内容标准:How can we become good learners?
基础教育阶段英语课程的总体目标是培养学生的综合语言运用能力。课标指出初三学生要有较明确的英语学习动机和积极主动的学习态度;能听懂教师有关熟悉话题的陈述并参与讨论;能就日常生活的各种话题与他人交换信息并陈述自己的意见;能读懂7-9年级学生阅读的简单读物和报刊、杂志,克服生词障碍,理解大意;能根据阅读目的运用适当的阅读策略;能根据提示起草和修改小作文;能与他人合作,解决问题并报告结果,共同完成学习任务;能对自己的学习进行评价,总结学习方法;能利用多种教育资源进行学习;进一步增强对文化差异的理解与认识。
本单元的话题是“学会学习”,按照课本要求学生在本单元结束时学生的基本知识要掌握:
1.能够用目标语谈论如何学习;
2.能够正确by + doing结构描述自己的学习方式和方法;
3.能掌握有关学习方面的短语与词汇;
4.能听懂并读懂描述学习困难及克服困难的文段和优秀学习者学习方法的文段;
5.能够运用丰富的语言描写学法建议的信。要具备的能力:
6.能够读懂学习方法文章,并掌握简单的阅读技巧回答问题和提取信息。

课标解读
本单元话题为学会学习,讲述了学习的障碍及相对于的解决问题的方法,对学生有重要意义。Section
A侧重英语学习的方法,借此学习、训练相关语言内容及技能。本阶段教学结束时学生们应当重点掌握并能够熟练、正确地运用以下内容:
功能及句型结构方面:How do you study? I study by ... How can I ...? You can...;
词汇方面:教材所呈现的与学习主题相关的单词和各种表达英语学习方法的短语;
语法方面:用by接动词ing结构表达方式方法。
在话题上,Section B 是在学习方式方法话题的基础上,将主题延伸至大范围内的学习困难及解决方案,进而在通过阅读课文引申到优秀学习者的学习方法上;语言上,在巩固Section A 所学语言结构的基础上进一步丰富了与学习相关的话题词汇;技能上,讲听、说能力综合训练,突出阅读训练,由读促写;

教材分析:
本节教学设计是新人教九年级英语第一单元,源于本人真实的教学。采用与标题有关的学习者为话题导入,层层递进。本节课1a部分首先列举出一些常用的学习英语的方法,并让学生补充更多自己的学习方法,引入本单元的讨论话题。然后在1b和1c部分进行关于如何准备考试的听力训练,以及对话活动,进一步营造学习氛围,调动学生的积极性。
情感目标:
通过对学习方法的学习,培养学生用正确而科学的方法做事的能力,明白“有付出,才有回报”。并在教学中渗透法制教育:《刑法》和《教育法》。
教学目标:

教学重难点:
1. 学会运用how来询问做事方式
2. 学会运用by + doing的结构表达做事方式。by 介词,表示“通过……方法或途径”,译成“靠、通过”。by后面可以加名词或动名词短语。
