Ⅰ. Material analysis

The main activities in this class are 1a, 2a and 3. Through Wang

Junfeng and Jane talking about school supplies in the classroom, with the

help of pictures and objects, guide students to master the expression of

identifying objects, asking and answering word spelling, such as: "What's

this / that in English? It's a / an... How do you spell it? Can you spell it,

please? And learn the differences between demonstrative pronouns this /

that, article a / an, and the dialogue to express request expression. In

addition, this lesson will provide exercises for writing rules such as

capital letters and punctuation in English sentences.

3. Point out some numbers and let some students read them in English.

Step 2 Pre – listening

1.Point a desk to students and say: “What’s this in English?”(老师解释:用英语说这是什么?). Present /desk/ and teach the word for several

times;

Then ask, “How do you spell it?”(老师解释:你怎样拼写它?)Teach

the sentence for several times;

Spell it, “D-E-S-K, desk” and let students follow the teacher for one time;

2. Ask students to practice the sentences: “What’s this in English?”

“How do you spell it?”

Step 3 While –listening

1. Listen to 1a and finish 1b.

2. Check answer together.

3. Read 1a together after the tape.

Step 4 Post- listening Work in group.

Finish 1c in group.

Step 5 Practice

1. Listen to 2a three times.

2. Check 2a together.

3. Finish 2b and 3.
