Unit 4 Lesson 23

一、教学目标:

通过故事复习巩固比较级和最高级的用法,培养学生的阅读能力,教育学生做事要用心刻苦。

二、重、难点

比较级和最高级的用法

三、教学过程:

Step1:Reviewing comparatives and superlatives .

Step2: T shows the pictures and introduces about the three little pigs briefly.

Step3:Ask students to read the story (They can help each other or use dictionaries

to understand the new words ).

T shows the cards of the new words and asks students to read them.

Step4: T raises questions:

1. Who is the laziest pig?What does he use to build the house?

2. Who uses sticks to build a house?Is he careless?

3. Which house is the strongest? Who builds it?

4. Does the wolf eat the pigs?Why?

Ask students to read it again and discuss the questions.

Step5: Answer the questions.

Step6: Ask students to do the exercises.

Step7: Ask students to find out the important words and sentences according to the

hint.

Step8: Ask students to retell the story according to the blackboard.

Step9: Ask students to act out the story.

Step10: Ask students to say what they’ve learnt from the story.

复习巩固Unit1—Unit3的主要内容,培养学生听、说、读、写能力及合作精神。

二、重、难点:

如何描绘人的样子,正确使用比较级和最高级

三、教学过程:

Step1:Reviewing the words and sentences

Step2: Ask students to listen and match.

First,listen; Second, match; Third, check the answer.

Step3: Ask each student to draw a new friend and introduce him or her to their

partners.

Step4: Ask students to compare their friends with their partners.

(Practise comparatives)

Step5: Ask students to compare all the new friends in their group .

(Practise superlatives ).

Step6: Ask students to read .

Step7: Ask students to answer questions about C to make sure whether they’ve

understood.

Step8: Ask students to match.

Step8: Check the answers.

Step9: Ask students to read D and introduce their friends.

Step10: Ask students to write according to D .
