一、教学内容分析
这是本单元的第六课时,本课时是一篇阅读内容。重在复习本单元重点内容:运用现在进行时询问并回答某人正在做某事;该部分内容分为读、写两部分:第一部分要求学生阅读一个小文段,第二部分看图完成句子填空。
二、学情分析
本课的教学对象是学过两年多英语的五年级学生,此阶段学生仍旧天真活泼,好奇心强,有较强的模仿能力和求知欲望,而且富有一定的逻辑思维能力。
在本单元前五课时中,学生已经学习了动词的现在进行式形式,并能运用现在进行时询问并回答某人正在做某事。
三、教学目标
(一)、知识目标:
1、能读出并理解新单词或词组the world robot exhibition,making sushi,
Canadian, Spain,Spanish等词
2、能在图片的帮助下读懂小短文,
3、能够在图片的帮助下,并根据对话内容完成句子填空练习。(Read and write)
(二)、能力目标:
1.能够初步理解并尝试运用通过关键词(key words)或关键句(key
sentences)进行阅读判断的技巧。
2.能仔细读图并获得相关信息
3能模仿录音表演自己喜欢的片段
4.能用所学写一写自己的robot,并能很好地进行小组活动。
四、教学重难点
1. 重点:能熟练地运用本单元所学词汇、句型进行交流2.难点:句子Sarah and
Robin are talking to the Spanish robot.的talking的理解 五、教学准备
词卡,单词,练习纸,PPT,投影等。
六、教学步骤
Step1.Greeting and warm up
Good morning, boys and girls./Nice to meet you. I’m your new English teacher ,
Ms Li. Hello, boys and girls./Hello, Miss Li. Let’s enjoy a video and try to
remember :What are they doing?
通过简单的师生交流进入今天的学习主题现在是个视听的时代,动听课前播放机器人各种动作视频,为后面教学做铺垫,精彩有趣的视频总能吸引人的眼球,在课前播放这个内容也是想达到这一目的。这块内容是为了激发学生有关ing词组及句子等旧知,为后面的教学做铺垫。
Step2.Presentaion
1. T:What is she/he doing? Ss: He’s/She’s……
T:What are they doing? Ss: They are……Work in pairs.

3. Act and guess

4. Learn robots from different countries.
Guess, what is this robot from? He is from China. He is a Chinese robot.(Teach:
Spain /Spanish, Canada/Canadian, USA/American)
Look, he’s a______ robot. 学生也许会说good, cool, funny. 教师课件圈出图片信息,学生也许会说a China’s robot, 教师Yes, he’s from China. He’s Chinese robot.
接着让学生看图说出其它图片(a/an)_______robot(s),并通过读图了解并会读a
Canadian robot, a Spanish robot.
情景图是一个很强大的教学资源,是无声的语言,有时却能给你超乎文字所能给你的感受。所以文本前我借用情景图解决部分知识点,为顺利进入文本铺好路。 5. Learn the context
Before reading : Listen to rhe tape and answer the questions: What is Alaska doing?

underline the key words or sentences, and then fill in the blanks.
