Unit5 Working the land 说课稿大家好,今天我要讲的课是人教版高中选择性必修1第5单元Working the land的阅读部分。
下面我将从以下几个方面来阐述我的课:一.教材分析(Analysis of the teaching material)本节课的课型属于阅读课。
这篇阅读材料紧扣本单元的中心话题“农业”,讲述了“杂交水稻之父”——袁隆平,投身农业研究,研制出一种高产水稻,缓解了世界上好多国家的饥饿问题。
这篇文章结构十分清晰,从袁隆平的成就说起,继而介绍他的工作经历到后来的人民饥饿问题,袁隆平致力于解决这个问题研制出的杂交水稻。
通过对袁隆平性格的分析,鼓励学生热爱生活,尊重农民,积极的为自己的家乡做贡献。
二.学情分析本节课授课对象是高考班三年级学生,虽然已经是三年级的学生,然而学生英语基础知识相对薄弱。
但是通过两年的高中英语的学习,学生掌握了基本的阅读理解技巧,像寻读,略读,预测等阅读技能,他们也能对一些问题进行对话讨论。
但是,学生的词汇量不是很大,对文中出现的一些句式并不清楚,对有些句子所隐含的话外之音也不是很清楚,也对独立解决一些现实的问题感到困难。
三.教学目标知识目标:1.通过本节课的学习学生能知道袁隆平杂交水稻的产生过程;2.通过本节课的学习,大部分学生能够掌握并运用重要词汇。
能力目标:1.通过本节课的学习学生能够应用不同的阅读技能得到所需的信息;2.在略读后,学生能概括各段段落大意和文章的主要内容。
情感态度与价值观:通过学习袁隆平的生平,成就和他的无私奉献的精神,提升学生的民族自豪感并激发他们向时代楷模学习,把他作为自己的偶像。
四.教学重难点重点:通过本节课的学习进一步提高学生的寻读,略读,预测等阅读技能;引导学生对文章进行整体把握,理解文章大意和结构。
难点:学生要分析出文中有些句子的隐含意义,深入理解文章并概括文章的主旨大意。
五.教法与学法教法:本堂课主要采用任务型教学法和提问式教学法。

Unit 5 The power of nature1.教材分析本单元以The power of nature 为话题,旨在通过单元教学使学生了解火山爆发、地震、台风、洪水等自然现象,认识到自然的伟大力量,并会用所学词汇描述在经历自然灾害时的感受,思考人类应对自然灾害的态度和方法,提高自我保护意识。
1.1 Warming Up通过对火山爆发示意图的讨论激活学生了解与本单元话题相关的背景知识,而后通过讨论人类应对自然灾害的措施引发学生对本单元话题的思考,激发学生的求知欲,为随后进行的听、说、读、写打下基础。
1.2 Pre-reading通过回答问题测试自己是否适合作火山学家,让学生了解这一陌生职业,为阅读做好准备。
1.3 Reading部分一位火山学家以第一人称的形式讲述了自己的工作及第一次目睹火山爆发时的情景和心情,描写了人与自然的斗争与和谐相处的乐趣,使学生认识到火山是美丽的,但同时极具破坏力,而火山学家的工作可以减少由火山引发的损失。
1.4 Comprehending设计了两种题型:第一题要求学生在阅读后回答相关问题;第二题检测学生对文章细节的理解。
1.5 Learning about Language 分为词汇和语法两部分。
词汇部分着重从词的意义用法和表达方面对学生学习词汇给予指导;语法部分学习ing 形式在句子中作状语表示时间、原因及结果。
1.6 Using Language以语言实践为目的,包括四个部分的内容。

Period Five Writing—Descriptive writing:description of atourist attraction本单元的写作任务是介绍旅游景点。
旅游景点介绍实质上是说明文的一种,所以它首先要具备说明文的特点,即要按照一定的结构顺序(时间顺序、空间顺序、逻辑顺序等)和模式(先总后分、由整体到局部、由概述到细节等)来展开描写。
其次,要重点突出,详略得当。
写作时不要面面俱到,应重点描写该旅游景点的特别之处,突出其特色(如其独特的自然风景、历史典故、地理风貌、风土人情、传说故事、民族习俗或名胜古迹等),这样才能给读者留下深刻的印象。
最后,语言要生动,富有感染力,使读者有身临其境之感且产生强烈的旅游欲望。
注意事项:1.说明要介绍的旅游景点是什么,具有哪些重要性和突出性特点。
2.注意文章的结构:开头一般先说明景点的位置;然后介绍景点的路线和风景;最后对景点进行总结评价。
3.找准时态和人称。
常用一般现在时;人称通常用第一人称和第三人称。
