I IntroductionHero is a somewhat subjective concept. It generally refers to someone whose ability is beyond the ability of ordinary people, they can lead common people to do something meaningful. Of course, heroes also have their own distinct characters, which are different from nations, countries or regions and so on.In spite of different personalities of heroes, hero worship exists almost in every type of culture. Heroism, result of hero worship, represents special social cultural pursuit of a culture and to some extend influences the development of a society. However, the definition of the social value of heroism differs with cultures. In this thesis, the author attempted to analyse the hero image of Hiccup in movie How to train your dragon so as to discuss the characters of American hero. By this way, we are available to have a better understanding about their values and outlook on life. In addition, by comparing the similarities and differences of heroism in both America and China in detail, we will have a more profound understanding about the cultural differencise between China and America.II Literature ReviewPrevious scholars have made a concrete explaination about heroism and have a brief introduction about its background.2.1 Definition of HeroismAlong with the progress of human civilization, the understanding of heroism has been formed into two aspects. One is the humanitarian spirit values gradually took the place of the past narrow nationalism, nationalism and racialism values. Heroism has a wide range of significance about mankind spiritual. On the other hand, on behalf of many kinds of culture and different national values, the heroism of different countries in mutual collisions have been constantly understanding and learning from each other. Heroism with the trend of human unity and other various cultural values will always be a pair of contradiction. The United States as a representative of western culture system promoted their cultural values with its strong economic strength. To speak more specificly, that…s to advocate the concept of American heroism and shape touching hero image to establish the leading position of western culture .As the globalized world today, in addition to the economic strength, it‟s more important to emphasize cultural diversity and the coexistence of various values. The view above is from a British writer named Carlisle in his book The heroes and the hero worship. He did a simple elaboration about poeple…s understanding to the heroism today so as to emphasize the significance of cultural diversity and coexistence of different values. Well, the author‟s opinion is just consistent with my writing purpose. This thesis is based on the contrast of the American hero and Chinese hero to discuss western values and their outlook on life, so that we can better understand the western culture, their way of thinking and their belief to strengthen the ideological exchanges between Chinese and western and promote the fusion of their values.2.2 Background of American HeroIn The hero complex in American film, the author Zhou Xiaoling claimed that heroes are the product of group life. As early as ancient times, somebody outstanding in intelligence or in physical strength would appear as pioneer when people felt powerless in front of nature. Among these leaders, those who are superior in character than the ordinary people can be crowned by the title of “hero”. The emergence of the hero came as the public psychological worship to hero, the dreaming of supernormal ability and the desire to succeed. I n everyone‟s inner heart, there is a deep hero complex and worship or yearning to the hero which no doubt can cause our resonance. Film is undoubtedly one of the most powerful art forms. Hollywood as the American “dreamworks” has been constantly weaving a variety of fascinating dreams from the day it began to work. “The hero myth” is without doubt one of the most successful and traditional dream modes. Countless heroes came out from the screen, their behaviors have been widely known, hero complex has become one of the distinct characteristics in American movies. Zhou Xiaoling eludicated the reason about the yearing to hero and enabled us to understand mass psychology to hero worship. In the article The basic conditons of super civilian hero in American film, the author QiJin argued that “superman”, “spiderman”and “swordsman”these three series of film title are translated as “man”, can be called Hollywood “SanXia” movies. While, in these movies, heroes have supernatural ability, at the same time are ordinary people in daily life, so it can be called them super “civilian hero” with supernatural power. The three films has striking consistency in the literature source, building common American modern myths. America‟s “SanXia” movies ar e adapted from cartoon, as modern myth persuiting perfection of human, reflect people‟s deep potential conscious and unconscious. Why “civilian hero” movie like “SanXia” series in Hollywood are so popular? To explain this, we should get to know about the society and several historical events of the United States. The scholars argued that the appearance of this kind of film is closely related with its national unconscious existing deeply in the United States. So to speak, because of the unconscious desire tothe civilian hero among American people, this type of film is provided for a good opportunity to occupy the marketing. The pursuit of American with deep personal heroism complex and affirmation to each individual‟s value render the appearance of “civilian hero” movie. The author mainly analyzed the background and foundation of the born of its civilian hero, presenting a good reference to understand the civilian hero complex in the United States.Previous scholars have researched people‟s psychology to the hero worship and the background and forming reasons of heroism plot in America. So in this paper, the author will focus on comparing the differencies in both Chinese hero and American hero, instead of the reasons or background about the formation of hero. Heroism in human society has a long history, it has, in fact, already become a kind of cultural phenomenon which can reflect the basic ideology of eastern and western. Such as Chen duxiu pointed, “western nation lay emphasis on individualism and fighting, by contrast, the security of country and family peace is in the top priority of Oriental nation ”, In this paper, the author attempted to analyse the hero image of Hiccup in movie How to train your dragon so as to discuss the characteristics of American hero, by this way, we are available to have a better understanding about their values and outlook on life. In addition, through the comparison between Chinese hero image and American hero image, we are able to get distinct identities of values and views both in China and the United States, thereby to have a more profound understanding about the cultural differencise between China and America, or even between eastern and western.III Analysis of Hero Image in How to Train Your DragonIn order to get to know about the characteristics of American hero we should analyse a specific American hero as the example. During the analysis process, the author try to from three aspects to analyse the hero Hiccup, as follows: firstly, Hiccup‟s growing background, then it‟s Hiccup‟s personality, the last it‟s his interpersonnal relations.3.1 Hiccup’s growing backgroundIn the film how to train you dragon, the Viking tribe is living in a tough environment, where is cold, lack of food and barren landed, and they are natural habitants living by hunting and fishing. When refer to how to deal with the relationship with natural communication, the best method is still conquer. When talking about the great Viking spirit, Hiccup‟s father, Stoick, as the leader of the tribe, stated that the Viking warrior spirit is strong enough to crush mountains, bare forests and flat sea. With the ethical values of human centralism, the Vikings believed that they are the only subject and the slaughter of the nature. They are proud of their strong power. A huge shape and thick hair are the characteristics of strong Viking warriors, and their armor, helmet, sharp axe and big iron hammer and so on is the flag presenting their great power. Therefore, according to this standard, Gangly Hiccup is considered to be lack of the characteristics of the Viking warrior, for he is not full of muscle and seems to lack of courage and honor. Hiccup's father is a strong and mighty leader, however, his son is thin and small, a very alternative boy. Under the background of the Vikings ancient view that power is everything, dragon become must be conquered object for the Vikings. Killing dragon has been a traditional culture passing down from the generation of the Vikings. The dragon has been put on a label of dangerous in their ancient books. Young people all were tought that dragon must be slaughtered. Theirdefinition to hero also make a profound influence, to their cultural tradition, thus, those who can fight with dragon and successfully kill dragon is credited as the Viking warriors. As the son of the Viking leader, Hiccup should set an example to take the lead to become a Viking warrior honored by his people. However, either from the appearance or inner part, Hiccup is not compatible with a Viking warrior. A thin body can not fight with the fierce dragon, what‟s worse, Hiccup would bring unexpected troubles in the battle from time to time, so his father and other people in the tribe never hold out any hope on Hiccup, even are a little bit disappointed. They would fight with dragon rather than stay to take care of Hiccup. In general, Hiccup just like a square peg in a round hole, .growing up in different surroundings. Though he looks weak, does not like a Viking warrior of strong body, in the harsh living conditions, Hiccup still has exercised out resolute and unyielding character. Although Hiccup did not fully accepted the view that Viking warriors should be strong and brave enough to kill dragon, also influenced by it, such as great courage and superior judgment.3.2 Hiccup’s PersonalityHiccup‟s living environment contribute to his indomitable and fortitude character, view about the brave Viking warriors led to his great courage and observant insight. Now let‟s make a brief analysis about Hiccup‟s personality. First of all, he is very clever and has strong practical ability. He is good at using his mind to invent many kinds of instruments, which prove that he is a diligent thinker with a pair of practicable hands. Every time when people are in fighting with dragons, he will always use himself-made instruments trying to help his people, but mostly they are failed, and sometimes even do a disservice. From this point we can see that Hiccup is not a rigid person, he won‟t blindly obey what others told him what to do or just stay in situ. He is eager for a breakthrough and attempts to prove himself. This also helps to lay a fundation about Hiccup‟s shake and query on the traditional concept of the Viking warriors.Secondly, Hiccup is kind-hearted and nonconfirmed in stereotypes. When his knife stabed towards Toothless, he saw T oothless‟ eyes were full of fear and despair. In this moment, he hesitated and doubted that dragons were really ferocious and evil as they assumed. Finally, he gave up killing Toothless, and even feed Toothless with fish since Toothless had been hurt without ability to feed itself. Such actions would be absolutely incredible to people in the Viking tribe. Abandoning the old idea of dragon from his predecessors, Hiccup made a close contact with the dragon, Toothless, and understood the true nature of dragons. He formed his own idea to dragon, established a profound friendship with Toothless. They trust eath other, never desert the other part even in need. In additon the western culture just advocate the ability of self-practice and self–cognitive. There is no absolute authority and truth, no unchanged models. They dislike to stick in the mub, to obey blindly without any doubts. Finally, Hiccup was brave enough to challenge fixed idea, using his own perspective to get to know about dragons. In the film, Hiccup and Toothless fought with the final boss---a huge greedy dragon, which again shows his great courage. At the same time, he could lead his companies wisely to attack the weaknesses of the huge dragon, which also presents his special leadership and conducting faculty. In the western views, full of strategy, wise and leadership are all qualifies that a great man should possess. Especially in the election, such abilities are considered as the top priority.3.3 Hiccup’s Interpersonal RelationshipHiccup‟s father is the leader of the Vikings with strong power, the V ikings‟mission has been killing dragons. Every generated leader has the long-cherished wish to find the dragon‟s lair and eradicate it. However, his son, Hiccup as a thin and small boy, would never grow up as his father expected. Hiccup didn‟t not have such a surreal dream that one day he would be as strong and powerful as his father either. In such a background, the relationship between father and son was in a quandary, thus, both of them were eager for get the identity from the other part, but there was always a gap between them because of their different beliefs and personality.Even though Hiccup still hoped to prove his ability to his father. However, things always go contrary to one‟s wishes, instead of slaughtering a dragon, in a strange combination of circumstances, the young and inexperienced Hiccup became friends with a dragon, Toothless. His father was extremely disappointed with Hiccup after knowing the truth. When his father led people to smash the dragon‟s lair, the huge dragon was too strong to conquer and many people of the tribe had been badly hurt and felt scared. At this time Hiccup and his friends rode their tame dragons to help to fight with that huge dragon. This moment, his father seemed to understand something so that he released Toothless and let Toothless go back to help Hiccup. Finally, the huge dragon was defeated and all the people were saved. Hiccup made their people realized that all their previous views to dragons were totally wrong, dragons also can be very friendly and tractable. To try to get his father‟s understanding, instead of compelling his father to accept Toothless, Hiccup use another way to let the father know that Toothless also had its own lovely and justice aspects. On the other hand, in the critical moment Hiccup‟s father can also timely abandon the fix ideas having been passed from generation to generation and give support to Hiccup. So to speak, their relationship was rejuvernated by their mutual understanding and considering. What‟s this film advocated is mutual understanding in human beings and living harmony with nature. The final victory of Viking people was not achieved by force or violence, but can attribute to the union of all the Vikings plusing tacit cooperation of Hiccup and Toothless. It is thus clear that violence and force only can led to temporarily obedient and yield, while sincere love between people can obtain long harmonious. In Hiccup‟ lif e there was another important person, his lover, Astrid. Astrid was a frank, sincere, brave and was born with stubborn and competitive spirit of the Viking warriors. Having witnessed the good partner relations between Hiccup and Toothless, not only she put down the hostility towards Toothless, also became kind and friendly to Toothless, from this point we can see that Astrid was very considerate and thoughtful, she knew well that Hiccup was in a circumstances of contradictionand on the horns of a dilemma, so she gave the best support to hin. When Hiccup‟s father and people knew that Hiccup went close with a dragon, their hope to Hiccup from the top dropped down to the bottom There was nothing Hiccup could do but to helplessly watch his people risking their lives to fight with the huge dragon. At this moment, Astrid stood by him again when he felt dispirited and discouraged. Under the inspire of Astrid, Hiccup gained the courage to put himself up again to save his people. Astrid's good character and her firm belief and indomitable spirit also is undoubtedly became another bright spot of the movie. There is no deny that Hiccup‟s success is not only because of his courage to challenge stereotype, understandings and supports from his relatives, friends and lover also took a large proportion.IV Characteristics of American HeroIn this paper, the author …s opinion is that the most conspicuous characteristics of American hero is the personal heroism. Personal heroism means a person who is divorced from the masses, believed personal power very much and to perform certain social mission using heroism thought and behavior. Seeing individualism for the principle, it exaggerated or discomfort local emphasis on individual in social life and the role of historical activities, denying people's power and wisdom. It shows that undeserved reputation, self-righteousness, prided himself on all as the characteristic. So the following three characters of American hero are all surrounded by personal heroism, to give a more detailed analysis on it.4.1 IndividualismIndividualism, which has various explanations in the British Encyclopedia, is a moral, political, and social philosophy, emphasizing individual liberty, the primary importance of the individual and the “Perso nal Independence. Individualism is the core of the American culture. It focuses on the satisfaction of one‟s own desire and interests through self-reliance. The word individualism was first promoted by the French political reviewer Alexis de Tocqueville in his classical book Democracy in America published in 1835.As expounded in Tocqueville‟s book Democracy in America, Individualism has three meanings: Firstly, Individualism, as an aim of values, emphasizes on oneself is the aim of one‟s words and behaviors. “s elf” has the most important value and the society is only the method to realize “self”.Secondly, as a thought of political democracy, individualism opposes any intervention from authority, nation, collective or individuals. It put high value on the s logan of “free government” which leads to the spread of anarchism. Thirdly, as a thought of economy and possession system, individualism advocates sustaining private system of possessions. In American‟s social values, Equal opportunity and personal freed om are the basic foundation for every member of the society to achieve their self-fulfillment. Andliberty and equality have the tightest link with Individualism, so Individualism is viewed as the basic social value for American people. In Habits of the Heart the author Robert Bellah, Richard Madsen pointed out that Individualism was the core of American value. Americans believed in personal dignity and the sacred rights which were inviolable. The value system of individualism is mainly seen in the following fields: individual is the center and core of all values; society is the means to the realization of personal goals in which individual is the only purpose; morally speaking, all men are created equal and each person is entitled to free choice of life style. Since the birth of individualism, it has been influencing American society and has penetrated into every aspects of American life.Individualists considered that the function of a nation was to supply service for individual development. The aim of the activities of human beings was self-interests even sometimes this self-centered system developed into egoism. Individualists advocated that one should live by his or her own lifestyle and it is one‟s personal rights to live without the correspondence to the conformity. There are obviously different explanations in the Catholic Encyclopedia: Individualism is not the opposite of socialism, except in a very general and incomplete way. Individualism is scarcely a principle for it exhibits too many degrees, and it is too general to be called a theory or a doctrine. It means that the individual conscience or the individual reason is not merely the decisive subjective rule; rather it has no objective authority or standard which is bound to take into account. In American society, different people have different understanding of Individualism. Most American believed that it is self-reliance, self-improvement, self-expression, the forces to personal success and social development. Benjamin Franklin was the successful representative of Individualism in the early American history. Benjamin Franklin who was born very poor, gained his success through his hard working which was considered the only way to wealth at that time.Americans have prized success through individual efforts. The heroes they have shaped, whether it is the white settlers expanding westward or American soldiersfighting overseas, police officers or firefighters, generally have similar traits: individualism. They are independent, self-confidence and have a strong will, and finally they achieve their goals and cherish their values. We can went back to the hero Hiccup in How to train your dragon. Tough Hiccup was influenced by the traditional tribe of the Vikings, when he met with Toothless, he didn‟t comply with the old rules to kill Toothless, but followed his own wishes to attempt to get on with Toothless. Finally, he found his own unique way to get on well with Toothless, thus, achieved his own wish and realized his goal. In this movie, individual spirit again has been fully represented.4.2 Democratic SpiritTo understand the democratic spirit of the American, we should have a brief talk about democracy. According to one definition, democracy is a political system in which all the members of the society have an equal share of formal political power. In modern representative democracy, this formal equality is embodied primarily in the right to vote. Democracy is a non-violent alternative to civil war. It involves the casting of votes to determine the winner of the side to govern the country. It can also encompass social, economic and cultural conditions that enable the free and equal practice of political self-determination.Based on the concept of democracy, democratic spirit highlights America's sense of social equality and mutual respect. Americans are anti-authorities, they neither obey to absolute authority, nor surrender under the authority of the leaders. From the colonial period, the pilgrims have put a strict supervision on their power. People have the freedom to put judgments on their leaders, anyone would without exception even those who are the president enjoying a high prestige and great honor such as Washington, Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Roosevelt Americans pay attention to working hard not empty talk. Early pioneer spirit has been passing down. To the Americans life is of survival and development, adapting and changing the environment, making it more suitable for their life. Americans believe that everyone can be someone and filled with practical spirit. Americans are inclined to legal reform not violent revolution. In hundreds of years of political of the United States, when divergences or branched were emerged, that would tend to settle them down bynegotiation or national discussion.Democratic spirit is a spirit of pursuing freedom and equality. It is emphasis greatly in America. Today heroes are free from excessive political and social controls, and they have an equal right to express their own ideas and an equal chance for success. In the film called Milk, Harvey Milk was the first gay rights activist and politician in American history. He once said, “Politics is not important, win or lose, as long as you make an announcement, I'm in here, then they will receive attention.” He fought the right for gay people. So we can say American people have an equal chance to control their destiny and cherish their own values. This movie delivers a democratic spirit to us.Of course, in the film how to train your dragon also show us this typical American spirit. Hiccup didn‟t unquestionablely stick on the stereotype having existed from many years, but made a breakthrough to form a newly idea from dragons. On the other hand, the heroine Astrid also gave a fully respect and comprehension to Hiccup‟ standpoint after knowing the partnership between Hiccup and Toothless.4.3 American Dream and American Spirit“I had reasoned this out in my mind, there was one of two things I ha d a right too, liberty or death. If I could not have one, I would have the other. American spirit has an effect on how Americans live today. Someone who has pride and respect for our country and feeling in their heart is someone with American spirit. Someone who fight for their country, someone who is open minded, someone who goes out of their way to dress up to show their pride and patriotism.” The sentences above are quoted from a speaker‟s view about American spirit. I think it was a concise summarize to American spirit. Indeed, in many films, we can see that different heroes campaigned for freedom, or fight for evil, they were justice and upright men, and they never gave up. Then let‟s talk about American dream. What is American dream, everyone has his own conception. In my opinion, America dream is a popular belief that hard work will bring forth America's bounty in the form of material well-being. Whoever you are and wherever you were born, you only need to devote yourself to course or business, you will find the life‟s bounty. There is a proverb in china, which is “do not ask hero where he comes from.” So, the American dream tells us don‟t give up easily and do your best. As the films says:today is present and tomorrow is mystery. If you are going to act it now, you will have the chance to accomplish your dream. We used to connect American dream with American spirit together for their conception are mutual involved. In the early year of American history, many immigrants chose to leave the older European society because they believed that they had a better chance to succeed in America. Many people think highly of self-made men, because they have a spirit of struggling. Hollywood shapes a lot of civilian heroes, and anybody can be a hero like businessmen, lawyer, police officers, firefighters and doctors. They can achieve American dream if they work hard and keep going. Apparently we can find the trace of American dream and spirit from Hiccup. He has been struggling to fight with the huge dragon, to do all his best to make the other Vikings accepted his cognition about the real nature of dragon. The film finally ended with a warm-hearting and hopeful ending. Though Hiccup remained only one leg, meanwhile, Toothless merely has half tail, when they tow stood together, they seemed to make a complementary to each other. They were disabled, none would despise them or keep distance from them, on the contrary, they regarded them as their heroes. Their future still full of hope and wonder. With the future mindness, both Hiccup and Toothless and all Vikings would look ahead for their vigorous future.V Characteristics of Chinese HeroAfter analysing the characteristics of American hero, we know that the characters of American hero are mainly influenced by its individual spirit, independence and expected for freedom, which formed personal heroism view. However, the characters of Chinese hero are deeply influenced by collectivism and Confucian culture. In this part, the author will analyse three typical characters of Chinese hero.5.1 Elegant and AffinityIn China, due to a few thousand years of Confucian culture and the feudal autocratic monarchy, China's hero image on the film is the embodiment of justice, gentle and kind hearted. So to speak, almost heroes in China have the affinity-based character and are elegant type.Under the influence of Confucianism in China that is ceremonies, so most heroes of the movie looks gentle, not rough, scholars concentrated flavor, such as the Bai Li in Tiger et Dragon, Chong Linghu in Swordsman Such images meet people‟s traditional “refined” aesthetic standards. They are the typical types of elegant hero.On the other hand, China does not pay attention to the heroism of “conceit, but only I can do”, but believe in solidarity that all people are brothers under the earth, so the movie characters are the same as brothers and sisters next door, very friendly, very accommodating, in another word, they are all affinity Such as Wuji Zhang in Dragon by day, Tao in “way back, such as coax”, Xiaolan Ji in Iron Eloquent Ji Xiaolan, etc.5.2 Sacrifice SpiritIn many films, we can see that most heroes would sacrifice their individual interest for the interest of the country. Such as Huang Feihong---a great hero from China and Huo Yuanjia---a respectable patriot who fought till death before surrendered. We honor them not only because they are guardians of our liberty, but because they embody the spirit of service; a willingness to find meaning in something greater than themselves. We honor them not only because they are guardians of our liberty, but because they embody the spirit of service; a willingness to find meaning in。
反映钱学森工匠精神的英语作文高中全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1Qian Xuesen: The Humble Rocket Scientist who Soared to Great HeightsWhen I was a little kid, I didn't dream of becoming a famous scientist or anything like that. I just wanted to build cool toys and gadgets that could fly or zoom around. Little did I know that by following my curiosity and tinkering endlessly, I would learn about one of the greatest minds in science - a humble man named Qian Xuesen who showed me the true meaning of craftsmanship.Qian Xuesen was born way back in 1911 in China. Even as a young boy, he was totally obsessed with taking things apart and putting them back together again. He would dismantle clocks, radios, you name it, just to understand how they worked. Instead of playing normal kids' games, he spent hours sketching designs for all kinds of weird contraptions. Just an incurable tinkerer from the start! After finishing top of his class in college, Qian could have had any job he wanted. But he decided to move all the way to America to study rocket science at the best aerospace schools. That's how badly he wanted to learn and pursue his passion. While other students looked down on the hands-on mechanical work, Qian embraced it wholeheartedly. He wasn't just interested in the theories; he wanted to craft actual rocket engines with his own hands.Qian's big break came when he was recruited to work on super advanced and top secret rocket projects for the U.S. military. As the lead scientist, he could have just thrown around orders. Instead, Qian rolled up his sleeves andliterally got his hands dirty assembling rocket components right alongside the technicians. Why? Because he understood that true mastery comes from doing, not just studying.Under Qian's guidance, the team produced one rocket after another with remarkable speed. They accomplished in months what other teams took years to do. And it was all thanks to Qian's incredible craftsmanship and tireless work ethic. Whether it was crunching mind-boggling equations or soldering tiny wires, he approached every single task with the same intensity and perfection. No detail was too small for Qian. But as an ethnic Chinese, Qian faced terrible discrimination and suspicion during the Cold War paranoia of the 1950s. Despite making brilliant contributions to America's rocket program, he was unfairly accused of being a communist spy. In a terrible injustice, Qian was secretly kidnapped and forced to stand trial in a sham court case. Found guilty based on zero evidence, he was stripped of his hard-earned respect and prestige. Most people would have become totally bitter after such a traumatic experience. Not Qian. Despite his tremendous sacrifices, he chose the high road of patriotism and returned to serve his homeland of China. When he arrived in 1955, China's rocket and space program didn't even exist yet. But Qian didn't let that stop him. Starting from scratch, he gathered some of the nation's brightest young minds and personally trained them in the cutting-edge science that he had mastered.Under his remarkable leadership and teaching, China rapidly caught up from way behind. In 1970, they successfully launched their first satellite designed entirely by Qian and his team. It was a huge accomplishment that stunned the world and put China's space program on the map. Qian could have taken all the credit and become a massive celebrity. But characteristically, he shiedaway from the spotlight and just kept working harder than anyone else.Over the next few decades, Qian was the driving force behind every single one of China's biggest aerospace achievements. He demanded absolute perfection in even the tiniest details. If a rocket casing wasn't made with flawless craftsmanship, he would have the entire thing torn apart until it met his towering standards. Thanks to his relentless spirit, China rapidly transformed from a total newbie into a true space superpower capable of launching huge satellites and even human spaceflights.More than anything, Qian was determined to grow a new generation of hungry young scientists and engineers imbued with his spirit of craftsmanship. He mentored countless students one-on-one, always stressing the importance of hands-on experience over just book learning. Qian constantly reminded them, "No matter how talented you are, without real-world practice, your knowledge remains shallow."I feel so fortunate that as a high school student today, I can learn from the shining example of Qian Xuesen's lifelong devotion to craftsmanship. In my science and engineering classes, I've discovered the same unrelenting passion heembodied for never settling until you fully understand every working component at the deepest level. Whether it's rebuilding an engine or writing pages of code, there's a profound satisfaction that comes from mastering every single part through dogged persistence and commitment to doing it right.Just like Qian, I'm not afraid to take things apart, make a mess, and get my hands dirty in the pursuit of learning. I've built my fair share of clunkers and failures over the years. But every flop has taught me something invaluable about not cutting corners or glossing over key details. You have to dive in, work through all the roadblocks, and sweat every little mechanism or line of code until it functions with precision. That's the only way to become a true craftsman who leaves behind a legacy of lasting quality.Looking back on his lifetime of staggering achievements, it's easy to forget that Qian Xuesen was just a regular guy who loved tinkering from the day he was born. He never lost the pure, childlike wonder and curiosity that fueled his early passion projects. Maybe that's the most inspiring part - the realization that if I nurture that same hands-on drive, stay humble, and embrace craftsmanship in everything I do, I too can follow mydreams to the farthest heights, no matter how crazy or impossible they may seem.Qian used to say, "Craftsmanship is like the root of a tree; as long as the root is frozen underground, no matter how severe the winter cold, spring revival is possible." To me, that means no matter how many setbacks or struggles I face in pursuing my lofty ambitions, as long as I remain firmly rooted in the bedrock principles of craftsmanship that Qian Xuesen embodied, I'll be able to overcome any obstacle through knowledge, hard work, and true mastery. With that mindset guiding me, the sky is nowhere near the limit for where my aspirations can soar.篇2Yo dudes! Recently in history class, we learned about this super cool scientist guy named Qian Xuesen. At first I was like "Ugh another boring history lesson" but this dude was actually super interesting.Qian Xuesen was born in 1911 in China. He was always really into science and math from a young age. Like a total brainiac kid. In 1935 he went to study aerospace engineering at MIT in the US which was basically the Harvard of science schools back then. While he was there, Qian made some amazing contributions to rocket science. He and his crew were working on developing long-range rocket missiles for the US military during World War 2. They made some groundbreaking innovations that allowed rockets to go way further and be way more accurate than before. Qian was a total rocket genius! But here's where things get wild. In 1950, Qian got accused of having links to the Communist Party in China. Even though there was no real proof, the US government was freaking out about communism at the time because of the Cold War beef with the Soviet Union. So they locked up Qian in a crappy prison for 5 whole years! Can you imagine? Dude's making the US some of the most advanced rocket technology in the world and their way of saying thanks is throwing him in the slammer. So messed up.Finally in 1955, Qian got deported back to China. And this is where his true craftsmanship spirit kicked in. When he got back, China's science and technology was like 50 years behind the West. Qian could have just chilled and coasted, but instead he got straight to work. This man literally spearheaded building China's entire rocket force and space program from complete scratch! He trainedteams of scientists and engineers, designed facilities and factories, and developed all their rocket prototypes through meticulous testing and refinement. And keep in mind, they had basically no funding or resources compared to NASA. But through hard work and pure skill, they slowly but surely made huge strides.By 1970, Qian and his team had made China's first satellite and successfully launched it into orbit using one of their own rockets! It was a huge achievement that put China in the elite space club with the US and Soviet Union. Of course, it was just the first of many space missions and rockets that followed under Qian's leadership over the next few decades. But it wasn't just the accomplishments themselves that made Qian so remarkable in my eyes. It was his tireless work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement. This dude employed a true craftsman mindset to his scientific work.See, Qian always stressed the importance of "studying the quintessence of things." In other words, really taking the time to understand every single aspect and subtlety involved, no matter how small or nitpicky it might seem. He would pour over calculations and test results, always questioning, always strivingto uncover deeper insights to refine the craftsmanship of China's rockets. And he didn't just apply this mindset to the science itself, but also to the management and team dynamics. Qian was an amazing teacher and mentor who trained his engineers with incredible diligence. He would work side-by-side with them, guiding them step-by-step through problems, cultivating a hunger for knowledge and mastery in his students. The dude created an environment laser focused on constant learning and skill-building.At the same time, Qian preached the importance of staying humble and separating ego from one's work. He emphasized that manufacturing and engineering is a team effort where each person's role is critical. From the mathematicians to the welders, he respected the craftsmanship of every person's unique expertise and contribution to the final product. For Qian, true mastery came from perfecting your own specialized craft, while working in harmony with others to elevate the entire endeavor. On a personal level, Qian lived what he taught through his own lifestyle of extreme discipline and humility. Even after becoming a revered scientific hero in China, dude lived a totally modest life in a basic apartment, didn't care about luxuries, andwas always courteous and down-to-earth with everyone around him. He didn't seek prestige or attention, just fulfilment through the craftsmanship of science and engineering.I'll admit, when we first started learning about Qian Xuesen, I didn't really get what the big deal was at first. But the more I understood his philosophies and mindset, the more I realized this man was truly inspiring in how he pursued his life's work with such integrity and craftsmanship. In our world today, it's so easy to get caught up in looking for shortcuts, achieving surface-level success, and letting our egos run wild with arrogance and complacency. But guys like Qian remind us that TRUE mastery, the kind that creates beautiful and impactful work, can only come through rolling up our sleeves and embracing the endless pursuit of studying, refining, and respecting the craftsmanship in everything we do.Whether you're an artist, a coder, a chef, or a scientist, the principles of Qian's devotion to detail, humility, continuous learning, and upholding high standards in your craft is something we could all take a lot of inspiration from. The man might be considered a legend now, but at his core he was just someone who fell in love with the craftsmanship of engineering and used that passion to create great things. So in a world that often values flash over substance, let's all take a cue from the rocket genius Qian Xuesen on what it truly means to be a craftsman in our respective fields. Embrace the intentional life, chase that perfection of craft, and create work with skill and integrity. Who knows, you might just change the world while you're at it!篇3The Spirit of a Craftsman: Lessons from Qian XuesenHave you ever heard of Qian Xuesen? He was this super smart scientist guy who helped build China's space program and was known as the "Father of Chinese Rocketry." But he wasn't just a brainiac – he had this amazing work ethic and dedication that we can all learn from. Let me tell you a bit about his story.Qian was born in 1911 in Hangzhou, when China was still pretty backwards compared to Western countries. Despite growing up in tough conditions, he was a total genius from a young age. He loved studying math and science and dreamed of becoming an aerospace engineer. In 1935, Qian went to study at MIT and Caltech in the United States. This was a huge opportunity for him to learn from the best minds in rocket science. While he was there, he becamebuddies with the father of modern rocketry himself – a fella named Theodor von Karman. Pretty cool, right?Qian was obsessed with his studies and research. He would spend days and nights in the lab, totally focused on solving complex equations and designing better rocket prototypes. His teachers were blown away by his smarts and work ethic. One professor said Qian had "the brightest mind I have ever met in my life" – and this dude had taught some of the biggest brains around! After getting his master's from Caltech in 1939, Qian went on to do more advanced research. He played a key role in developing missiles and jet propulsion systems that helped the U.S. during World War 2. The guy was making major contributions to cutting-edge technology at just 30 years old!But then in 1950, Qian's life took a crazy turn. He was accused of being a communist and deported back to China, leaving behind his American wife and kids. This must have been so tough on him. But you know what? Qian didn't let it get him down. As soon as he arrived in China, he dug right in and got to work.Despite having hardly any resources or funding, Qian was determined to build China's rocket and space capabilities fromscratch. He recruited a team of brilliant students and set up a secret research base in the countryside. The conditions were super basic – they didn't even have proper lab equipment or materials at first. But Qian didn't care. He rolled up his sleeves and made do with what they had.Under his leadership, the team crafted tools, built wind tunnels, and experimented with different rocket designs using salvaged scraps and homemade parts. Qian set an example of ingenuity, resourcefulness and pure grit that inspired everyone around him. Nothing could shake his passion and commitment to the mission. One story that really stuck with me was about the time they were trying to develop a heat-resistant material for missile nose cones. Qian and his students consulted thick textbooks and pored over complex formulas late into the night. When they couldn't get the ratios right after weeks of trying, Qian didn't give up. He got his hands dirty and did batch after batch of material testing himself in the furnaces until they finally succeeded. Now that's dedication!Qian's diligence, attention to detail and unwavering perseverance in the face of enormous hurdles paid off. In 1960, his team successfully launched one of China's first missiles. Just afew years later, in 1970, China sent its first satellite into orbit using the rocket technology pioneered by Qian and his crew. It was an incredible achievement given how far behind they had started.Throughout his career, Qian authored over 500,000 words of reports and papers meticulously documenting tests, calculations and theories. His lectures, which could go on for 8 hours straight, were legendary for their technical depth. It's said that one40-page speech took him 6 months to prepare – such was his commitment to rigor and getting every detail right.Beyond just being a brilliant scientist, Qian embodied the spirit of a true craftsman. He believed that excellence came through mastering fundamentals, remaining curious, and taking intense pride in your work no matter how unglamorous the task. Qian taught his students that "Meticulous work。
西部之光竞赛英文作文英文:As a westerner, I am proud of my culture and heritage. The western region of my country is known for its vast landscapes, cowboys, and rodeos. It is a place where people are friendly and hardworking.Growing up in the west, I have learned many values that are important to me. One of these values is independence. Westerners are known for being self-sufficient and taking care of themselves. We don't rely on others to get things done, and we don't ask for help unless we really need it.Another value that I have learned is honesty. Westerners are known for being straightforward and telling it like it is. We don't beat around the bush or sugarcoat things. If we have a problem with someone, we tell them to their face. This may seem harsh to some, but it is how we do things in the west.In addition to these values, the west is known for its love of the outdoors. We enjoy hiking, camping, and fishing. We also love our rodeos and country music concerts. These are all ways that we connect with our heritage and our land.Overall, being a westerner is a big part of who I am. I am proud of my culture and the values that I have learned.I believe that these values have helped me to become abetter person and to appreciate the world around me.中文:作为一个西部人,我为我的文化和遗产感到骄傲。

My Understanding of Human NatureHuman nature is one of the most thoroughly studied topics in human history. When we were very young, we had learn that man's nature at birth is good, and some people thought man's nature bad.Henry Fielding said:"it is the nature of such persons to insult and tyrannize over little people". On the face of it, it really seems to bear this out. If you look carefully at our culture in previous civilizations and today, you will find it obvious that humans are uncivilized at heart. Up until several hundred years ago, blacks and other minorities were enslaved, lived and worked in the most disgusting and terrifying conditions. However, look around today, when every day people brutally murder and rape each other for absolutely no reason. In our era, the above arguments take place in many disciplines and many areas of study, from the labs of the psychologists to the political arenas and philosopher’s papers, but what is it? and which one is an example of the human race in its purest form? Are humans inherently good or evil? Human nature is not intrinsically corrupt--it is intrinsically good. Avarice is a bane to human nature. It is often said that greed is the parent of many evils.。
英语作文我心目中的英雄超人60词全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Hero SupermanHi! My name is Tommy and I'm 8 years old. Today I want to tell you all about my favorite superhero ever - Superman! He's the coolest and bravest guy in the whole universe.First of all, Superman has the most awesome superpowers. He can fly through the sky faster than a speeding bullet! He's also stronger than a locomotive train. I saw him lift a whole mountain with his bare hands once. How crazy is that? Superman has x-ray vision too, so he can see through walls. That must come in handy when he's fighting bad guys. Oh, and get this - his eyes can shoot laser beams! Pew pew! He could melt anything with those. But you know what's really cool about Superman? He uses his incredible powers to help people and make the world a better place. Whenever someone's in trouble, he's always there to save the day. Like when that kid got his kite stuck in the tree, or whenthe bank was getting robbed. Superman flies in and stops the bad guys with his super strength and amazing abilities.Superman isn't just strong on the outside though. He's got a heart of gold too. He's kind, brave, and never gives up no matter how tough things get. Even if the meanest villains like Lex Luthor or General Zod try to take him down, Superman keeps fighting for truth and justice. He believes in doing the right thing and protecting the innocent, no matter what.I really look up to Superman because he's selfless and puts others before himself. He could probably take over the world if he wanted with those awesome powers. But instead, he uses them to help people and keep us all safe. Whenever I see him on TV swooping in to stop a disaster, it makes me feel hopeful and proud.Superman is from the planet Krypton originally, but he was raised on Earth by human parents in Smallville. I think that's part of why he wants to protect our world so much - because it's his adopted home. He blends in as a regular guy named Clark Kent, but he's really an alien superhero living among us! How cool is that?I have so many favorite Superman moments, but I'll tell you about my top two. One time, Superman had to stop this hugemeteor from crashing into the city and destroying everything. He flew up and literally punched the meteor into pieces with his bare hands! Ka-pow! Then there was the episode where Lex Luthor invented these robots to take over Metropolis. Superman fought them all off by himself using his heat vision, freezing breath, and super speed. He took down like 20 robots! What a legend. In my opinion, Superman is the number one superhero of all time. He has the sickest powers, but also amazing morals and humanity. I want to grow up to be strong, selfless and heroic just like him. Whenever I'm scared or facing trouble, I remind myself "What would Superman do?" Then I try my best to have courage and do the right thing, just like the Man of Steel.I hope you can see why Superman is so awesome now! He's an extraordinary alien with incredible abilities. But most importantly, he's a true hero who always saves the day and inspires us to be our best selves. Superman gives me faith that no matter how dark this world can seem sometimes, there will always be a brave force for good protecting us. Up, up and away!篇2My Hero SupermanI think Superman is the best superhero ever! He is so cool and can do all sorts of amazing things. I want to tell you all about why I love him so much.First of all, Superman has the coolest superpowers. He can fly just by lifting off the ground. How awesome would that be? You could soar through the clouds and see the whole world from up high. Superman can also shoot laser beams out of his eyes called "heat vision." With a quick look, he can melt through thick metal or start fires. That seems incredibly handy, except you'd have to be really careful not to accidentally laser vision the wrong thing! My favorite Superman power is his super strength though. He is stronger than a billion strong men combined. He can lift entire buildings over his head with ease. Once, I saw him bench press a freight train! Superman uses this strength to stop trains from derailing, punching holes in mountains to make tunnels, and all sorts of other incredible feats. If I had super strength, I would use it to lift my dog Rufus whenever he wanted. He would think it's the best thing ever.Speaking of dogs, Superman has crazy good senses too. His super hearing lets him pick up even the quietest sounds, like a whisper on the other side of the world. His X-ray vision means hecan see through absolutely anything. I bet he uses that to find where my mom hides Christmas presents every year! Superman's smell is also off the charts and better than any dog's nose. To top it off, his eyesight is unbelievably sharp. He can probably read the ingredients on a cereal box from miles away.Superman's best quality though is that he is a real life boy scout. He always does the right thing, follows the rules, and works hard to help others. He never gives up, even when things look impossible. Superman teaches me that being a good person is just as important as having cool powers. Helping your community, being kind to others, and standing up for what you believe in - that's what a real superhero is all about.I especially love the stories of how Superman grew up on his family's farm. His parents were human and adopted him when he arrived from the planet Krypton as a baby. Even though he had crazy powers, his mom and dad raised him to use them responsibly and be a good person. Superman still does chores, eats healthy food, and always listens to his parents. That makes me feel like maybe if I work hard and am obedient, I could grow up to be a superhero too!Another weird weakness Superman has is that he can't see through lead. I don't really get why lead stops his X-ray vision, but it does. So bad guys will sometimes hide in lead boxes if they know Superman is coming. That just seems silly to me. If I could lift buildings over my head, the last thing I would do is play peek-a-boo in a stupid lead box! I would just fly straight at Superman as fast as I could and try to punch him, or shoot him with Kryptonite bullets or something. But I guess the villains aren't as clever as me.My absolute favorite Superman stories are the ones where he has to protect Lois Lane. Lois is a super brave news reporter who is always getting kidnapped by bad guys or stuck in perilous situations. She works at the Daily Planet newspaper with Superman's mild-mannered alter ego Clark Kent. But despite Lois working side-by-side with Clark every day, she has absolutely no idea that he is really Superman! I guess she must be a little oblivious. In every single episode, Lois will yell "Help! Help! Superman!" whenever she gets in trouble. And then Superman will swoop in at the last minute and save her by catching her as she falls, or using his freeze breath to put out a fire she is trapped in, or flying her up into the sky to safety. Lois is always so grateful and throws her arms around Superman's neck. But as soon as Clark Kent shows up, she just goes back to bossing him around! It'shilarious that she can't see that Clark is Superman, even though he is constantly running into closets to change into his Superman costume. How clueless can you get?I bet I would be able to figure it out right away if I worked with them. "Hey Lois! Don't you think it's a little suspicious that Clark is never around whenever Superman shows up? And why do they have the exact same hairstyle and build?" She would probably be so embarrassed once I pointed it out to her. Although I guess Clark does wear those篇3My Hero SupermanSuperman is the greatest superhero ever! He can fly, he's super strong, and he has laser vision that can melt anything. But what I really like most about Superman is that he always does the right thing and helps people, no matter what.I first learned about Superman from the movies and cartoons. My favorite is the classic Superman movie from 1978 with Christopher Reeve. He was so cool as Superman, flying around in that blue suit with the red cape. Whenever people were in trouble, he would swoop in and save the day. Like when Lois Lane fell from that helicopter, Superman flew at super speedand caught her just before she hit the ground. That was awesome! In the cartoon shows, Superman has to fight against a lot of bad guys who want to take over the world or destroy Metropolis, the city where Superman lives. There's the evil genius Lex Luthor who is always coming up with sneaky plans. And there are alien villains like General Zod and Non from the planet Krypton who have the same powers as Superman. Even though they are really strong, Superman always finds a way to outsmart them and beat them using his heroic abilities. What I think is really cool about Superman is all his amazing superpowers. First of all, he can fly just by spreading his arms and taking off into the sky. I wish I could do that! He can fly faster than a speeding bullet and go all the way into outer space. His super strength means he can lift trains over his head or punch through thick steel walls. Nothing can hurt him because he is invulnerable to anything except Kryptonite, that green glowing rock from his home planet that weakens him.Superman also has heat vision that shoots red laser beams from his eyes that can cut through metal or start fires. And he has freeze breath that can put out fires or freeze water into ice. Plus he has super hearing so he can hear people calling for helpfrom miles away. And x-ray vision to see through walls. With all those powers, it's no wonder he can take down the toughest villains! But my favorite thing about Superman is his strong moral character. He was raised by kind human parents in Smallville, Kansas who taught him to always fight for truth and justice. He could use his powers to take over the world, but instead he chooses to protect humanity and do what's right. No matter how powerful the villain is, Superman never gives up or cheats. He shows that you should always keep trying your best to defeat evil, even when it's really hard. One of the most inspiring Superman moments ever is in the movie when he has to stop a powerfully advanced android called the Nuclear Man who was created by Lex Luthor. Nuclear Man is too strong for Superman and he beats him up really badly. Superman is lying on the ground, all weak and beaten. But then he thinks about the people of Metropolis who are counting on him, and that gives him the inner strength and courage to get back up and keep fighting. Even though Nuclear Man has all those powers, Superman's spirit is stronger and he ends up defeating him by using clever tricks. It shows that your inner spirit and determination are more powerful than anything. That's why Superman is not just strong on the outside, but on the inside too. He has a strong sense of morals and never gives up, even when things look really bad. Like there was one time when he fought this monster called Doomsday who was totally unstoppable and seemed invincible. They battled all across the city, punching and blasting at each other. Buildings were getting destroyed everywhere. Finally, Doomsday beat Superman so hard that he appeared to be dead! But then at the last second, Superman dug down deep and found the last bit of his power to deliver one final deadly punch that destroyed Doomsday once and for all. Phew, that was such an epic battle! In the end, no matter how many times the bad guys try to take over the world or hurt innocent people, Superman always comes through and saves the day. That's why he's a true hero and why I look up to him so much. Whenever I see kids getting bullied at school or someone not following the rules, I think "What would Superman do in this situation?" And then I try to have the same courage and morals that he shows all the time.Superman makes me believe that if I work really hard, and never give up on doing the right thing, I can overcome any obstacle or challenge, just like he does. He shows that each of us has an inner superhero inside of us, we just have to be braveenough to let it out. Anytime I feel scared or doubtful, I remember the big bright red "S" on Superman's chest that proudly stands for "Super" and I feel motivated and inspired to always keep fighting the good fight, just like the Man of Steel. So in my mind, there is no greater superhero than Superman. With his amazing abilities and his unwavering ethics, he is a true symbol of hope that shows us humans how we should all strive to be. Up in the sky, that red cape gives us all courage! Thanks Superman, for constantly reminding me and kids everywhere about the power of good winning over evil. You're the best superhero a kid could ever have.篇4My Biggest Hero is SupermanSuperman is the greatest superhero of all time! He is so awesome and can do all kinds of amazing things. I want to be just like him when I grow up.First of all, Superman is really strong. He can lift huge things like cars, trucks, trains, and even entire buildings and bridges without even breaking a sweat! One time, he stopped a runaway train from crashing just by standing in front of it and pushingagainst it. That's how powerful he is. I'm pretty strong for my age, but not nearly as strong as the Man of Steel.Superman can also fly faster than a speeding bullet. He can zip across the entire sky in just a few seconds. It's so cool when he flies up, up, and away into the clouds. I really wish I could fly like that. It would be the best for getting to school and all my friends' houses quickly. No more waiting for the bus or asking my mom for rides everywhere!Another one of Superman's awesome powers is his heat vision. His eyes can shoot red laser beams that are hot enough to melt solid steel and rock! How crazy is that? He uses this power to heat things up or cut through thick walls when he needs to rescue someone trapped inside. I'd love to have heat vision, but I probably shouldn't be trusted with laser eyes. I'd probably just end up setting the curtains on fire by accident. But as cool as all those powers are, the best thing about Superman is that he always uses them to help people and fight bad guys. He never uses his strength or abilities to bully people or cause trouble. He's a real hero who risks his life to protect others from danger. Like when Lex Luthor tries to take over the world with some evil scheme, Superman is always there to swoop in and save the day! There was one time when this huge meteor was hurtling towards Metropolis and was going to totally destroy the whole city. But Superman flew up into space and smashed the meteor to bits with his bare hands before it could hit. Can you imagine how many lives he saved by doing that? He's so brave and selfless.Another reason I admire Superman is because he has such a strong moral code. He believes in truth, justice and the American way. That means he always tries to do the right thing, tell the truth, bring bad people to justice, and stand up for freedom and democracy. Those are really important values that I try to live up to as well. Not only that, but Superman has a really cool secret identity as Clark Kent, a mild-mannered reporter for the Daily Planet newspaper. So when he's not out fighting supervillains, he's working hard writing news articles and uncovering facts for the people of Metropolis. I think that's really neat how he has this whole other life that no one suspects. Some people might say that Superman is just too perfect or boring since he's pretty much invincible. But I think that just makes him all the more heroic and admirable. It would be so easy for him to use his incredible powers for selfish reasons, butinstead he dedicates himself to helping others 24/7. He never gives up or gets discouraged no matter how tough the challenge is.That's why Superman will always be my biggest hero and role model. Sure, Batman is cool with all his high-tech gadgets, and maybe Iron Man seems more realistically flawed as a person. But nothing compares to the pure awesomeness, might and moral greatness of the Last Son of Krypton. He's the best there is!I dream of the day when I get to meet Superman in person and shake his hand. I'd tell him that he's my inspiration to always try my hardest, never give up, fight for what's right, and use whatever talents I have to help others however I can. Maybe I'll never be able to bend steel or fly at supersonic speeds, but I can still strive to live up to Superman's ideals of heroism and doing good in this world. That's the highest compliment I can give the Man of Tomorrow - he makes me want to be a better person. From the depths of my heart, thank you Superman for everything you do to make our world a safer, happier place. You're the greatest superhero ever and will forever be my one and only idol. Up, up and away!篇5My Hero SupermanSuperman is my hero! He is the strongest and bravest superhero ever. He can fly in the sky and save people from danger. I admire him so much!Superman has a blue suit with a red cape. His costume has a big "S" on the chest, which stands for Superman. He also wears a red and yellow belt. He looks so cool!Superman has superpowers. He can lift heavy things like cars and planes. He can even shoot laser beams from his eyes. Nothing can hurt him! He uses his powers to fight bad guys and protect the city.Superman has a secret identity. His real name is Clark Kent. He works as a reporter in a newspaper. But when he hears someone in trouble, he quickly changes into his superhero costume and flies to the rescue.Superman is not just strong, but also kind and caring. He always helps people in need. He saves cats stuck in trees, stops robberies, and puts out fires. He is a true hero!I wish I could be like Superman. I would use my powers to help others and make the world a better place. Superman teaches us to be brave, kind, and always do the right thing. He is my hero forever!希望这篇简短的英语作文能够满足你的需求!如果还有其他问题或者需要帮助,请随时告诉我。

My understanding of makerOur society is like a factory that creates numerous products. To some degree, we are all the makers because we work hard to make contributions to our society. Teachers, for example, train their students by spreading the knowledge, which plays a significant role in providing the country with sufficient human resources. Most, if not all, successful people are the beneficiaries of education. Also, in my personal view, parents are the makers too. As they produce their children and raise them up. During the whole process, parents are supposed to guide them to be a good man. According to a survey conducted by a research suggests that those who make great contributions to society often come from a good family with nice parents. So in most cases children are the reflections or representations of their parents.I want to be a true maker as my ideal work is a writer. To be more specific, I’d like to write fairy tales that not only for children but also for adults. The fairy tales I write will be interesting enough to attract kids so that they can getthe pleasure from reading, which is very fundamental for kids to foster this hobby when they are in their childhood, meanwhile, the fairy tales that I am going to write will be alert too so that adults can learn some lessons from it. In this regard, I am a maker because it is the fairy stories that I write helps children absorb in reading. Perhaps many of them are willingly to be a writer too. In addition, if parents spare their time to share fairy tales with their kids the family will be much happier and they are likely to enjoy the happy moments they stay together. So I am a catalyst to make the family harmonious.。
My understanding of western Target management thoughtsSummary: The goal of management theory is a Target incentive scheme by the modern management guru Peter Drucker made according to the target set theory. Management is also known as the RBM targets, it is Taylor's scientific management and behavioral science-based management theory, the formation of a management system. Management by objectives is one of the important contributions of drucker is to management, it embodies the pursuit of human equality, freedom, and subjective initiative .Today, drucker's objective management theory on us still has very important significance and influence. In fact, since the target management theory, the industrial and commercial enterprises have been widely used in the United States, and soon to Japan, Western Europe countries enterprises to follow .Through the understanding of his theory and research, in this article I will make a comprehensive summary, and tells the management idea or theory to establish innovative social management mode in our country. Keywords: target management by Objectives draw management of organization Peter Dracker is USA economists, anthropologists and political scientist’s management most famous contemporary, are the management of the modern western economic theory of empiricism school representative.Because of his outstanding achievements in the management aspect, known as the "father of modern management", and referred to as "the master of masters". In 1954, Drucker proposed "target management" concept for the first time in the book named” Management practice”. Distance is now half a century, today, to reconsider Drucker's theory of management by objectives still has a certain value and significance. Drucker's objective management theory is to absorb the strengths of the doctrine of Taylor's scientific management theory and interpersonal relationships, and avoid the disadvantages of them. It content mainly includes the following several aspects:✧The nature of the organization's goalsDrucker thinks, in the organization objectives can be divided into three levels of strategic goals, strategic objectives and plan and tasks. These three goals are by top management, middle management staff, general staff assigned different levels of target.✧Management by objectives precondition for success1. Active involvement of senior management personnel. The supreme leader organization and other senior leaders must take an active part in the formulation and implementation of the organization's strategic goals and advanced strategy target.2. Junior staff to attend. To attract all kinds of people in the organization to set goals and take responsibility for the incentive effect and effectively improve the interpersonal relationships within the organization to organization members.3. Sufficient information.Full and accurate information, help managers correctly and effectively set goals.4. Means to achieve the goal of control.5. To have the courage to take risks for the realization of target of organization members to provide incentives and protection.6. Believe that the majority of members of responsibility and creativity.Only managers and general staff are able to adapt to the target management requirements in attitude, target management to be successful.✧The three stages of the management by objectives1. The first phase: the set goals. To provide the relevant system information to participate in the management of personnel, and to develop strategic goals, then by all levels of management personnel to the strategy suggestions, finally the objectives and evaluation criteria to reach an agreement, to complete a complete target system.2. The second stage: achieve the goal.Under general supervision, process management to achieve goals.3. The third stage: the inspection and evaluation of results.Check and review of the results, in the new target management cycle, using the experience and lessons. The main characteristic of management by objective1. Centered on the target.2. Attaches great importance to the results of the management3. Attaches great importance to the management of peopleBut everything has two side, we can specifically talk about the advantages and disadvantages of management by objectives.Advantages: 1. Target management to bring the good performance of the organization is to measure and the decomposition of goals.2. Target management is helpful to improving organization structure of the division of responsibilities.3. Management by objectives inspired consciousness; mobilize the initiative, the enthusiasm of the workers, creative.4. The target management to promote the exchanges and mutual understanding improve interpersonal relationship.Disadvantages: 1. Objective to make, because many of the goals within the organization is difficult to quantify, specific, but the target agreed may increase the management costs, and the target agreed to under the communication, unity of thinking is a waste of time.2. Philosophical assumptions of management by objectives not necessarily exist.3. Sometimes the rewards and punishment is not always matched with the objective results phase, is also very difficult to guarantee the impartiality, which weakened the effect of target management. So we carry out target management in practice, in addition to master the specific method of accident, we should also pay special attention to grasp the nature of the work, analysis of the decomposition and quantization, improve the occupation moral level organization, cultivate the spirit of cooperation, establish and improve various rules and regulations, to improve leadership style and working method, target management to long-term adhere to the science.Administration idea or theory to establish innovative social management mode in our country.Drucker's objective management theory, whether in theory or in practice has a far-reaching influence and significance to us. Through to the drucker’s target management theory analysis and study, not only enriches our knowledge of management, broadened our horizons, more important is its management thought and our country combination of traditional culture, excellent management, better applied to our management practice. My understanding of western Target management thoughts✧姓名:徐瑞杰✧学号:20124080566✧学院:公共管理学院。
