知识目标:
1.能听、说、认读Let’s talk 中的单词和句子。
2.熟练掌握句子What’s the date? It’s …并会在生活中询问及回答具体生日日期,并能运用Who has a birthday in…?询问及调查生日。
能力目标:
提高学生听、说、读、演的能力,培养学生熟练运用日常交际用语询问日期、生日的语言交际能力和观察、实践和创新的能力。
情感策略目标:
培养学生情景中主动、灵活地运用语言,在生活中快乐地使用英语。
教学重点和难点:
重点:能熟练掌握具体日期的表达法。
难点:学生能熟练综合运用各种句式提问生日。

教学过程:
Two minutes before class: speak in month words with the first letter.
Step1:Warm-up
1. Greetings.
T: What day is it today? Ss: It’s Friday.
T: What season is it now? Ss: It’s spring.
T: Which month is it now? Ss: It's April.
2. Play a game: quick response.(From the ordinal numbers to the date.)
Step2: Presentation
1. Learn: What’s the date?
T: It’s April now. What’s the date today? (ppt呈现2014年4月的日历,圈出4月4日。
)It’s April 4th.
Guess: What’s the meaning of the date?
Ss:日期。
T: What’s the date today? means …
Ss:今天几月几号?
T: read the sentences.
T show some dates, let Ss ask and answer.
2. Learn: Who has a birthday in April?
T: Who has a birthday in April? Please hands up.
Let Ss ask their birthdays’ dates using the sentences: What’s the date?
T: My birthday is in October, Who has a birthday in October,too? (Ss hands up),then ask the dates.
3. learn the dialogue
① listen and answer two questions.

② read the dialogue and check the answers.
