driver就是"司机"。

那么,坐在后面座位上的人怎么能开车呢?这就是backseat driver作为习语的意思了。

开车的技术当然每个人都不一样,但一般来说,开车的人都不太喜欢别人对他指指点点,教他怎么开,怎么走。

坐在后面的人本来满可以轻松地聊天,看风景,只要开车的人把你安全地带到目的地去不就完了吗?可是,偏偏有的人坐在后面还不甘心,老是要给开车的人不断地提出没有必要的指导、警告或批评。

另外,有的时候,一个词汇有好几种解释。
