本课程的主要目标是通过各种交流活动来加深学生对于“食草动物”这一概念的理解,并且帮助学生运用“can”对动物进行描述。
二、教学目标1.学生能够理解“herbivore”即食草动物的概念,并且能够把动物分类为“herbivore”和“carnivore”两种类型;2.学生能够在老师的帮助下运用“can”对各种动物的特点进行描述,例如“Elephants can eat leaves”。
三、教学重难点1.教学重点:让学生理解“herbivore”的概念,并且了解一些食草动物的特点;2.教学难点:帮助学生运用“can”对各种动物进行描述;四、教学准备1.PPT2.课件3.科普书籍五、教学过程1. 换位思考1.老师先带头让学生进行换位思考,问学生们“你们最喜欢的食物是什么?”;2.接下来再问学生:“你又会吃那些食物?”;2. 带入课堂1.老师通过尝试各种食物来引导学生,介绍食草动物;2.接下来老师要向学生们发起调查主题是:我家的宠物们(通过调查,让学生们去进行分类,找出哪些是食草动物,哪些是食肉动物。
3. 制作海报1.将学生分为若干个小组(三人一组),让学生们在一张纸上制作海报,并用英语标出各种动物的特性。
2.老师可以给学生们一些词汇来参考,例如can, eat, live, like,happy。
4. 大声朗读1.让学生轮流大声朗读海报上的每一个字2.如果有学生还说不清楚那些单词,老师可以随机选几个学生来读5. 小结1.让学生自己综合所学内容来提出问题2.通过小组及班级的讨论来梳理这些问题,并且给出答案3.让学生思考,我们应该如何保护动物们呢?六、教学反思本节课程是让我们更深刻地理解食草动物的概念,并且教给学生怎么用“can”这个单词来了解动物的动作和生活特征。
