《山楂树之恋》英文读后感The Chinese film "Under the Hawthorn Tree" (Mountain Hawthorn Tree Love) is a touching and heartfelt story of love and sacrifice during the Cultural Revolution.Set in the rural province of Hunan in the 1970s, the film centers around the forbidden romance between a young schoolteacher, Jing (Zhou Dongyu), and a teenage boy, Sun (Shawn Dou), who is sent to the countryside for "re-education." Jing is determined to keep her feelings for Sun hidden, as their love is illegal and could result in severe punishment. However, as their feelings deepen and their connection grows stronger, the two must navigate the dangerous currents of love, politics, and social norms.Director Zhang Yimou has created a visually stunning and emotionally powerful film that captures the raw beauty of rural China and the sense of longing and loss that comes with forbidden love. The cinematography is breathtaking, with sweeping images of the mountainous countryside, the vast fields of corn, and the ancient hawthorn tree that serves as a powerful symbol of love and sacrifice. The film's themes of love, sacrifice, and injustice are timeless, and the story is an important reminder of the power of human connection and the destruction that can be wrought by political ideologies. Jing and Sun's love is simple and pure, and the film does an excellent job of portraying the complexities of their relationship and the challenges they face. The performances of Zhou Dongyu and Shawn Dou areexceptional, and their chemistry on screen is palpable. Both actors bring depth and nuance to their characters, and their performances are some of the most compelling in recent Chinese cinema. "Under the Hawthorn Tree" is a poignant and powerful film that deserves to be seen by audiences around the world. It is a reminder that love can thrive in even the most difficult circumstances and that the human spirit can endure even the greatest oppression.。

很久以前就听说,,文学创作有两大主题永不过时:爱情与死亡。
For a long time ,I’ve heard love and death as two themes of literature creating that would never be out of style .其实这两个不相干又亲密的靓词就是在简捷而又概括的总结人生的真谛,被文学家们宠爱的原因极为简单:能引起每个人的共鸣------ 试想,有谁不愿品尝爱情?有谁能逃脱死亡?Actually, these two words seems to be close but have no contact ,they tell us the truth of life in a concise and wrapround way. The reason why writers love these two words is pretty simple------they are resonant. Just think. Is there a person who is unwilling to taste the sweet of love,or can escape from death? The answer may be NO 人们最易被爱情感动,更易被死亡震撼!把二者淋漓尽致的融化于同一作品中,能给人的是什么?当然是感动中的震撼,又或是震撼的感动!People can easily be moved by love ,even easilier shocked by death. What would an art that perfectly mix both love and death bring to us? Of curse,it would be moving shock, or shocking affect.这就是《山楂树之恋》给人的感觉:一种久违的感动。

开满兔儿伞花的地方读后感"Under the Hawthorn Tree" is a heartwarming and poignant novel written by Ai Mi. Set during the Cultural Revolution in China, the story revolves around Jingqiu, a young girl who falls in love with a young man named Sun Jianxin. As I read through the pages filled with beautiful descriptions of the hawthorn tree and the blossoming rabbit umbrella flowers, I couldn't help but be captivated by the emotions and struggles of the characters. The novel provides a glimpse into the harsh realities of life during the Cultural Revolution. It portrays the struggles and sacrifices that people had to endure, as well as the immense pressure to conform to the ideals of the time. Through the eyes of Jingqiu, we witness the hardships faced by her family and the constant fear of being denounced. The author skillfully portrays the emotional turmoil and the resilience of the characters, making it impossible not to feel a deep connection with them. One of the most striking aspects of the novel is the vivid and evocative descriptions of nature. The hawthorn tree, with its delicate white flowers, becomes a symbol of hope and resilience in the face of adversity. The image of the tree, standing tall and proud amidst the chaos, serves as a reminder that beauty can still thrive even in the darkest times. Similarly, the rabbit umbrella flowers, with their vibrant colors and delicate petals, represent the fleeting moments of happiness and love that Jingqiu and Sun Jianxin share. The love story between Jingqiu and Sun Jianxin is both tender and bittersweet. Despite the obstacles they face, their love for each other remains unwavering. Their relationship becomes a source of solace and strength in a world filled with uncertainty and fear. The authorbeautifully captures the innocence and purity of their love, making it impossible not to root for their happiness. However, the ending of the novel is heartbreaking, leavinga lingering sense of sadness and longing.Through the story of Jingqiu and Sun Jianxin, the novelalso explores themes of sacrifice and selflessness. The characters are willing to risk everything for their loved ones, even if it means giving up their own happiness. This selflessness is a reflection of the resilience and strength of the human spirit, even in the face of unimaginable hardships.Overall, "Under the Hawthorn Tree" is a remarkablenovel that transports readers to a different time and place. It is a story of love, resilience, and the indomitable human spirit. The beautiful descriptions of nature, the emotional depth of the characters, and the exploration of universal themes make it a truly unforgettable read. It serves as a reminder that even in the darkest times, love and hope can still bloom like the rabbit umbrella flowersin a field filled with hawthorn trees.。

Under the Hawthorn Tree
Several days ago, I watched the movie Under the Hawthorn Tree, which was the hottest one in September nine. Frankly speaking, I was willing to believe the pure and beautiful love that exist in this movie.
The story happened around 1975. The heroine JingQiu was a pretty girl. Because of the historical problems of her family, she always felt herself inferior. LaoSan, the handsome son of a commander, was full of literary talent and paid much attention to affection. They two loved each other at the first sight. He waited JingQiu for the right time to marry her. When all of JingQiu' wishes realized, he died of leukemia. From my point of view, this movie mainly told us that there was a man, who could love one person in this way at that peculiar time. Each of us was longed for a person who could accompany us forever. LaoSan said, if you live, I'll live; if you die, I'll die truly. My dear, don't be afraid. If I died , there would be an angle who love you instead of me.
From the love story of JingQiu and LaoSan, I know that the love and affection will develop into a habit at last. Falling in love or separating, we all keep our habit and don't want to let it go. As time passes, we'll treat it with indifference in the end.
One of my seniorities, he wrote a poem in Chinese after watching this movie. I like it so much that I tried to translate it into English.
True Love
In that unrestful autumn ,
the hawthorn tree becomes red all around .
But it never leaves a bit of sweet .
The sky is so blue ,
the moon is so round ,
but there's no space for the lovers .
The red flower is just like rumour ...
Pure love resembles a hawthorn flower ,
which is spotlessly white and dazzling.
You set out unwittingly,
yet your soul has evaporated like mists.
Please open your eyes ,
to see your JingQiu once more .
You departs from the world ,
how could you let herself to undertake the yearning ? Another autumn comes along ,
hawthorn flowers bloom and all is white.
Your face could never be seen again,
you sleep a long sleep under the hawthorn tree.。
