be” 的过去式介绍个人的过去生活。同学们互相回顾彼此的童年生活,增进了同学之间的相互了解,并提高沟通交流能力。
二、 学情分析:
童年生活充满了很多美好的回忆,谈论小时候家乡,以及小学的事情是学生之间经常交流的话题,也是他们非常感兴趣的话题。在第一模块
本模块选择“过去生活”作为话题,不仅仅是因为学生对此感兴趣,更重要的是借此话题介绍不同国家同龄人的难忘童年生活,这就为本模块的开展奠定了情感基础。这是学生第一次接触英语中的过去时态。学生在第一单元对于含有动词“be(was/were)的一般过去时已经进行了系统地学习、练习和简单的综合运用,这就为本节阅读课的顺利开展扫除了必要的障碍,奠定了良好的知识基础。
