So we came to the reading naturally. While reading, I also introduced students two reading strategies—scanning and mind map by asking them to do some tasks. During this part, most of the students did very well and they finished those tasks quickly and correctly. After reading, I asked students to finish the paragraph related to whales protection by setting up a situation. Since time limited, I only invited one group to show their work in front of the class. So I will try my best to invite more students to share their pieces next time.。
