礼节在每一种文化或者每一种场合中是不同的,如果我们看到有些人违反这些规则,你又会怎么样呢?在世界一体化的今天,这样一篇文章无疑是有必要的教育。
如何在一节课的时间里,既要完成即定的阅读内容,又能形成相应的阅读策略,并陶冶情操?我以“整体阅读”理论为基础,创设恰当的情景,引入话题,激活探究活动,在合作学习中感受并掌握有效地阅读技能。
一、教材内容分析(Learning Content)
1.本课时Unit 7第5课时,核心话题为:Etiquette(礼节)。
2.本课对“有礼貌的发出请求”2个句型进行的知识扩展和实际运用,使同学们认识到礼节在日常生活中的具体运用。
3.学会运用阅读技巧:找主题句(Learn to find topic sentences to help understand what the paragraph is about.)。
4.教材中所给内容形式:阅读,对话。
综上所述,本课课型为——阅读讨论课。
二、学情分析(Knowing Students)
1.我校是一所农村中学,学生淳朴本分,懂得关爱他人,但家长对学生的学习不够关注,学生学习比较被动闭,接受信息量少,接受能力相对较差,两级分化明显,因此需要教师在教学过程中有所兼顾。
2. 通过前4个课时对Would you mind turning down the music? 的学习,学生已经具备一定使用“有礼貌的发出请求”的句型——would you mind ?;Could you please ?的能力。
同时,初中生对礼貌行为和不礼貌行为大多有了自己的判断,这都为学习阅读奠定了基础。
3.本课在PRE-READING环节中文本要求通过查找单词“etiquette”来帮组学生学会用字典,从而为学习英语打开新的一扇门。
同时根据课文中已有的图片要求学生说出那些违反礼仪的行为,为进入这堂课做好准备。
