A mother's love should change
In “Two kinds” ,the author Amy Tan wrote a story between a Chinese
immigrant mother and her American-born daughter. This story vividly reveals
the contradictions and bad relationships between the mothers and daughters.
The Chinese immigrant mother had high hopes for her child. She hoped that
her kid can became the beat one among others kids. So that she always
forced her daughter to do something that her daughter didn’t like. The mother
sent her daughter to a neighbor to study the piano. But her daughter didn’t like
these training. And the daughter’s bad performance let her mother lost her
hope and no longer forced her practice piano. Until in her 30 years old birthday,
the daughter received a piano from her mother and played easier than before,
and finally understood her mother’s love.

② 对what do leaves need to make food? 和they need air, water, and sunlight.的理解和灵活运用
③ 对植物光合作用增加了解,培养跨学科学习的认识
教学重难点
重点:单词的拼写和发音
难点:句型的灵活运用,可以对what do sth\sb need to do sth? They need sth to do sth的理解和使用
教学过程
Step1 warm-up activity
教师展示树木的结构图,让学生用英语回答各部分的名称:leaf(树叶、seed(种子)和trunk(树干),并要求学生进行单复数转换。
Teacher: what do leaves do?
Students: they make food for the tree.
Teacher: what do seeds do?
Students: they grow up to be trees and plants.
Teacher: what do trunks do?
Students: they support the tree above the ground.
