当你想知道某个事物用英语如何表达时,你需要提问:what'sthisinEnglish?比如你看到一杯牛奶,你想知道“牛奶”用英语怎么说,what's“牛奶”inEnglish?那么what'sthisinEnglish?如何回答呢?△-what'sthisinEnglish?这在英语里怎么说?-It'saphone/aneraser.是个电话/橡皮擦。
注意:答语中的phone和eraser是可数名词,因此前面要加上限定个数的定冠词a或an。
如果单词以辅音音素开头,就用不定冠词a。
如果单词以元音音素开头,就用定冠词an。
例如:abook一本书,aneraser一块橡皮。
inEnglish表示“用英语表达”,inchinese则表示“用汉语表达”。
what's=whatis,what用来询问某物是“什么”,is是be动词一般现在时的第三人称单数形式。
this“这、这个”,是指示代词,而that表示“那、那个”,it“它”,是指物的人称代词。
anorange“一个橘子”。
an是不定冠词。
当单数可数名词以元音开头,则前面可以用不定冠词an;如果单数可数名词以辅音开头,则前面可使用不定冠词a。

预备篇是为了使没有英语学习基础的学生更好地使用本套教材而编写的。
它的主要内容为26个英文字母和最基本的英语日常用语。
Starte r U nit 2第一课时的主要内容是谈论话题:“What’s this in English?”即确认物体的问答对话,通过这个话题的学习,让学生能够在日常生活中进行简单的问答交流,以此培养学生在日常生活中使用英语交流的兴趣,同时锻炼学生的英语口语能力。
2.教学目标学生在小学时英语学习不规范,英语基础基本为零,鉴于此情况,在学习预备单元之前,我已将26个字母进行单独教学,在认真分析教材内容并借鉴相关参考书的基础上,将本课的教学目标及重点、难点确定如下:A、语言知识目标1.词汇:复习Letters Ii——Rr学习map,ruler,pen,orange,key,jacket,quilt等七个关于物体新单词2.句型:What is this in English?It is a map/an orange…B、语言技能目标通过师生、生生情景对话展示、小组单词PK、小组对话PK等活动,培养学生灵活运用语言知识和勇于创新的能力。

3.使学生了解一些常见物品的英语表达。

Ⅴ.教学步骤Step 1:Warmup1.利用已学过的字母进行热身,营造活跃的课堂气氛。
建议1:击鼓传花用敲鼓的形式帮助学生复习已学过的字母,教师敲鼓,学生在下面传花,当鼓点停止的时候,一个学生站起来说Aa;然后教师再敲鼓,鼓点停止时,接到花的学生说出教师要求的字母,如:Aa后三个字母;D的左邻右舍等。
