CCF公布推荐的国际学术会议和期刊目录经过3年多的工作，CCF推荐的国际学术会议和期刊目录现予公布。
本目录包括数据库、软件工程、计算机网络、计算机图形学（几何造型、多媒体、可视化、虚拟现实）、计算机体系结构、计算机科学理论、人工智能与模式识别、网络与信息安全等八个方向的国际学术会议及期刊目录和一个综合类的国际学术期刊目录，供国内高校和科研单位作为学术评价的参考依据。
目录中，刊物和会议分为A、B、C三档。
A类表示国际上极少数的顶级刊物和会议，鼓励我国学者去突破；B类是指国际上著名和非常重要的会议、刊物，代表该领域的较高水平，鼓励国内同行投稿；C类指国际上重要、为国际学术界所认可的会议和刊物。
早在2005年12月17日，CCF YOCSEF就举办了“从SCI反思中国的学术评价体制”的专题论坛，探讨为何SCI会成为衡量大学、科研机构和科学工作者学术水平的最重要的甚至是唯一的尺度，提出了如何建立中国公正合理的学术评价体制的问题。
这次论坛，在国内引起了强烈的反响。
李国杰理事长在各种场合多次呼吁要重视在顶级国际学术会议上发表论文，希望CCF拿出顶级学术会议和重要学术期刊的目录，提供给各高校和科研单位做学术水平评价的参考。
此后，CCF委托YOCSEF学术委员会组织此项工作，经过调研、分析、选择试点方向、收集整理资料、研讨、向学术界公开征集意见、报常务理事会审议、学术工作委员会再修订等过程，最终推出目前的推荐目录表。
这些分类目录每年将根据具体情况进行修订。

一、A类期刊包括：1、国外期刊符合下述国外检索数据库之一SCI：科学引文索引（Science Citation Index光盘版）EI：工程索引（Engineering Index，核心版）SSCI：社会科学引文索引（Social Science Citation Index，网络版）A&HCI: 艺术与人文科学引文索引 (Arts & Humanities Citation Index)2、中文期刊对于在339种期刊所涉及的56个学科以外的学术期刊上发表的高影响因子论文（按八大类别影响因子在括号中以上），由本人申报A类论文，校学术委员会确认。
基础科学（0.82）工业技术（0.5）农业科学（0.62）医药卫生（0.84）哲学政法（0.39）社会科学（0.43）经济管理（0.61）教科文艺（0.39）二、B类重要期刊包括：1、EI（工程索引Engineering Index网络版）2、SCI文摘收录论文（网络版）3、ISTP：科学与技术国际会议论文集索引（Index to Scientific &Technical Proceadings ，网络版）4、ISSHP：人文社会科学国际会议论文集索引（Index to Social Sciences & Humanities Proceadings）5、国外外文刊物6、中国管理科学研究院广东分院SCD数据库7、中国科学院的科技论文数据库CSCD8、南京大学的CSSCI：中国社会科学引文索引（China Social Science Citation Index）三、C 类重要期刊包括：1、北京大学的中文统计源以上期刊要目总览2、国际会议论文集论文（未被收录）3、国内一级学会会议论文集论文4、北京大学的中文核心以上期刊增刊。
学术期刊中AB类核心期刊一般包括“北大核心期刊”（即全国中文核心期刊）和“南大核心期刊”（即CSSCI，俗称C刊，比北大核心影响力还要大，期刊质量更好），现在还有一个“武大核心期刊”（即RCCSE，比较新的一个，还收录了一些汉斯出版社的OA期刊）；一级期刊是指国家级期刊，如各级国家部门主办的期刊（这个很难界定，网上可以查询到一个权威国家级期刊的列表）；SCI(科学引文索引)、EI(工程索引)、ISTP(科技会议录索引) 是世界著名的三大科技文献检索系统，是国际公认的进行科学统计与科学评价的主要检索工具，其中以SCI最为重要。
为进一步提高全校专业技术人员发表学术论文的水平，不断增强学术影响力，强化岗位聘任中学术评议的质量标准，学校决定进一步规范对国内外期刊的分类。
A类和B类期刊一般很少用，A类一般指核心和国家级期刊，B类一般指省级期刊、本科学报等。
一、A类期刊(表示国际上极少数的顶级刊物和会议，鼓励我国学者去突破。
)1.被SCI(科学引文索引)收录且影响因子在0.3以上的期刊。
2.SSCI(社会科学引文索引)收录的期刊。
3.A&HCI(艺术与人文科学引文索引)收录的期刊。
4.依据CSSCI(中国社会科学引文索引)来源期刊，划定其中部分期刊为A类。
二、B类期刊(指国际上著名和非常重要的会议、刊物，代表该领域的较高水平，鼓励国内同行投稿。
)1.EI收录期刊(不含增刊)。
2.被美国《医学索引》收录的期刊。
3.依据CSSCI来源期刊，划定其中部分期刊为B类。

本目录包括数据库、软件工程、计算机网络、计算机图形学、计算机体系结构、计算机科学理论、人工智能与模式识别、网络与信息安全等八个方向的国际学术会议及期刊和一个综合类的国际学术期刊目录，以供国内高校和科研单位参考。
目录中，刊物和会议分为A、B、C三档。
A类表示国际上极少数的顶级刊物和会议，鼓励我国学者去突破；B 类是指国际上著名和非常重要的会议、刊物，代表该领域的较高水平，鼓励国内同行投稿；C类指国际上重要、为国际学术界所认可的会议和刊物。
