Book Report: Oxford English Textbook for 7th Grade (Second

Semester)

Hey guys! I wanted to share my thoughts on the English

textbook we've been using this semester. It's the Oxford edition,

and honestly, it's been a bit of a rollercoaster ride! Let me break

it down for you.

Unit 1: Festivals and Celebrations

This unit was all about different festivals and celebrations

around the world. We learned about everything from Christmas

and Thanksgiving to Diwali and the Chinese New Year. It was

pretty cool to explore the diverse traditions and customs that

people observe. The readings were interesting, but some of the

vocabulary was a bit tricky to nail down. Words like "festivities"

and "revelry" had me scratching my head at first!
