Task部分融合了听、说、读、写、练五部分，体现了英语工具性和人文性相结合的特点，但是在教学实际中，教师也遇到了一些新的困惑。

每个单元由七个部分组成（Welcome to the unit， Reading，Word power， Grammar and usage， Task， Project， Self-assessment），Task板块是从语言输入逐步过渡到综合能力输出的过程，相对于其他板块，它对学生的能力要求更高。

但是在教学实际中，新的课程理念和新的教材也给教师带来了一些新的困惑。

每个单元的Task板块都设置了一个与本单元话题有关的任务，一个任务分三步走，每个小任务前还有一个技能训练或指导，是新课程标准倡导的“任务型”教学模式的体现。

例如，模块七第一单元Task1：Listening for problems and causes.在复习完问题与原因的常用表达方式以后，听两个录音，进一步增强对这些表达的理解和运用。

Task2 Discussing in groups.让学生规范提建议，征询观点，赞同与反对，得出结论的表达方式，要求学生彼此讨论，进一步陈述对建议的认识，并口述简短的建议书。

Task3：Writing a proposal.复习英语基本句型，让学生看一则建议书，理解简单的句型，通过不同的排列组合可以产生强大的语言效果，即建议书的有效性。
