2021年6月大学英语四级翻译备考(5)在谈到翻译的语序问题时，除了常用的顺序，逆序之外，有时也需要对语序进行变更或调整。
这里从定语，状语两方面给大家作一简单总结。
1) 定语位置的调整汉语的定语，无论是单用还是几个连用，通常都放在所修饰的名词之前。
而在英语里，单词作定语时，一般放在所修饰的中心词之前，词组，短语和从句作定语时，则放在所修饰的名词之后。
汉语的定语译成英语时，有的可能是单词，有的可能是短语，有的可能是从句。
对这些成分的安排，要依据英语的语言习惯来处理。
反之亦然。
例1 实现我国社会主义现代化是一项我们必须努力完成的任务。
译文: The socialist modernization of our country is a task that we must do our utmost to fulfill.汉语中作“现代化”定语的“社会主义”在英语中只需要一个单词socialist 就可以表明，按照英语的习惯，放在所修饰的中心词modernization之前。
但是原文中“我国”翻成英语就不是简简单单的一个词了，而是一个介词短语of our country，置于中心词“现代化”之后，成为后置定语。
英译时，“任务”的定语“努力完成的”是一个从句that we must do our utmost to fulfil，按照英语习惯，应放在所修饰的中心词task之后。
例2 She was very happy to meet the artist who painted the picture.译文: 她很高兴能够遇到那幅画的艺术家。
全句的宾语是“艺术家”，英语里修饰the artist的成分在the artist之后，这是英语表达习惯所规定的。
但是转换成汉语时，就必须把定语修饰成分提前到中心词“艺术家”之前。
2）状语位置的调整汉语中状语习惯于放在主语之后，谓语之前。
但有时为了强调也可以放在主语之前。

" 做某事有困难 " 中,这时, trouble 可以用 difficulty 来代替。
英语四级考试考前必知：5个翻译技巧①在翻译前，先确定可以正确理解文章意思。
即便遇到很难的说法，也可以先变成简单的中文再进行翻译。
如：年夜饭译：The annual reunion dinner析：指过年的那顿团圆饭，每年一次。
所以在翻译时要表达出这个团聚的含义②中文没有过去式，但是英文有啊，别忘记翻译时态的转换如：我在第一段说过，我刚从大学毕业。
译：As I said in my first paragraph, I was fresh from college。
析：中文的时态是依赖一些汉字表达，英文根据动词的变化形式展示。
文中的“过”英文采用一般过去时翻译③有些介词可能会帮到忙，比如with+ 名词的结构，就很多见。
如：这里有许多山脉，生长着大片的森林，贮藏着丰富的矿产。
译：There are mountain ranges here with extensive forests and rich mineral resources。
析：生长和储藏这两个动词在译文中并没有以动词的形式翻译，转译为英文的介词④应用英语的固定句型，这些句式可以加分，绝对是亮点如：是巴斯德发现了疾病是由活着的病菌引起的。
译：It was Pasteur who discovered that diseases are caused by living germs。
析：此句应用了英文的强调句进行翻译⑤分析上下句之间的逻辑关系，添加一些简单的连词，英文的译文会更漂亮。
如：汽油贵得惊人，我们就很少用车。
译：Because the price of gasoline was fantastically high, we seldom used our cars。
析：在原文中并没有出现表示原因类的词汇，但是在译文中根据两个句子之间的逻辑关系添加了表示原因的从句连词四六级复习秘笈:一、词类转译技巧在翻译过程中，有些句子可以逐词对译，有些句子则由于英汉两种语言的表达方式不同，就不能逐词对译，只能将词类进行转译之后，方可使译文显得通顺、自然；对词类转译技巧的运用须从四个方面加以注意。
1.这种植物只有在培育它的土壤中才能很好地成长。
（other than）.2.研究结果表明，无论我们白天做了什么事情，晚上都会做大约两个小时的梦。
（may have done）3.有些人往往责怪别人没有尽最大努力，以此来为自己的失败辩护。
(justify sth. by)4.我们忠于我们的承诺：凡是答应做的，我们都会做到。
(remain true to)5.连贝多芬的父亲都不相信自己的儿子日后有一天可能成为世界上最伟大的音乐家。
爱迪生也同样如此，他的老师觉得他似乎过于迟钝。
(discount;be true of)6.当局控告他们威胁国家安全。
(accuse sb. of sth.)UNIT21.要是这部喜剧中的人物更幽默些的话，就会吸引更多的观众。
(if…had +past participle ,would +have +past participle)2.她从未对自己的能力失去信心，因此她有可能成为一名成功的演员。
(it is a possibility to)3.我从未受过正式培训，我只是边干边学。
(go along)4.随着产品进入国际市场，他们的品牌知名度越来越高了。
