其题材是以出行旅游为话题，通过大量的语言材料集中展示了问路、指路、对某一区域进行阐述的语言表达方式，帮助学生能够对某个区域进行描述。

语法结构则是能够正确运用方位介词。

本模块的任务是能够运用所学的内容向其他人介绍自己的城市和家乡。

本单元是本模块的第一课时，是听说以为主的词汇对话新授课。

本单元，以对话的形式，呈现指路、问路以及方位的语言表达方式。

借助学生感兴趣或熟悉的内容，从听说读（重在朗读）写（重在书写）等方面围绕话题展开，为学生提供了充足的体验和运用语言的机会。

三、学情分析：首先我认为，学生们对问路这个话题比较感兴趣，对北京也充满向往，因此很容易带他们入课，开展话题。

而且在初一时学生已经学过一些表达方位介词以及介词短语，给今天的学习带来一定的辅助作用。

但是，与问路、指路及线路图相联系，正确读图并正确使用方位名词及介词短语进行场所的描述却没有系统接触过。

在本单元，借助学生熟悉的天安门广场旅游，激发他们的学习兴趣，使学生利用已有的和通过预习得到的知识，积极主动地参与对话交际，并将其运用到自己的生活中，重点掌握问路、指路的英语表达方式以及准确回答，达到教学目的。

四、教学目标：1 知识目标：1）能学会并正确使用本单元所学的单词和短语。

2）能听懂课本中听力材料中的对话内容，正确回答问题。

3）能熟练地用英语问路和指路，正确地用英语描述方位。

2 能力目标：1）能正确读地图并根据地图用英语叙述方位和指路。

2）结合实际正确描述自己家庭和学校所处的地点方位，当导游，介绍本地的旅游景点及旅行线路。

3 情感目标：通过学习，培养学生热爱祖国热爱家乡的美好情感。

向学生们渗透“奥运在北京，观光在大连”的热爱家乡，支持奥运的情结，进而启发他们正确描述地点，积极为xx年奥运会的召开贡献自己的一份力量。
