【How】通过阅读单元的主题图让学生了解本教材的主线人物和教材板块的设计,其中包括中国学生和外国学生以及学校老师,学生能使用简单的问候语和告别语来完成简单的对话。
学情分析K(Known) 已知W(Want) 想知L(Learned)已学认识26个英文字母的发音以及一些简单的日常用语和单词。
如何有效、快速地记忆新单词,掌握简单的问候语,学会在真实情境中应用,提高听说读写的能力。

教学策略是设计大量的对话以及结队活动、小组活动等任务型活动,让学生在重复、模仿中学会对话,进行简单的分角色表演,在完成任务中学习语言,为下节课利用简单的英语进行购物、谈论对服装的喜好做铺垫。
学情分析七年级学生精力旺盛,求知欲强,对英语学习有着浓厚的兴趣,本课内容贴近学生生活,学生也乐意接受。
同时,学生以前学过一些服装名词和颜色,也学过1到9的数字,这些都为开展这节课创造了良好的习惯。
设计思路:基础英语阶段课程的目标是以学生语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识的发展为基础,培养学生英语综合语言运用能力。
新课程倡导任务型教学模式,让学生在教师的指导下,通过感知、体验、实践、参与和合作等方式,实现任务的目标,感受成功。
因此,我把教学内容设计成由简到难的任务,让学生在克服困难、完成任务中循序渐进地接受新知识,寓乐于学,积极培养和保护学生对英语学习的积极性,建立他们学好英语、用好英语的初步自信心。
整体设计【教学目标】1.学生能够掌握本课表示衣服、颜色和大小的重点词汇:socks, shorts, T-shirt, sweater, trousers,shoe, skirt, dollar, big, small,short, long,并能够运用How much---?引导的特殊疑问句句型询问物品价格。
2.通过听力训练,使学生感知和初步运用How much---? 引导的问句以及回答来谈论物品的颜色和价格。
