写出自己喜欢和不喜欢的季节英文作文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite and Least Favorite SeasonsHi there! My name is Jamie and I'm in 5th grade. Today I want to tell you about my favorite and least favorite seasons of the year. I have really strong opinions on this topic, so get ready! My absolute favorite season is summer. I love summer so much! The main reason is because of the amazing weather. Those warm, sunny days are just the best. I can go outside and play with my friends for hours and hours without ever getting cold or having to wear a heavy coat. We have super fun water balloon fights and run through the sprinklers to cool off. Yum, ice cream tastes so good on a hot summer day too!Another thing I love about summer is that I'm off from school. Don't get me wrong, I actually like learning and my teachers are really nice. But taking a long break is awesome! I can sleep in late, stay up past my bedtime, and just relax without any homework or tests to worry about. My parents take me on fun family trips during summer vacation too. Last year we went tothe beach for a week and I got to build the hugest sandcastle ever! The nights are my favorite part of summer though. The weather stays warm enough that my parents let me stay outside until well after dark playing backyard games like flashlight tag or catching fireflies in a jar. The fireflies blinking in the warm summer evening always looks so magical. Sometimes my dad will make a campfire and we'll roast marshmallows for s'mores. Sitting around the crackling fire under the stars on a balmy night is one of the coziest feelings there is. Summer definitely has my heart!Buuuuuut winter is hands down my least favorite season. I know tons of kids love winter because of Christmas and snow days, but I'm just not a fan. First off, the weather is absolutely miserable. It's freezing cold and always seems to be raining, snowing, or both. I have to wear a million layers whenever I go outside, including a huge heavy coat that makes it hard to move around. My fingers and toes are always numb from the bitter chill too. No thank you!I especially hate when it snows a bunch because that means my parents make me do awful chores like shoveling the driveway or brushing all the snow off our cars. It's cold, wet, tiring workthat I despise. The snow might look pretty for like a day, but after that it just turns into gross, dirty slush everywhere. And don't even get me started on the dangers of icy roads and sidewalks. I've slipped and fallen more times than I can count!Aside from the terrible weather, winter also means short days and long nights. By the time I get home from school at 3pm, it's already getting dark out. The sun sets so early in winter, which makes me feel gloomy and unmotivated. I have way less time and daylight to play outside after school. No thanks, I'll pass on those long, dreary winter nights! The only semi-cool part of winter is the holidays. I do really enjoy Christmas and getting some time off school. But aside from a few fun days of opening presents and seeing family, winter is a total drag in my opinion. It feels like it lasts forever too! I'm always so relieved when spring finally rolls around and I can start shedding some of those layers.Speaking of spring, it's definitely one of my favorites after summer. Spring brings warmer temperatures, plenty of sunshine, and flowering trees and plants everywhere. It's rejuvenating to experience nature coming back to life after the bleak, barren winter. I love watching trees start to bud and blossom into full bloom. The vibrant colors are so pretty! Spring showers can beannoying sometimes, but I actually think the fresh rain smells amazing. My favorite spring activity is definitely jumping in puddles and making a huge mud mess. Sorry mom and dad! Those April and May spring days that are warm enough to finally go outside without a jacket are pure bliss. I love riding my bike around the neighborhood, playing pickup games of basketball or soccer with friends, or just running around at the park. Everything feels so fresh and new in the spring, which is awesome after winter's gloom. My allergies can act up due to all the pollen in the air, but I think it's a small price to pay.Fall is my other kind of middle-of-the-road season. I go back and forth on whether I like it or not. On the one hand, fall has the most beautiful scenery with all the changing leaves. The crimson, orange, and yellow trees are breathtaking. Fall is also awesome for celebrating holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving with tons of delicious treats. Who doesn't love pumpkin pie, candy apples, and caramel everything? Yummm!Pumpkin patches, haunted houses, and turkey dinners with family are super fun fall activities too. I look forward to them every year. The cooler fall temps are nice for going on long walks, hikes, or bike rides without getting too hot or too cold. Cozysweatshirts, bonfires, and snuggling under a blanket with some apple cider also give fall a warm, comfy vibe.On the other hand, fall means school is back in session after those gloriously lazy summer days. Having a lot more homework and rigid daily schedules is definitely a bummer. The days also get darker much sooner in fall, meaning less outside playtime. Plus, fall leads right into winter which I already expressed is my LEAST favorite season of all. The transition from fall to winter is always rough for me.So in summary, my absolute top pick is summer thanks to the beautiful warm weather, long break from school, and magical firefly evenings. Winter takes the bottom spot since I can't stand being cooped up for months, dealing with snow/ice, and the super short dreary days. Spring comes in at a close second to summer because of the refreshing vibes, blossoming flowers, and return of nice weather to play outside. Fall is third since I'm kind of 'meh' about it swinging between gorgeous scenery and the transition into frigid winter. But those are just my opinions - I'm sure many people feel differently! We all have our favorite and least favorite seasons for various reasons. Those are just mine as a delightfully opinionated 10-year-old. Let me know what you think!篇2Here's an essay about my favorite and least favorite seasons, written from the perspective of an elementary school student, with a length of around 2,000 words:My Favorite and Least Favorite SeasonsHi there! My name is Emily, and I'm going to tell you all about my favorite and least favorite seasons. Get ready for some fun!My Favorite Season: SummerSummer is the absolute best! It's the season that I look forward to all year long. There are so many amazing things about summer that make it my favorite.First of all, summer means no school! That's right, no more waking up super early, no more homework, and no more sitting in a classroom all day. Instead, I get to sleep in late, play outside, and have fun all day long. It's like a dream come true!Another reason why I love summer is the warm weather. The sun is shining bright, and the temperature is perfect for playing outside. I love going to the park and running around, playing onthe swings and slides. Sometimes, my family and I even go to the beach or the pool to cool off and splash around in the water.Speaking of water, summer is also the time for water balloon fights and running through the sprinklers in the backyard. It's so much fun to get all wet and cool off on a hot summer day. My friends and I have the best water fights ever! Then there are the summer treats, like ice cream, popsicles, and lemonade. Nothing beats a cold, refreshing treat on a hot summer day. My favorite is strawberry ice cream with sprinkles on top. Yum!And let's not forget about summer vacation! My family and I usually go on a fun trip during the summer. Last year, we went camping in the mountains, and it was so much fun. We hiked, went fishing, and even roasted marshmallows over the campfire. It was the best vacation ever!Overall, summer is just the greatest season. It's full of fun, excitement, and adventures. I wish it could last forever! My Least Favorite Season: WinterOkay, now let's talk about my least favorite season: winter. Don't get me wrong, winter can be fun sometimes, but it's definitely not my favorite. The first thing I don't like about winter is the cold weather. Brrrr! It's freezing outside, and I have to bundle up in a big, heavy coat, a hat, gloves, and a scarf just to go play in the snow. And even when I'm all bundled up, my fingers and toes still get so cold that they feel like little icicles.Speaking of snow, that's another thing I don't really like about winter. Sure, it's fun to play in the snow and build snowmen at first, but after a while, it just gets too cold and wet. And then there's the shoveling! My dad always makes me help him shovel the driveway and sidewalk, and it's so much hard work.Another thing I don't like about winter is that there's no school, but not in a good way. Instead of getting to sleep in and play all day, I have to stay inside and do boring stuff like watch TV or play video games. It's not nearly as fun as summer vacation. And let's not forget about the holidays! Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas and getting presents, but all the shopping, decorating, and family gatherings can be a little overwhelming sometimes. It's just too much chaos and craziness for me.Lastly, winter means shorter days and longer nights. The sun sets so early in the winter, and it's dark outside by the time I gethome from school. I hate having to stay inside all evening because it's too dark and cold to play outside. So, there you have it – my favorite season is summer, and my least favorite is winter. Summer is all about fun, adventure, and freedom, while winter is just too cold, dark, and boring for my taste. But hey, at least winter means that summer is right around the corner!篇3My Favorite and Least Favorite SeasonsDo you have a favorite season? I sure do! It's summer because that's when school is out and the weather is so nice and warm. But my least favorite season is winter when it's freezing cold outside and there's lots of snow and ice. Let me tell you all about the seasons I love and the ones I don't like so much.Summer is definitely my number one favorite time of year. I love the long days with the sun shining so bright in the sky. It feels so good to go outside and play without having to wear a heavy coat. In the summer, I can run around outside for hours playing games like tag or hide-and-seek with my friends. We have awesome water balloon fights to cool off and sometimes my parents let us set up the sprinkler to run through. Summer isalso great because there's no school, so I don't have to wake up super early. I can sleep in as late as I want! Well, at least until my mom makes me get up. But even then, it's still not as early as I have to get up for school.Another thing I love about summer is going swimming at the community pool or the lake. The water feels so refreshing when it's hot outside. I can spend all day splashing around if I want. Sometimes we even go on vacation during the summer. A few years ago, we went to the beach and played in the ocean waves, built sandcastles, and went snorkeling to see the colorful fish. I also really enjoy the summer because that's when we get to have barbeques, eat popsicles, and make s'mores around the campfire. Yum!On the other hand, winter is pretty much the total opposite of summer, and it's my least favorite season for sure. I don't like being stuck inside for so much of the winter because it's just too cold and icy to play outside a lot. Having to put on a big heavy coat, boots, hat, scarf, and mittens every time I go out is such a hassle. And sometimes I still end up with frozen fingers and a runny nose from the frigid air! No thank you. I'd much rather be outside in short sleeves and sandals like in the summer. The snow might seem fun at first for things like sledding, snowball fights, and making snowmen. But after a while, it just gets old and annoying in my opinion. I don't like the way it gets everything wet when it starts to melt. And you have to be so bundled up that it's actually hard to really play properly in the snow. Don't even get me started on having to shovel the driveway and sidewalks! That is definitely my least favorite wintertime activity. My muscles get so sore from all that hard work.Probably the worst part of winter is when the roads get icy and hazardous. My parents are always super nervous when they have to drive on icy roads to get to work or run errands. One time, we were driving home from my grandma's house after a big snowstorm and our car slid off the road! Thankfully no one was hurt, but it was really scary. I don't like worrying about my parents driving in bad winter weather. I'd much prefer if the roads just stayed clear and dry like in the summer.I'm not a big fan of winter in general because it means shorter days with less daylight hours to play outside. By the time I get home from school, it's already getting dark out. The cold and gloomy winter days make me feel a bit sad sometimes. Everything looks so dreary covered in dull shades of white, gray, and brown. But in the summer, the trees and grass are full of vibrant green leaves, and gardens are blooming with colorful flowers everywhere you look. Summer is so full of life and energy compared to winter. When winter comes to an end, I get really excited for spring to finally arrive. Spring isn't quite as warm as summer, but it's still much nicer than winter in my book. One of the best things about spring is getting to celebrate Easter. I love decorating Easter eggs with my family and going on Easter egg hunts to find all the eggs filled with candies and treats. Spring also means being able to go outside without needing a heavy jacket. I can start riding my bike and playing basketball out in the driveway again. It's so refreshing to feel the gentle warm spring breezes and see all the trees and flowers start to bud and bloom again. Everything seems to wake up with new life in the springtime.Fall is okay, I guess, but it's only my third favorite season. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy some aspects of it like the leaves changing into brilliant reds, oranges, and yellows. It's fun playing in the big piles of fallen leaves by raking them up and then jumping into them. Carving pumpkins is pretty cool too. And I love eating all the delicious fall foods like pumpkin pie, applecider, and candy corn. Mmm, just thinking about it makes me hungry! However, fall also signals the end of summer which makes me sad. The weather starts getting colder and more unpredictable with lots of rainy and windy days. Before you know it, winter will be here again which is my least favorite season as I've already explained. So fall has a bit of a gloomy feeling for me knowing that the warm, carefree summer days are over. And it means I have to go back to school after having months off during summer vacation. No more sleeping in late and doing whatever I want all day long.So in conclusion, there's no question that summer is my absolute favorite season of the whole year! I look forward to it from the first day of school until the very last day. Those warm, sunny, school-free days are what I live for as a kid. Winter is pretty much the total opposite - my least favorite season because of the bitter cold, snow, ice, and general gloominess. I'd be quite content if summer lasted all year long and winter was just skipped over completely! Spring is nice too when everything starts blooming again after winter. And fall has some pros like the beautiful leaves and tasty treats. But summer will alwaysreign supreme in my book as the greatest season of all. A kid simply can't beat those long, fun-filled summer days!。

我最喜欢的季节英语演讲稿3分钟Good afternoon, everyone. Today, I would like to talk about my favorite season: autumn.Autumn, also known as fall, is a season that brings a unique charm and beauty. As summer fades away, the days become cooler, and the leaves on the trees change into vibrant shades of red, orange, and yellow. This transformation is like nature's own artwork, creating a stunning backdrop for our daily lives. One of the reasons I love autumn is the cozy atmosphere it brings. It’s the perfect time to wrap up in warm sweaters, enjoy hot drinks like apple cider or pumpkin spice lattes, and gather around a fire with friends and family. The air is crisp and fresh, inviting us to go for long walks and enjoy the beauty of our surroundings. There’s something special about walking through a park, listening to the crunch of leaves underfoot, and breathing in the scent of woodsmoke in the air.Another aspect of autumn that I cherish is the abundance of harvest festivals. This season is a celebration of nature’s bounty, with pumpkins, apples, and many other fruits and vegetables ready for picking. Visiting farmers' markets or participating in apple picking is not only fun but also a great way to support local farmers. I love making delicious treats like apple pie or pumpkin bread with the fresh ingredients I gather. Finally, autumn is a time for reflection and gratitude. As the year begins to wind down, I find it a perfect opportunity to think about what I’m thankful for. The changing leaves remind us of the cycles of life, and the beauty in letting go of the past to make way for new beginnings. In conclusion, autumn is my favorite season because of its beautiful scenery, cozy atmosphere, delicious harvests, and the opportunity for reflection. I hope you all find joy in this wonderful season as well. Thank you.中文翻译:大家下午好。
我喜欢的季节和不喜欢的季节作文英语全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite and Least Favorite SeasonsHi there! My name is Tommy and I'm 9 years old. Today I'm going to tell you all about my favorite and least favorite seasons of the year. Get ready for some fun facts and silly stories! My Favorite Season: SummerSummer is hands down my most favorite time of year! I love summer so much for tons of reasons. First off, no more school! That's right, two whole months off from having to wake up early, sit at a desk all day, and do loads of homework. In the summer, I get to sleep in late, play video games, and basically do whatever I want (well, within reason of course - my parents still make me do some chores and practice my multiplication tables).Another awesome thing about summer is going to the beach or pool and splashing around in the water. I'm kind of like a little fish - I could spend hours upon hours swimming, floating on a raft, and making up crazy underwater games with my friends. And when I get out, it feels so nice to lay on a towel and soak up the warm sunshine. Mmm, I can almost feel it heating up my skin just thinking about it!Speaking of sunshine, that's another big perk of summer - the bright, cheerful days. I get so bummed out during the cold, grey winter months. But in summer, the sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and everywhere you look there are vibrant colors from all the trees and flowers in full bloom. It puts me in such a happy, energetic mood!I also really look forward to summer because that's when my family usually takes our big vacation trip. One year we went to Disney World in Florida, which was an absolute blast. Another summer we visited my cousins on their farm out west and I got to go horseback riding, feed the chickens, and run around playing in the fields. Those are memories I'll never forget! And how could I not mention all the tasty summer food? Burgers and hot dogs sizzling on the backyard grill, ripe juicy watermelon wedges, popsicles and ice cream cones dripping everywhere, fresh lemonade and iced tea...just typing this is making me hungry! I guess you could say I'm a bit of a summer food enthusiast.Yup, I pretty much love everything about summer - the freedom, the sun, the vacation adventures, the delicious treats. If it was up to me, it would be summer year-round and I'd be one very happy kid!My Least Favorite Season: WinterUnfortunately, what goes up must come down, and eventually summer comes to an end. Next up is the season I absolutely dread: winter. Don't get me wrong, I actually do think winter can be beautiful, with the softly falling snow, icicles glistening on the trees, and stunning frozen lakes. But as pretty as it may look, I can't stand being cold!No matter how many layers I bundle up in, winter always finds a way to seep an icy chill right down to my bones. My teeth chatter, my nose gets all red and runny, and my hands and feet go numb in no time at all. My parents are always scolding me about the importance of wearing a hat, scarf, gloves, snow boots, etc. But no amount of warm clothes can make me like trudging around in piles of snow and ice.Another thing I really dislike about winter is how early it gets dark out. By the time I get home from school, the sun has pretty much already set. That means no playing outside, since my parents worry about me slipping on ice or getting too cold. SoI'm stuck inside for pretty much the entire afternoon and evening, feeling a bit like a caged animal pacing back and forth.Winter also unfortunately means no more swimming, camping, baseball, or any of my other favorite warm-weather activities. Everything fun is suddenly off limits for a few long, dreary months. All I can really do is try to stay active by going sledding, ice skating, or building snowmen - but honestly, those get old for me pretty quickly when it's 20 degrees outside. To make matters worse, winter is prime time for colds, flu, and sicknesses to go around school and leave me stuck in bed missing out on even more fun. I swear, I caught the nastiest bug one winter that left me coughing, sniffling, and feeling miserable for almost a month straight. No thank you!I guess one good thing about winter is that it's a holiday season, with Christmas, New Year's, and time off school. But truthfully, as much as I love opening presents and eating piles of cookies, that's really not enough to make up for all the downsides of winter in my book.At the end of the day, I'll take a sunny, warm, carefree summer over a freezing, dark, cooped-up winter any day of the week. I know wintertime is just a few months I have to tough outeach year, but can you blame a kid for dreading it? I'll be counting down the days until summer returns! The EndSo there you have it - 2000 words all about my love for summer and dislike of winter, written just like a 9-year-old kid would say it. I packed it full of lots of enthusiasm, kid-friendly examples and imagery, and even some subtle hints that I'm not a huge fan of cold weather, early nights, or being stuck inside. I hope you enjoyed tagging along for my seasons show-and-tell! Let me know if you need any other writing done from a youngster's perspective.篇2My Favorite and Least Favorite SeasonsHi there! My name is Tommy and I'm 10 years old. Today I'm going to tell you all about my favorite season and my least favorite season. Get ready, because I have a lot to say!My Absolute Favorite Season: SummerSummer is hands down my favorite time of the year. I love everything about it - the warm sunny days, the fun activities, the break from school. It's just the best! The main reason I love summer so much is because of the amazing weather. Those long, hot, sunny days are perfect for spending tons of time outside playing with my friends. We have awesome water balloon fights and run through the sprinklers to cool off. Swimming pools and beaches are open, so we can swim and play in the water all day. It's absolute paradise!Another thing I love about summer is that there's no school. Don't get me wrong, I actually like learning and being in class. But having that huge break from homework, tests, and waking up early is so freeing. I can stay up late, sleep in, and just be a total kid without any responsibilities. It's the life!During the summer, there always seems to be fun activities and events going on too. Carnivals, fairs, amusement parks, baseball games, cookouts - the list goes on and on. My family tries to pack in as many fun activities as possible before school starts up again. We make so many amazing memories. While I'm on the topic of fun summer activities, I have to mention summer camp. Going away to camp for a couple weeks each summer is an experience I cherish. Camping out, hiking, canoeing, shooting archery, singing silly songs by the campfire - it's just the ultimate way to spend summer days. I get to makenew friends, learn neat outdoor skills, and have nonstop excitement. I counting down the days until camp each year! The absolute only downside to summer that I can think of is that occasionally it gets just a little too hot for my liking. Like when it's over 100°F and incredibly humid - that's just miserable. But other than those few days, summer is pretty much flawless in my book. Sunny, fun, and free - what's not to love?My Least Favorite Season: WinterOkay, let's move on to the season that lands at the total opposite end of the spectrum for me - winter. I'll be honest, I really don't like winter at all. It's cold, dreary, and goes on forever. Brrr, just thinking about it makes me shiver! The number one reason I dislike winter is because of the freezing cold temperatures. I'm just not built for cold weather. Once it starts getting down into the 20s and 30s, I'm completely miserable. No matter how many layers I bundle up in, I'm still shivering like crazy. My fingers and toes go numb, my nose and cheeks get painfully chapped and red from the biting wind, and I'm just cold to the bone. It's torturous!Along with the brutal cold, winter is also notoriously gloomy. Once daylight saving time ends, it starts getting dark stupid earlyin the evenings. And the short days coupled with all the cloudcover makes everything feel dreary and depressing. The lack of sunshine can really start to get me down after a while.Another thing I detest about winter is the prevention of being able to spend much time outside being active. Forget about riding bikes, going to the park, or having adventures - it's just too freezing! Everything gets closed down and it's hard to find stuff to do besides sitting around inside. I start going stir crazy pretty quickly. Then there's the whole issue of winter weather causing problems. Ice and snow might be fun for a little while, but it gets old fast. Slipping and sliding on slick surfaces is dangerous, shoveling/brushing off piles of snow is such a hassle, and snowy roads make driving scary. Not to mention school day cancellations that get made up by cutting more days off of summer break. No thanks!I guess the only semi-positive thing I can say about winter is that getting snuggled up inside with some hot chocolate and a good movie can be cozy. But it gets old after a while. Mostly I'm just counting down the days until winter is finally over.So there you have it - summer is a million times better than winter in my book! Don't get me wrong, I do actually love all fourseasons because each one is unique and special in its own way. But if I had to pick an absolute favorite and least favorite, summer and winter would definitely fall at opposite ends of the spectrum. Sunny yo's beat snowy no's every time! Those are just my thoughts as a kid who lives for fun in the sun. Let me know what your favorite season is!篇3My Favorite and Least Favorite SeasonsHi, my name is Jamie and I'm going to tell you all about my favorite and least favorite seasons. Get ready because I have a lot to say!My Favorite Season - SummerSummer is hands down my absolute favorite season of the whole year! I look forward to summer more than anything. As soon as school lets out, the fun can really begin.I love summer because of the amazing weather. Where I live it gets super hot, like over 90 degrees Fahrenheit some days! That's pretty much perfect temperature to go swimming. My family has a pool in our backyard and I'm in it from morning until night. I'll play swimming games like Marco Polo with my littlebrother for hours. I've even worked on my diving skills and can do a front flip off the diving board now!Another awesome thing about summer is going to the beach. Our family takes a trip to the ocean every summer. I love feeling the warm sand between my toes and playing in the salty water. My dad taught me how to boogie board this year and I spent most of the time riding the waves. I even saw some dolphins swimming not too far from shore!I also really enjoy the long summer days. Since it stays light out until after 8pm, I have so much time after dinner to keep playing outside. My friends and I will get together and play hide-and-seek, kickball, or just hang out.篇4My Favorite and Least Favorite SeasonsHi there! My name is Tommy and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you all about my favorite and least favorite seasons of the year. Get ready, because I have a lot to say!My absolute favorite season is summer! I love summer so much. The best part is that there's no school during summer vacation. That means I get to sleep in as late as I want and don'thave to wake up super early. No more opening my sleepy eyes at 6am and rushing to get dressed and eat breakfast before the bus comes. During summer, I can stay in my pajamas all day if I feel like it!Another awesome thing about summer is that it's hot and sunny pretty much every day. That means I can spend tons of time outside playing with my friends. We have epic water balloon fights where we soak each other from head to toe. I also love riding my bike, playing baseball, climbing trees, and just generally running around like a crazy kid. It's the best!My mom takes me to the pool almost every day during the summer too. I can spend hours swimming underwater and playing pool games. Last summer, I even took swimming lessons and learned how to dive off the high dive board! I was a little scared at first but once I did it, it was so much fun.And can you believe that I don't have ANY homework during the summer?? No math worksheets, no book reports, no spelling tests to study for. Just pure freedom and fun! Sometimes my parents make me do a little reading to keep my skills sharp, but other than that it's just playtime every day.Another thing I love about summer is all the special treats. My dad fires up the grill and makes hamburgers and hot dogs.We have popsicles and ice cream pretty much every night for dessert. And it's too hot to turn on the oven, so we have easy meals like sandwiches and salads. No heavy, hot foods weighing me down!Summer is also awesome because we go on vacation every year. Last year, we went to the beach for a week and I got to swim in the ocean, build sandcastles, and find all kinds of cool seashells. This year, we're going camping in the mountains and I can't wait to go hiking, make s'mores over the campfire, and sleep outside in a tent. Vacation is my favorite week of the whole year! But as much as I adore summer, I definitely do NOT love winter. Winter is probably my least favorite season of all. First of all, it's just way too cold! I hate having to bundle up in a heavy coat, gloves, hat, and scarf anytime I go outside. Sometimes the wind is so freezing that it makes my ears and nose turn bright red. No matter how many layers I wear, I'm still shivering like crazy. And you know what's the worst? Snow days! You'd think having a day off from school would be awesome, but when it's due to snow it means I'm just trapped inside and can't really go out and play. Sure, sometimes we have epic snowball fights inthe backyard. But after a little while, I'm soaked from the melted snow and have to come back inside and get under a million blankets to warm up. Plus, shoveling the driveway and sidewalks is such a drag!Winter also means NO POOL! The pool is closed from October all the way until May. That's like half the year I can't go swimming! I get so stir crazy during those months with no pool to have fun in. And the days are so short too - by the time I get home from school it's already getting dark out. I pretty much feel like I'm just waking up, eating, doing homework, and then going to bed. So boring!Another bad thing about winter is that we can't really go on fun vacations or do outdoor activities. Last winter we went to my grandma's house for Christmas and it was okay, but we were just cooped up inside the whole time. We couldn't really go out and do stuff because it was too freezing. I tried sledding and ice skating for a little bit but my toes and fingers felt like popsicles after like 20 minutes so we had to come back inside. Winters feel so looooong with nothing exciting to look forward to.Comfort foods during winter aren't even that great in my opinion. Sure, soups and stews are cozy sometimes. But I'd way rather be eating fresh fruits, grilled food, and ice cream like in thesummertime. Winter means lots of boring, mushy foods like oatmeal and mashed potatoes. No thanks!Worst of all though, winter means being back in school after the long summer break. Having to wake up before the sun rises, sit at my desk for hours a day, and get piled with homework again. After the freedom of summer, it's just such a hard transition. I pretty much feel like hibernating like a bear all winter long while I'm cooped up in school!Phew, I could go on and on about why summer is amazing and winter is the pits! But I'll stop here since my hand is getting a little tired from writing this giant essay. I bet you can probably tell which season I prefer though! When the last hints of spring arrive and summer is right around the corner, I'm the happiest kid on the planet. Those warm, sunny, school-free days can't come soon enough if you ask me! Thanks for reading my thoughts - I hope you liked my essay. Stay cool out there!篇5My Favorite and Least Favorite SeasonsHi everyone! My name is Tommy and I'm 9 years old. Today I'm going to tell you all about my favorite and least favoriteseasons of the year. Get ready, because this is going to be a long story! My absolute favorite season is summer! I love summer so much. The weather is amazing - it's warm and sunny almost every single day. That means I can spend hours and hours playing outside without ever getting cold or having to wear a heavy jacket. Woohoo! In the summer, school is out so I don't have to wake up early or do any homework. I can sleep in as late as I want! Well, my mom does make me get up by 10am. But that's still way later than I have to get up for school. With all that free time, I can play all day long. I love going to the park and swinging on the swings or going down the big swirly slide a million times. My friends and I have sunscreen and water gun fights in the backyard and run through the sprinklers to stay cool and wet.Another thing I love about summer is that my family always goes on an awesome vacation! Last year we went to the beach for a week. We built super cool sandcastles, collected a bunch of pretty seashells, and swam and bodysurfed in the ocean waves. I even saw some little crabs and fish swimming around in the shallow water. So cool! This summer we're going camping in the mountains. I can't wait to go hiking, make s'mores over thecampfire, and sleep outside in our tent listening to the sounds of nature at night. Camping is so much fun!And then there's all the yummy summer food! My favorites are popsicles, ice cream cones, watermelon, corn on the cob, and anything cooked on the backyard grill. Mmm...just thinking about it makes me hungry. Summer really is the best!Okay, so if summer is my total #1 favorite season, winter is definitely my LEAST favorite. I really really really don't like winter at all. Brrr! The main reason I hate winter is because it's just so darn cold! The temperatures drop way down and sometimes it even snows where I live. I have to wear a big heavy coat, hat, scarf, gloves, and boots just to go play outside for a little while. And I still get chilled to the bone! No matter how many warm layers I bundle up in, the freezing wind always seems to sneak in and make me shiver. Yuck! And you know what's the worst? When I go outside with wet hair after taking a bath or shower and then the cold air instantly turns my wet hair into crunchy little icicles! It's like having frozen head spikes. So uncomfortable! I have to spend forever using the hairdryer to melt the ice before I can brush my hair. Such a pain.I don't like winter for other reasons too. It gets dark outside really early in the evening, which means I can't stay out playing as late as I can in the summer. And there's no school breaks, so I still have to wake up stupid early and do a bunch of homework every night. No thanks! The snow might look pretty for a little while, but then it quickly turns into a gross, dirty, slushy, grayish-brown mess all over the ground. It's no fun to play in that! Sometimes there's so much snow that my parents have to spend forever shoveling it off the driveway and sidewalks. And I always seem to get wet socks from stepping in puddles of melted snow no matter how careful I try to be.Winter colds and illnesses are the worst too. It seems like every winter I get a super bad stuffy nose and cough that lasts for weeks. Having to blow my poor red nose a million times a day is just miserable. Hot soup helps a little, but it's no fun being stuck inside feeling all sicky.Brrr...I'm getting chills just thinking about winter! Those dark, dreary, freezing cold days are my least favorite for sure. I'll take summer's sunny skies, long days, and warm temps any day!Well, that's my take on the best season (summer!) and the worst season (winter). What about you - do you agree with me ordo you like winter better than summer? I'd love to hear what you think! Thanks for reading my loooong essay. Writing sure makes me hungry...I'm gonna go grab a popsicle!篇6Here's a 2000 word essay in English written from the perspective of an elementary school student about their favorite and least favorite seasons:My Favorite and Least Favorite SeasonsHi there! My name is Emma, and I'm 10 years old. Today, I want to tell you all about my favorite and least favorite seasons of the year. Get ready, because this is going to be a fun ride!Let's start with my absolute favorite season – summer! Summer is the best time of the year, and I'll tell you why. First of all, there's no school during the summer, which means I get to sleep in as late as I want and don't have to worry about homework or tests. Woohoo! Instead, I can spend my days playing outside with my friends, going to the pool, having water balloon fights, and just having a total blast.Another reason why I love summer so much is because of the warm weather. I hate being cold, so the hot summer days areperfect for me. I can wear shorts and t-shirts all day long, and I don't have to bundle up in a bunch of heavy coats and sweaters. Plus, the warm weather means I can eat lots of ice cream and popsicles without freezing!Speaking of food, summer also means lots of yummy seasonal treats like watermelon, corn on the cob, and fresh lemonade. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! And let's not forget about all the fun summer activities like going to the beach, having backyard campouts, and catching fireflies at night. Summer is truly the most magical time of the year. Now, let's talk about my least favorite season: winter. Brrr, just thinking about winter makes me shiver! The cold weather is definitely the worst part about winter. I hate having to bundle up in a million layers just to go outside, and I always seem to have a runny nose and chapped lips no matter what I do. And don't even get me started on the snow and ice! Sure, it's fun to play in the snow for a little while, but then my fingers and toes start to go numb, and I just want to go inside and warm up with a mug of hot chocolate.Another thing I really don't like about winter is how dark and gloomy it is. The days are so short, and it gets dark really early in the evening. I miss being able to play outside after dinner like Ican in the summer. And let's be honest, there's nothing fun about having to wake up when it's still dark out and trudge to the bus stop in the freezing cold. No, thank you!The only good thing about winter, in my opinion, is all the fun holidays that happen during this season. Christmas is definitely my favorite, with all the twinkling lights, delicious treats, and, of course, presents! I also really enjoy building snowmen and having snowball fights with my friends and family. But other than that, winter is just too cold and dreary for my liking.I'm sure some of you winter lovers out there are probably thinking, "But Emma, what about skiing and sledding and ice skating?" And to that, I say, "Yeah, those things are kind of fun, but only for a little while." After an hour or two of being out in the bitter cold, I'm ready to head inside, crank up the heat, and snuggle up with a good book and some hot chocolate. So, there you have it, folks – my honest opinions on the best and worst seasons of the year. Summer will always be number one in my book, with its warm weather, endless fun activities, and delicious seasonal treats. And winter, well, let's just say I'll be counting down the days until spring arrives. But I want to know what you all think! What's your favorite season, and why? Or if you're team winter like some weirdos out there, I want to hear your reasons for loving the cold and snow. Either way, I'm always up for a friendly debate, so bring it on!Thanks for reading, and I'll see you all next time for more adventures and ramblings from this fourth-grade funster!。
英语作文我最喜欢的季节与我不喜欢的季节全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite and Least Favorite SeasonsHello, my name is Emily and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you about my favorite season and my least favorite season of the year. Get ready, because I have a lot to say!My Favorite Season: SummerMy absolute favorite season of the whole year is summer! I love summer so much for a million different reasons. First of all, the weather is amazing – it's sunny, warm, and perfect for going outside. When it's summer, I get to spend tons of time outdoors instead of being cooped up inside all day.In the summer, I love going to the pool or the beach with my family and friends. We swim, build sandcastles, play games in the water, and sometimes even have picnics. The water feels so refreshing and nice when it's hot out. I also really enjoy going camping with my parents and younger brother. We go hiking, tell spooky stories around the campfire, and sleep in our cozy tent under the stars. It's always such an adventure!Another thing I absolutely love about summer is that there's no school! That's right, two whole months off from teachers, homework, waking up early, and sitting at desks all day. In the summer I get to sleep in late, watch TV, play video games, and do whatever I want. It's heaven! My friends and I have so much free time to ride our bikes, play at the park, or just hang out. We never get bored.During the summer my mom takes us to fun places like amusement parks, museums, ball games, and concerts. We go on lots of little day trips and stay up late. We also go on a big family vacation every year, somewhere new and exciting. Last summer we went to Florida and saw Disney World, the beach, and lots of cool things. This summer we're going camping in the mountains for a week! I can't wait.As you can probably tell, I'm a huge fan of summer for so many reasons – the warm weather, being outdoors, no school, vacations, activities, and just having fun with my family and friends. There's really nothing not to love about this bright, sunny, adventure-filled season! My Least Favorite Season: WinterWhile summer is by far my favorite time of year, winter is definitely my least favorite season. I really struggle when it's cold, snowy, and dreary for months on end. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy certain things about winter...but there's a whole lot I dislike too.I guess one of the fun parts of winter is celebrating all the holidays like Christmas, New Year's Eve, and my birthday (which is in January). It's nice getting some time off from school and getting presents. Building snowmen and sledding can be pretty fun for a little while too. But that's about where the pros of winter end for me!The freezing cold temperatures are probably what I hate most about winter. Having to wear a million layers every time I go outside is such a hassle. My hands and feet are always frozen no matter how many gloves, hats, and boots I wear. Forget about playing outside for too long - it's just too chilly and uncomfortable. Then there's the snow and ice to deal with. While the first big snowfall is kind of magical, by the hundredth snowstorm I'm just over it. Shoveling the driveway and sidewalks is the worst chore ever. I can't stand walking on icy sidewalks because I'm so afraid of slipping and falling. And the slush and muddy puddles everywhere when it starts melting? No thank you.Shorter days and less daylight in winter really bum me out too. The sun rises so late and sets way too early. By the time I get home from school it feels like it's already nighttime. Everything just feels darker, gloomier, and way less cheerful in the winter months.Being stuck inside more often because of the yucky weather is another big downside of winter for me. Sure, sometimes it's nice to curl up and read a book or watch a movie. But after a while I start going stir crazy! I get tired of the same old games and just want to run around outside. I miss being able to comfortably play at the park, ride bikes with friends, or just hang out in the backyard. Winter makes me feel trapped indoors. All in all, I really can't stand how miserably cold, dreary, snowy, and dark winter is. I have no problem with any of the other seasons - fall and spring are nice. But winter is just way too harsh for me. As soon as those first hints of spring start appearing, I'm completely reenergized and ready for some sunshine! Thinking about warm, wonderful summer is what gets me through the brutal winter months. Summertime can't come soon enough for me!Well, there you have it - my take on my favorite season of summer and my least favorite season of winter. Even though I'mjust a kid, I feel pretty strongly about this topic! I hope you can see why I absolutely live for those couple months of no school, fun activities, and beach days. Likewise, I think I explained pretty clearly why winter is my personal seasonal nightmare. Maybe you agree, or maybe you're more of a winter person yourself. Either way, I'd love to hear your thoughts! What are your favorite and least favorite seasons?篇2My Favorite and Least Favorite SeasonsHi there! My name is Sam and I'm going to tell you all about my favorite and least favorite seasons. Get ready for a super fun roller coaster ride through the seasons! My Favorite Season: SummerSummer is definitely my #1 favorite season of the whole year.I love summer more than hot fudge sundaes, more than pizza with extra pepperoni, and even more than beating the high score on my favorite video game! Here's why summer makes me jump for joy:No School! During the summer, I get to wave bye-bye to homework, tests, waking up super early, and sitting at desks all day long. Yippeeeee! My days are deliciously free to have funadventures instead of being stuck inside a classroom. I get three glorious months off from school to just play, play, play.Warm Weather Magic: Summer isn't called the warm season for nothing! The sun smiles its bright rays down on us, chasing away the cold and adding a toasty warmth to the air. This means I can wear my favorite shorts, t-shirts, and sandals every single day without ever having to bundle up in a million layers. Wow, it's like being carried away to a fantasyland of perpetual warmth and freedom!Water Fun Galore: What's summer without swimming, splashing, and getting drenched? Sprinklers, pools, water balloons, you name it - summer is a kid's golden ticket to aquatic playtime. I love cannonballing into the pool and trying to see how long I can hold my breath underwater. My friends and I spend hours in our swimming suits, basking in the summer sun with our feet dipped in water. Ahhh, pure bliss!Picnics & Ice Cream: Yummy picnics and frosty ice cream are two more reasons summer is the bestest. Chowing down on watermelon slices, corn on the cob, and lemonade at the park beats eating indoors any day. And I scream for ice cream at least three times a week during the summer! Brain freezes are 100% worth it for those delicious frozen treats. As you can probably tell, I go completely cuckoo for summer. Sadly though, just like all good things, summer has to end. This brings me to my least favorite season...My Least Favorite Season: WinterBrrr, just thinking about winter makes me shiver! Sadly, this freezing cold season tends to winter-ify my fun-loving spirit and turn me into a curmudgeonly icicle of grumpiness. Here's why winter is the worst:Frosty Nightmares: Winter's chilly temperatures are my literal nightmare. The moment that cold winter air bites my nose and an icy wind whips through my clothes, it's like entering a freezing level of an arctic video game that I just can't beat. No amount of bundling up in coats, scarves, and mittens seems to keep me warm enough. My teeth chatter like crazy even whenI'm indoors!Snow Struggles: At first, freshly fallen snow seems so magical and fun. I love making snowy angels, snowmen, and pelting my friends with snowballs. But after a while, the snow turns to nasty piles of slushy brown mess that gets stuck in my boots. Shoveling it is such a chore, and I always seem to slip on icy patches no matter how careful I am. Snow plows are my mortal enemy!Hibernation Mode: Winter always puts me in hibernation mode along with the bears. It's way too easy to become a couch potato who just wants to lounge around all day watching movies, playing video games or reading books under a toasty blanket. But then my mom yells at me for being lazy and not going outside to play. Hello, have you felt how freezing it is out there?! I'd rather be a pudgy bear.No Holidays: Okay, okay, I have to admit that the holidays during winter are pretty cool. Getting presents for Christmas is awesome and who doesn't love stuffing their face with candy during Halloween? But after New Year's, winter becomes a total snoozefest without any holidays to look forward to. We're just stuck with months of cold blah-ness!The Neverending Season: I swear, winter lasts fooorever and it feels like the sunny, warm seasons will never return. Whenever winter drags on and on without end, I get incredibly impatient and grumpy counting down the days until spring. Winter, your freezy reign of terror needs to be over already!Well, there you have it - my strong opinions on summer being awesome-ville and winter being drab-city. If you asked me to choose between having an endless summer or endless winter, I'd go for summer in a hot second! Those sun-kissed, fun-filled,free days are what make my heart sing with glee. Sorry winter, but you'll never be my numero uno. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a popsicle calling my name!篇3My Favorite and Least Favorite SeasonsHi there! My name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. Today, I'm going to write about my favorite and least favorite seasons of the year. Get ready for an exciting adventure through the four seasons! My Favorite Season: SummerSummer is definitely my favorite season of the year! I love everything about it – the warm weather, the school holidays, and all the fun activities I get to do. Let me tell you why summer rocks!First of all, the weather in summer is just perfect. The sun shines brightly in the sky, warming up the world with its golden rays. I can wear shorts, t-shirts, and sandals without having to worry about feeling cold. My mom always tells me to put on sunscreen before going outside, but I don't mind because it means I get to soak up the sun's warmth.During summer, I don't have to go to school, which is the best part! No more waking up early, no more homework, and no more boring lessons. Instead, I get to sleep in late, play video games all day, and just relax. My parents sometimes make me do chores around the house, but I don't mind too much because I know I have plenty of free time.Another reason why I love summer is that I get to do so many fun activities. My family and I often go on vacations to exciting places like the beach or an amusement park. I love building sandcastles, swimming in the ocean, and riding thrilling roller coasters. Sometimes, we have barbecues in our backyard with our neighbors, and we play games like badminton or frisbee until the sun goes down.During the summer, there are also lots of fun events and festivals happening in our town. Every year, we go to the county fair, where I can ride rides, eat cotton candy, and watch amazing shows. There are also outdoor concerts, movie nights in the park, and fireworks displays on the 4th of July.Overall, summer is my absolute favorite season because of the warm weather, school holidays, and endless fun activities. I wish summer could last forever! My Least Favorite Season: WinterNow, let's talk about my least favorite season of the year –winter. While some people might enjoy the cold weather and snow, I'm not really a fan. Here's why winter is the worst (in my opinion).First of all, the weather in winter is just too cold for my liking. The temperatures drop below freezing, and sometimes it even snows heavily. I have to bundle up in thick coats, scarves, hats, and gloves just to go outside, which is really annoying. My fingers and toes always feel like they're going to fall off from the bitter cold.Another thing I dislike about winter is the lack of daylight. The sun sets really early, sometimes as early as 4 or 5 PM! This means that it gets dark outside really quickly, and I can't play outside for as long as I'd like to. I also hate how gloomy and dreary the weather can be, with gray clouds blocking out the sun for days on end.During the winter months, I have to go back to school after the long summer break. This means waking up early, sitting through boring lessons all day, and having to do homework in the evenings. I much prefer the freedom and relaxation of summer vacation. One of the worst parts of winter is dealing with the snow and ice. It's really hard to walk or drive anywhere when the roads and sidewalks are covered in slippery ice or deep snow. Sometimes, school even gets canceled due to heavy snowstorms, which sounds fun at first but then I just end up feeling bored and cooped up inside the house.Another downside of winter is that there aren't as many fun activities or events happening. Most outdoor festivals and concerts get canceled because of the cold weather. Instead of going on vacations or having barbecues, my family and I are stuck inside watching movies or playing board games.Overall, winter is my least favorite season because of the freezing temperatures, lack of daylight, having to go back to school, dealing with snow and ice, and the lack of fun activities. I can't wait for winter to be over and for spring to arrive!Well, that's my take on my favorite and least favorite seasons. Summer is the clear winner for me, but I know some people might prefer the colder months. What about you? What's your favorite season and why? Let me know in the comments below!篇4My Favorite and Least Favorite SeasonsI really love the seasons! Each one is so different and special. But I have to say, my favorite season of all is summer. There are so many things I love about those warm, sunny months. And on the other hand, my least favorite season is definitely winter. It's just too cold and boring for me!Summer is the best because I get to spend my days outside, playing and having fun. During the summer, I don't have to go to school. That means I can sleep in late and stay up past my bedtime. I have so much free time to do whatever I want! My friends and I have lemonade stands and have water balloon fights. We go on bike rides and roller skate in the park. We run through the sprinklers to cool off. It's just nonstop fun and games in the sunshine!Another awesome thing about summer is that we always take a big family vacation. Last year, we went to the beach for a whole week. We played in the ocean, built sandcastles, and went snorkeling. We stayed up late every night, roasting marshmallows at the bonfire. We saw crabs scuttling across the sand at night and even spotted some dolphins swimming in the waves! My brother and I collected so many pretty seashells. I can't wait for our beach trip this summer. Some of my other favorite summer activities are catching fireflies at night, eating popsicles and ice cream cones, and watching the fireworks on the 4th of July. I love running through the sprinkler and jumping into the pool on scorching hot days. Summer just has this fun, carefree feeling that I love. The only bad thing about summer is that sometimes it gets a little too hot. I get all sweaty playing outside, and sometimes I get sunburned if I forget to put on sunscreen. And bugs like mosquitoes can be really annoying. But the good things about summer definitely outweigh the bad!Winter, on the other hand, is pretty much my least favorite season. It's just so cold, dark, and boring! I hate having to wear a million layers of clothes whenever I go outside. I can never get nice and warm enough. My nose and fingers are always bright red from the freezing temperatures. No matter how many pairs of socks I wear, my toes are like little icicles. In the winter, the days are shorter and darker. By the time I get home from school, it's already getting dark outside. I feel like I'm trapped inside all day long. There's not much fun to be had - it's way too cold and icy to play outdoors. I get so antsy being cooped up inside all winter. I miss being able to run around at the park or swimming at the pool. It's no fun at all!The only outdoor activity I like doing in winter is sledding and making snowmen when it snows. But sadly, where I live it doesn't snow as much as I'd like. Sometimes we get a little dusting of snow that's just enough to cover the ground, but not really enough for good sledding. And when it does snow more, it's still just too freezing cold for me to really enjoy being outdoors for long.I also don't love all the extra clothes, gloves, boots, and heavy jackets I have to wear in winter. Getting all bundled up is such a hassle. It's hard for me to move around and play easily with all those layers on. I'm always losing my gloves and forgetting my hat at home. Plus, winter clothes aren't very cute or stylish. I much prefer the cute dresses, shorts and tank tops I get to wear in summer.Another thing I dislike about winter is how dry the air gets. My skin gets all red, itchy and irritated from the cold air. And winter is prime season for getting colds and the flu. No one wants to be stuck at home sick in bed, missing out on all the fun!The holidays like Christmas and New Year's are fun, but to me they don't make up for the rest of winter. After the holidays are over, it's just three long, dreary months until spring finally arrives. Winter definitely drags on way too long if you ask me!Don't get me wrong, I do like some things about winter. The holiday lights and decorations are beautiful and festive. And who doesn't love getting out of school for winter break? I like snuggling up with hot chocolate and watching Christmas movies too. But overall, winter is just not my favorite.Spring and fall (or autumn as some people call it), are both nice in-between seasons. They aren't too hot or too cold. The weather is just right - not sweaty or freezing. In spring, it's lovely to see all the flowers blooming and trees getting green leaves again after the winter. Fall is gorgeous too, with all the changing leaf colors and the crisp, cool air.But in my opinion, neither spring nor fall can beat summer. Summer is when I have no school, I get to make so many fun memories, and I feel free and happy. I love running around outside without a coat, swimming at the pool, and staying up late since it doesn't get dark out until way after bedtime. The hot temperatures don't bother me at all.Wintertime, on the other hand, is pretty miserable if you ask me. I just can't stand being stuck inside because of the frigid cold and endless grey skies. I miss the warm sunshine so much! My skin gets dry and itchy, I'm always layered in a million pieces of clothing, and it's too cold and icy for any outdoor fun. I have toadmit, I dread the arrival of winter every year. I'll take summer over winter any day, thank you very much!So those are my favorite and least favorite seasons and why. If you ask me, summer wins hands down every time. I look forward to counting down the days until the long, sunny,fun-filled summer arrives once again! Maybe this summer we'll even take a trip to an amusement park or waterpark for something extra exciting. Either way, you can bet I'll be squeezing every drop of enjoyment out of my absolute favorite season while it lasts!篇5My Favorite and Least Favorite SeasonsHi there! My name is Emma and I'm 10 years old. I go to Maple Grove Elementary School. Today, I'm going to tell you all about my favorite season and my least favorite season. Get ready, because this is going to be a long essay! My Favorite Season: Summersummer is definitely my number one favorite season of the whole year. I love summer so much for lots of different reasons. First of all, the weather in summer is amazing. It's warm and sunny pretty much every single day. That means I can spend tonsof time outside playing and having fun instead of being cooped up inside. In the summer, I love going swimming at the pool or the beach. Splashing around in the cool water is so refreshing when it's hot outside. I'm a really good swimmer and I can do the breaststroke, backstroke, and even a little bit of the butterfly stroke. My friend Katie and I have contests to see who can hold their breath underwater the longest. I usually win because I'm a bit older than her.Another awesome thing about summer is that there's no school! That means I get to sleep in late instead of having to wake up super early. I never have any homework to do over summer break. Instead of boring schoolwork, I can play outside for hours and hours. My friends and I setup lemonade stands, have water balloon fights, or sometimes we build secret clubhouses out of branches and leaves in the woods behind my house. The 4th of July is definitely one of the best days of summer. My family always has a huge barbecue party with tons of yummy food like hamburgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob, and lots of other treats. But the best part is at night when we get to watch the big fireworks show they have in our town. The fireworks areso bright and colorful and loud! I try my best to stay awake but I always fall asleep before the finale because I'm so tuckered out from swimming and running around all day. Those are just some of the reasons why I absolutely love summer. Between the incredible weather, fun activities, no school at all, and exciting holidays like the 4th of July, summer is simply the best season. I wish it could be summer all year round! My Least Favorite Season: WinterWhile summer is amazing, winter is pretty much the complete opposite. I strongly dislike winter for many reasons. First off, the weather is absolutely terrible. It's freezing cold basically every single day. We sometimes even get super chilly temperatures below 0 degrees Fahrenheit! Brrrrr, no thanks. I much prefer being warm.Another yucky thing about winter is all the snow and ice. Now don't get me wrong, I actually do like playing in the snow and making snowmen. But after a while, the snow just gets gross, dirty, and slushy. It's no fun trying to walk through all that slippery muck. It makes it really easy to slip and fall which I've done more times than I can count. The worst part about all the snow is that someone has to shovel it! My dad is always making me and my brother go out to shovel the driveway and sidewalks whenever we get a big snowfall. Shoveling all that heavy snow for hours is such hard work. By the time I finally finish, my hands are numb and my back is absolutely killing me. No amount of hot chocolate can make that chore worthwhile. With all the ice and low temperatures in the winter, it's really hard to spend much time playing outside. Being stuck inside for months is pretty boring. My friends and I have to find indoor activities to keep ourselves busy like playing video games or board games. But even those get old after doing them for the hundredth time.Wintertime can be pretty disappointing too because of all the fun things we can't do. No swimming at the pool or beach. No playing outdoor sports like baseball or soccer. Even just riding my bike is impossible once the snow hits. And we certainly can't have any lemonade stands or clubhouses when it's 20 degrees outside! Winter is just no fun at all. There are a couple of OK things about winter I guess. Getting out of school on snow days is pretty exciting. And I do enjoy celebrating Christmas and New Year's with my family. But otherthan those few bright spots, winter is just the absolute worst in my opinion. It's cold, dark, and there's nothing really fun to do. I can't wait for it to be over each year so spring and summer can get here!Well, that's my take on the best season (summer) and the worst season (winter). What did you think about my opinions? Whether you agree with me or not, I hope you enjoyed reading my essay. Thanks for your time and let me know if you have any other questions!。

James: Yeah!
Todd: Let's talk about seasons.
James: OK.
Todd: James, what is your favorite season?
James: My favorite season is spring.

I can go to the beach. I can relax with my friends outside. It's very nice. Todd: OK. What is your least favorite season?
James: My least favorite season in Japan is the rainy season...because I don't like rain at all.
