但是，有些教师不顾实际情况，生搬硬套，机械地运用整体阅读教学模式，一个环节不敢少，一个步骤不颠倒，这种固步自封的做法导致阅读课教学环节雷同的现象非常严重，几乎每节阅读课都包括导入（Lead-in）、扫读（Scanning）、略读（Skimming）、细读（Careful Ｒeading）、深度阅读（Ｆurther Ｒeading）和拓展（Ｅxtension）等几个固定环节。

这种模式化的公开课根本没有学习和借鉴的价值，教师们都不愿意去听。
