看着文字稿，亦步亦趋地跟着他的节奏读。这时候，充分调动你的耳朵，适应外国人的语音语调，还要像个回声 筒 似 地 反 映 出 来 。 久 而 久 之 ， 当 你 习 惯 了 老 外 的 节 奏 ， 只 要 具 备 5000 个 基 本 单 词 ， 就 能 应 付 一 般 的 对 话 。 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------(补充)英语的连读、省音、同化和弱式(wmmz) 在听 native speaker 说英语时，经常会发现连读、省音、同化和弱 化。这些现象使外语学习者在做听力训练，尤其是生活英语的训练时非常头疼。其实这些现象是有一定规律的。 只要掌 握其中的规律，一切都可以迎刃而解。 连读（linking) 指在语流中将两个词前面词结尾的辅粲牒笸反士 返脑 袅 鹄炊痢?如：it is、don't you。 其中最常见的是连音 r， 即拼写中一个词尾不发音的字母 r，碰到后一个词的词首 是元音， 将 r 与后面的元音连读。如；here are；four eggs；all out； 要想使自己的口语流利，就需学会使单词与单 词之间连贯。 省音（ellision） 指在某些语境中一些音消失， 这是在快速、随便的言语中经常出现。最常见的末过 于 you‘d； I'd； I'll；don't。除此之外还有以下几类： 一些元音处在非重读音节且 p、t、k 之前时被省略了 如： potato； tomato； perhaps； today； 元音出现在非重读音节且 n、 l 之前时也往往会被省略 如： tonight； police； correct 相同或类似的辅音重复出现为了减少发音的麻烦， 省略部分 如： George the sixth's throne； acts； looked back； scripts of 中的 v 在辅音前也经常被省。 如：lots of them； waste of money 同化（assimilation） 一个音在语流中受相 邻的音的影响而变得与其想像。受同化影响的音主要是辅音。它往往是造成听力理解卡壳的地方。所以要特别重视。 如：that person； light（p) blue； meat pie； that thing； get those that case； bright colour quite（k) good in the－inne； get them－gettem； read these－ri:ddi:z 弱式（weak form） 英语中大约有四十个词可以用两种不同 的方式发音， 一种是强式， 一种是弱式。具有这种功能的词一般是功能词， 如：助动词、介词、连词等。 the、a、 an、and、but、her、his、us、them、for、from、of、some、there、can、shall、must、are、do。 如：why am I here？ wai em ai hie as much as possible.ez ... ez try to stop. te the thing that annoys me. e 只有在以下几种情况下使 用强式： 1.在句末。 2.与另一个词形成对比。 3.用重音表示强调。 4.被单独引用。 中国人在使用这类词时 常常只记住它的强式读音，在所有场合都使用强式。英国人说英语时大量使用弱式， 因此听英国人说英语时会觉得很难 听懂。 英语的连读、省音、同化和弱式当中， 最容易出错的是连读中的 r 连读。在 national geographic 中， 经常 出现这种现象。 除了以上所提到的现象外， 还有一个现象就是节奏。就是重读音节之间相隔的时间大概相同。尤其 英国英语中看过 Friends 的朋友大概还记得，Ross 的女朋友 Emily。她的英语就明显带有一种节奏。以至于 Chandler 特意去模仿。 英国英语很难听懂很大原因在于它独有的节奏。 The narrator in the discovery program on bears ( 【视】 Discovery - 熊之家族) has a very distinctive rhythm. 四、六级听力中所涉及的语音知识------连读、失音、弱读、混同 1．连读（在语音分析中的代码为 p1） 连读即连在一起读，就是两个或多个分属不同单词的音素因为相邻或语速 较快等原因而连在一起读出的现象。连读是听力中最基本的障碍，也是最长期的问题。刚接触高要求听力训练的初学者， 就不可避免地要遇到连读的问题； 即使听力水平已经很高的人， 偶尔犯个错误， 常常还是由于某个非常普通的连读。 连读现象在英语考试听力中极为常见。因为听力考的是内容是口语，口语必有连读。英语是这样，汉语和世界上任何语 言都是如此。传说古英语中并没有字母 W，只有常连在一起双写的 U（UU） 。两个 U（DOUBLE U）连在一起写草了， 便成了 W 的形状；连在一起读快了，便成了[dQbljU:]读音。久而久之，双写的 U 就成了现在字母 W 。又如汉语的“甭” 字，起初只是口语中“不”和“用”形成的一个连读音变，久而久之人们又把两个字合写成一个字，于是连读便创造出了一个 新的汉字。四川话“biao dei”是“不晓得”三个汉字的连读，河南话中的“ra”是“人家”的连读。类似的例子举不胜举。可见连 读的作用和影响无处不在，它在四级听力中也是无孔不入的。 下面列出连读的基本规则，大家应该记住。但最重要 的是把这些规则落实到听力实践中去，弄清楚这些规则实际反映到听觉上到底是什么样子。所以，对以下规则的浏览一 定要与听写句子相结合。 1）前一个单词以辅音音素接尾，后一个单词以元音音素开头，并且两个词处于同一个意 群或者说话者语速较快时，两词发生连读。这是连读发生的最基本情况。属于这种情况的连读很多，可以通过在训练听 力时分析语音、朗读、跟读、反复对比的方法加以解决。 as it is -à[E si tiz ]三个单词因连读而分割,重组为三个不同 的发音组合。 Half an hour -à [hB: fE 5nBUE] 因连读,单词被肢解重组,变得面目全非。 My pen’s out of ink again. -à [mBi p[n zBU t[ viN k[ ^ein] not at all -à[nC tA tR:l]这个词组的发音和三个独立单词的发音相去甚远。 once in a week -à[wQn @in[ wi:k] 和上一个词组如同出一辙。 rush hour à[rQ 5FBU[] 连读后 ,发音极接近单词 shower 。 travel agent travel agency-à[trAv leidVEnt],[trAv leidV[nsi] 。 2)击穿轻辅音[h]的连读,如果前一个单词以辅音音 素结尾,后一个单词的读音以轻辅音音素[h]开头，语速较快时，直接与[h]后面的元音音素发生连读。 例如:isn’t he 在

英语中的连读、失爆、、同化、浊化等英语中的连读、同化、失爆、浊化等一、连读在同一意群中,前一词以辅音音素结尾，后一词以元音音素开头,在说话或朗读句子时，习惯上很自然地将这两个音素合拼在一起读出来，这种语音现象叫连读。

连读现象只出现在意群内部，意群与意群之间的两个相邻单词即使符合上面所讲的两个条件，也不连读。

如:Ｉhope ｉt\＇ll geｔa littl ｅwarｍer. 这个句子中的hope it就不连读为／hupｉt/,因为主句I ｈope是一个意群,后面的从句是另一个意群。

（１)“辅音+元音”型连读在同一个意群里,如果相邻两词中的前一个词是以辅音结尾后一词是以元音开头，这就要将辅音与元音拼起来连读。

Ｉ'm workｉng on〉iｔ.(2)“r/re+元音”型连读如果前一个词是以-ｒ或者-rｅ结尾,后一个词是以元音开头，这时的r 或re不但要发/r/,而且还要与后面的元音拼起来连读。

但是,如果一个音节的前后都有字母r，即使后面的词以元音开头，也不能连读。
