Review of Twilight--Shourina, Business English 1002 Have you ever watched the movie Twilight of vampire-themed fantasy romance? It charts a period in the life of Isabella "Bella" Swan, a teenage girl who moves to Forks, Washington, and falls in love with a 104-year-old vampire named Edward Cullen. The first movie is told primarily from Bella's point of view.As for this film, I am really fond of the first scene at the beginning of the whole film. There is a wolf running extremely fast across the virgin forest, with a voice of a teenage girl named Bella at the first person. She says she has never thought about dying, but maybe it will be satisfying and not too bad to die beside her love. After that, we see Bella leaves her mom and her mom’s new husband for her dad. Upon arriving the small town, she knows Jacob and other friends, as well as the handsome boy Edward Cullen, the guy who appears cold and warm unexpectedly but with great charm. In this scene, the setting is of so great significance that it gives us a tense feeling about the film as a whole. Seeing the image of the running wolf, I can hardly imagine that it is a fantasy romance between a high school girl and a charming vampire. I just thought that it would be quite interesting, exciting, maybe thrilling as well, which drove me to continue watching and figuring out what would happen.Besides, the film used a restricted-narration, which means that it was told by the teenage girl at the first person at the beginning, and I only knew what she knew. It made me devoted myself to the story and feel that I was the very heroine in the film, who can feel happy, sad, anxious, upset or feared.Furthermore, it happened in a small town in the virgin forest, which gave me a sense of mystery that attracted us audiences to help exploring the identity of Edward (what he is exactly). And the mise-en-scene used in it is overwhelmingly wonderful and marvelous. First, the image of the forest is very beautiful, and the wolf seems vivid and lively. In addition, even the body of Edward under the sunshine looks beautiful, like diamond. Also, vampires and wolf men in the film have some unique superpower, they run so fast that they seems to be able to fly, which is extremely eye-catching.Anyhow, it’s a great film, and really worth watching. By the way, it’s a typical Hollywood film which has clear cause-and-effect order, and the main roles always have their goal—to be together with the one you love, no matterwhat he is, human or vampire. What’s more, the ending is comparatively happy that Bella and Edward got together with each other.Taking all the above into consideration, I can draw the conclusion that the first scene of the film Twilight is very fantastic, so is the whole film. I strongly recommend you watching it when you are free.。

(300 words)The novel Twilight is a young-adult vampire-romance novel written by an American housewife in her thirties. This romantic author is Stephenie Meyer, who gained her inspiration from “a vivid dream”.1Back into the fall in 2008, the adaption film of Twilight was a big hit and On July 15, 2009, Entertainment Weekly confirmed rumors that a graphic novel adaptation of Twilight was in the works.2Why on earth is this book so hugely successful that makes so many young women itching to enjoy it?The writer reckons that there are two significant points that make it stands out in the crowd. One is that the author gives us a whole picture of a puppy love in the stage of adolescence whereas dedicatedly describing the cockles of the heart of a teenager; the other is the perfect combination between the romance of subtle love and the suspense of the local tribe legend about vampires. Thanks to the author’s superb writing skills, all the nice memory of youth can be easily recalled, especially about the real-life high school romance. As is written in the article Story Behind ‘Twilight’by the author, “I've never cons idered Twilight a horror novel, though. To me, it's a romance.”3,it is obvious that what impresses readers most is the miraculously obsessive love and the detailed depiction about what life a teenager girl has after she falls in love with an extraordinarily beautiful, elegant and cultured vampire who “have that alluring edge to their horror.”4Similar to the fairy1The Story Behind Twilight, /twilight.html, retried on March 19, 20112 Twilight (novel), /wiki/Twilight_(novel)#Film, retried on March 19, 20113 BookStories Interview with Stephenie Meyer,/fa2006-08.html, retried on March 19, 20114 Debut writer shines with 'Twilight', /books/243782_vampire08.html, retried on March 19, 2011tale Cinderella, Isabella “Bella” Swan is “an everygirl, not a hero”, and encounters with Edward who is a Whitehorse prince, “too perfect to exist in reality”5. Despite of the unbelievably lucky romance, there does exist some real-life and heart-touching plots—like every teenybopper is feeling and experiencing—making a loud resonance in the mind of readers. The flaming eye contact, the exquisite handwriting on the test paper, the unforgettable first kiss, the tight and warm embrace and the silent company in the darkness are all the most fascinating and romantic parts of love affairs. “There lies the enormous beauty of fiction that can touch you where you are, or where you've been, and take you some place you never can go. That place isn't real, though it feels amazingly so.”6Jennifer Hawes, a journalist of The Post and Courier observes.Furthermore, the combination of the love and the myth about vampires is far beyond reading for pleasure, in fact, leading readers to a deep sight into the battle of civilization and barbarism. This romantic love story makes readers feel a flow of refreshment partly because of the special status of the male protagonist—a vampire who drink the blood of animals instead of humans’ one—portraying a merciful and well-educated tribe of vampires. In the book, "Edward's inner struggle" is heightened and regarded as a metaphor for sexual frustration accompanying adolescence7as well as a fight against the unmanageable and nasty desire with his sane consciousness of morality. In reality, people are always forced to control their passion and balance the benefit they can gain form material and spiritual aspects. In the most cases, they failed to deep into our soul and are reduced to be a superficial man or woman. The cover of the book Twilight is a meaningful symbol—a red apple held in a pair of tender but pale hands—representing “the fruit of the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Go od and Evil” 8and indicating the love between Bella and Edward should be forbidden. The writer reckons that the education concept of China is just like the same as the condition in this story capturing “the perfectly the teenage feeling5Stephenie Meyer's 'Twilight' Zone, /ew/article/0,,20049578,00.html, retried on March 19, 20116Living a real-life romance, /news/2009/jul/13/living_real_life_romance88905/, retried on March 19, 20117Reviews for Twiligh t, /twilight_reviews.html, retried on March 19, 20118The story behind twilight, /twilight.html, retried on March 19, 2011of sexual tension a nd alienation”9. In addition, “the forbidden fruit” also means the rigid rules for Bella, or every young girl, and also means requiring knowledge to tell good from evil and to make a right choice between reason and passion, which can be a serious question for both teenagers and parents. In summary, this novel has every reason of being named one of Publishers Weekly's Best Children's Books of 2005. Stories left behind the book are worth discussing and reviewing.IV. Criticism or questions to the author or the novel. (100 words)As the novel Twilight is the first effort of the author, there is still room that the writer believes can be improved. One is an excessive image of perfection shaped for Edward. The book is written in the first person telling story from Bella’s eye, and the author is dedicated to shape a powerful and protective male image for Edward with so many descriptions about Edward’s caring and loving words. There is no denying that Whitehorse prince must appear in every girl’s dream, but in the wonderland of Twilight, a hero, yet with a few weaknesses, may be more acceptable and more approachable as providing readers for someone cherishable and memorable in real life.On the other hand, a clear image of Bella can barely form in the minds of readers after finishing the novel. Is she beautiful, or just as plain as a neighbor girl? Why is she so attractive among these excellent boys? Readers may have difficulties in capturing the ardent feelings in the depth of her heart and wonder in appearance or personality what kind of sparkling excellence Bella possesses. Ironically, the author has given many answers several times in public to make up for the character of Bella. Although it is said that a hundred readers have a hundred Helmet”, if the author do esn’t give enough hints for us to imagine, Bella will come to be nobody. Thanks to the author’s rich imaginations and vivid expression, readers can enjoy a unique love story between a human and a vampire. Hopefully, the author is starting a fifth novel from another perspective to retell the eternal love.9Amanda Craig (2006-01-14). "New-Age vampires stake their claim". London: The Times. 九年级英语作文介绍假如给我三天光明全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1Sure, here's an essay of around 2000 words in English about "If I Had Three Days of Sunshine", written from a ninth-grade student's perspective:If I Had Three Days of SunshineHave you ever wondered what it would be like to have three days of uninterrupted sunshine? Well, I certainly have, and let me tell you, the possibilities are endless! Imagine waking up to the warm embrace of the sun's rays, feeling their gentle caress on your face as you start your day. No more gloomy clouds or dreary rain to dampen your spirits. Just pure, unadulterated sunshine! If I had three days of sunshine, the first thing I would do is plan the ultimate outdoor adventure. Forget about being cooped up inside, staring at screens or burying my nose in books (as much as I love learning). It would be time to embrace nature in all its glory. I'd pack a backpack with some snacks, a waterbottle, and maybe a good book or two (old habits die hard), and set off on a hiking trail.Picture it: the crisp morning air filling my lungs as I trek through lush green forests, the sun peeking through the canopy of trees, casting dappled shadows on the earth below. The melodic chirping of birds would accompany my every step, and the occasional rustling of leaves would remind me of the vibrant life thriving all around me. I'd pause to admire the intricate patterns of a spider's web, glistening with dew, or the vibrant hues of wildflowers dotting the path. After a few hours of exploration, I'd find the perfect spot – a clearing with a gentle stream trickling by, surrounded by towering pines. There, I'd spread out a blanket and indulge in a well-deserved picnic. The sun would be high in the sky, bathing the world in a warm, golden glow. As I savor each bite of my sandwich and sip on refreshing lemonade, I'd let my mind wander, basking in the tranquility of the moment. The second day of sunshine would be dedicated to embracing my creative side. Armed with a sketchpad and a set of colored pencils, I'd find a cozy spot in the park or my backyard and let my artistic juices flow. The warmth of the sun wouldinfuse my strokes with vibrancy, and the vibrant hues of nature would serve as my muse.I'd start by capturing the intricate details of a blooming flower, its delicate petals unfurling like a silent invitation to admire its beauty. Then, I'd move on to the majestic oak tree standing tall, its branches stretching skyward, offering shade and solace to those seeking respite from the heat. With each stroke, I'd try to convey the essence of my subjects, their resilience, and their unyielding spirit. As the day wore on, I might even attempt to capture the ever-changing play of light and shadow, as the sun danced across the landscape. The warm tones of the afternoon would give way to the golden hues of dusk, casting a magical glow over everything it touched. Who knows, maybe I'd even stumble upon a breathtaking sunset, and my canvas would be awash with vibrant hues of orange, pink, and purple, as the day bid farewell in a spectacular display of nature's artistry. On the third and final day of sunshine, I'd gather my friends and family for a grand celebration. We'd fire up the grill, fill the cooler with ice-cold beverages, and let the good times roll. Laughter and the aroma of sizzling burgers would fill the air as we basked in the warmth of the sun and each other's company. We'd set up a badminton net or a volleyball court, and the friendly competition would commence. The cheers and playful banter would echo through the neighborhood as we battled it out, our faces flushed with exertion and joy. In between matches, we'd lounge on the grass, soaking up the sun's rays and swapping stories, creating memories that would last a lifetime. As the day drew to a close and the sun began to dip below the horizon, we'd gather around a crackling fire pit, roasting marshmallows and gazing up at the star-studded sky. The gentle breeze would carry the scent of woodsmoke and the distant laughter of children playing in the twilight. In those moments, time would seem to stand still, and the world would be reduced to the simple pleasures of good company, good food, and the warmth of the sun on our faces.Alas, all good things must come to an end, and eventually, my three days of sunshine would draw to a close. But the memories and experiences I'd have gained would stay with me forever, like a warm embrace to carry me through the colder, darker days ahead. So, you see, three days of sunshine may seem like a fleeting moment, but in that brief span, a world of possibilities unfolds. It's a chance to reconnect with nature, tap into our creativespirits, and revel in the simple joys of life. Who knows, maybe one day, we'll all be blessed with an endless summer, but until then, I'll cherish every ray of sunshine that graces my path.篇2If I Had Three Days of Light - A Book ReviewHave you ever felt like you were just existing rather than truly living? Like you were just going through the motions of daily life without any real purpose or passion? That's how I felt before reading the novel "If I Had Three Days of Light" by Helen Keller. This book completely changed my perspective and made me realize how lucky I am to be able to see, hear, and experience the world around me.The book tells the story of Helen Keller, who became blind and deaf at just 19 months old after a severe illness. Can you imagine living in complete darkness and silence from such a young age? I certainly can't. Just thinking about it makes me shudder. But that was Helen's reality for the first few years of her life. She lived in her own little world, unable to communicate with those around her or make any sense of the things she couldn't see or hear.Everything changed when Helen's parents hired a tutor named Anne Sullivan to teach and work with her. Anne broke through to Helen and showed her how to communicate through hand signs. It was like a light had been switched on in Helen's mind. Suddenly, she had a way to express herself and understand the world around her. Learning language opened up her entire world. As I read about Helen's early life struggles, I felt a mix of sadness, frustration, and inspiration. Sadness for all she had missed out on and the difficulties she faced every single day. Frustration at the lack of understanding from people around her and the limited opportunities available for someone like her back then. But most of all, inspiration from her perseverance, courage, and thirst for knowledge despite her disabilities. The part of the book that really stuck with me was when Helen described what it would be like to have just three days of light and the ability to see the world around her. With vivid imagery, she painted a picture of all the sights she would take in - the faces of loved ones, the colors of nature, and the little details of everyday life that most of us take for granted. Reading her thoughts, I felt a profound sense of gratitude for my ownsight and a new appreciation for the beauty in the world that surrounds me every day.Helen's words made me realize how easy it is to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life and forget to stop and truly experience the precious gift of sight and sound. I spend so much time looking at screens and hearing noise that I often tune out the real world around me. But after reading this book, I have a new sense of mindfulness about being present and absorbing the vibrant world through my senses while I can.Beyond just opening my eyes (literally!) to my own blessings, this book also inspired me with Helen Keller's remarkable accomplishments in life despite her disabilities. She went on to become the first deafblind person to earn a bachelor's degree. She was a prolific author, writing 12 books and numerous articles over her lifetime. She was an activist who traveled the world to advocate for the disabled. She even had an audience with every U.S. president from Grover Cleveland to Lyndon B. Johnson!Reading about how Helen didn't let her disabilities define her or hold her back, but rather used them as motivation to live life to the fullest, was incredibly motivating for me. It made me think about the challenges in my own life that I perceive as roadblocks or excuses, and reflect on how I can apply Helen'sdetermined, persevering spirit to overcome them. Her life is proof that we all face difficulties and setbacks, but it's how we respond to them that matters most. If someone like Helen could achieve so much against all odds, then I have no excuse to let my own struggles keep me from pursuing my dreams and ambitions. In conclusion, the book "If I Had Three Days of Light" was truly a revelatory reading experience that shifted my perspective in profound ways. It granted me a newfound appreciation for the world around me that I so often take for granted. It inspired me to live with more mindfulness, gratitude and intention. And most importantly, it filled me with motivation to persevere through challenges and make the most of the opportunities and abilities I have, just as Helen Keller did throughout her remarkable life. This book and Helen's timeless words will stay with me always as a reminder to open my eyes, open my mind, and soak in every glorious sight and sound around me. I feel incredibly lucky to be able to experience light.篇3If I Had Three Days of LightHave you ever wondered what it would be like to have your sight for just a brief time after being blind since birth? The movie "If I Had Three Days of Light" explores this extraordinary premise. It tells the story of Sam, a teenage boy who has been blind his whole life until a revolutionary medical procedure temporarily restores his vision for three miraculous days. I recently watched this film and found it to be a powerful and thought-provoking experience that really made me appreciate the gift of sight. The movie opens by introducing us to Sam's world of darkness. We see how he has adapted to living without vision, using his other senses like hearing and touch to navigate his surroundings. Despite the challenges of being blind, Sam has a positive outlook and lives a full life thanks to the loving support of his family. However, he has always dreamed of being able to see, even just for a little while. When Sam is selected as a candidate for an experimental surgery that could temporarily give him sight, he is understandably nervous but desperately hopeful. The surgery is a success, and the scenes depicting Sam's first visual experiences are some of the most powerful and emotional moments I've witnessed in a film. The look of pure wonder and joy on his face as he takes in the vibrant colors, distinct shapes, and intricatedetails of the world around him for the first time is profoundly moving. With only three short days to experience sight, Sam is determined to cram in as much as he possibly can. He describes everything he sees in breathtaking detail, hungrily drinking in the faces of his family members, the architecture of buildings, the majesty of nature, and even seemingly mundane objects and scenery. His child-like fascination with the visual world conveys how utterly amazing it is to gain a brand new sense that most of us take for granted every day.Of course, Sam's journey is not without its struggles. He has to rapidly learn how to visually process and make sense of his surroundings, a skill most people develop naturally over years from infancy. There are humorous and awkward moments as he grapples with basic tasks like identifying objects, judging distances, and understanding social cues and body language. His relationships are also tested as his closest friends and family adjust to him now being able to see them as they really are.But perhaps the most poignant part of the film is watching Sam emotionally prepare himself for the harsh reality that his vision will disappear after three fleeting days. As the deadline nears, there is a palpable sense of dread, grief, and heartbreak. How can he handle losing this incredible gift and being plunged back into darkness forever? The closing scenes left me in tears as Sam tries to etch every last image into his memory before the darkness returns.Overall, "If I Had Three Days of Light" is a beautiful, heartfelt, and deeply moving film that makes you stop and think about how you might react if granted the same momentary butlife-altering opportunity as Sam. It highlights how easily we can take the senses we're born with for granted and fails to appreciate the little things until they're gone. It's a reminder to live every day to the fullest, be thankful for our abilities, and never take anything for granted. On a personal level, this movie really struck a chord with me and gave me a new perspective. I have always considered myself a very visual and observant person, but watching Sam discover the world of sight made me realize how much of the visual experience I probably overlook or take for granted myself. It inspired me to start trying to be more present, mindful, and appreciative of the rich visuals that constantly surround me instead of just breezing through life in a daze. I now take time every day to consciously look around and observe the colors, textures, patterns, and little details in my environment. From asimple flower blooming to the warm glow of a sunset, I've learned that there is beauty and wonder to behold everywhere if you just take a moment to really see it.I can't recommend "If I Had Three Days of Light" enough. It's an unforgettable reminder of how precious and extraordinary our senses truly are. It motivates us to stop taking life for granted and inspires a deep gratitude for all the remarkable things we're able to see, hear, smell, taste, and feel on a daily basis. This movie made me count my blessings and vow never to take the gift of sight for granted again. After watching it, I think we could all benefit from trying to see the world through Sam's eyes, even if just for a moment.。
暮光之城英语读后感篇一:暮光之城读后感英文A vampire book—TwilightThis term I read a book named Twilight, which tells us a love story about a human girl and a vampire family. In the book, a girl named Bella moves to a small town, Forks, which almost rains whole year, to live with her father. At first, she resists everything new, preferring staying at her small word. However, when a gentle attractive boy, Edward comes in her eyes, she feels something different. She starts to fix her eyes on him, on the other side, the boy seems to be angry with her, avoiding her, showing ignorance and performing rudely. Bella has no choice but act like normal person, but where she is, where the bad luck is. However, every time she is in trouble, Edward appears and protects her. This makes her even curious. Relaying her sensitive observation, she finally finds Edward is a vampire! With the secret, she talks to Edward and she finally put all burden and falls in love with Edward. Then they start a completely different and meaning life.About the bookThe part which I was impressed most is Bella and Edward’s heart-to-heart talk. Even Bella knows he is a vampire and he has the eve sides which can kill her in a second, she doesn’t afraid because she believes he has something in good. Like she believed, Edward has guilt to his identity s o he makes a life by drinking the animals’ blood. It is Bella’skindness and trust that help her gain her love and happiness.I most moved part is the family love and I consider it to be scarify. When Bella’s smell raise a vampire hunter attention, which means she is in big danger. The whole family are ready to fight, even that means to die. The moment Bella leaves the town, Edward’s sister whispers to her “we’ll protect you whatever it takes.”About the languageThe book not only helps me enlarge my vocabulary but also show me more oral English: for instant, when a man always says everything is ok, we can call him Mr. So far so good. And when we have some books, we can say I have quantities books. Now, I can say there are so many books in my ears.Read the book, I also learn the culture in different country. When something bad happens, our Chinese people often ask what happen or say something inspiring. But in America, people always say I was sorry and say little word or nothing more.In short, Twilight is a wonderful book to read.篇二:暮光之城英语读后感Between humans and vampires can love how deep?Between humans and vampires can love how deep? Is it enough to beyond the time?Well, when I read the “Twilight”, I always feel thelove between man and vampire is vulnerable, and its not true.Because I think that, humans and vampires belonged to two different worlds originally. When they love each other more deeply, they also can not exceed the limit of the time. Timeis a long river before the love. Due to its presence, I feel that our love is tiny and powerless. However, when I read this novel in the end, I find that I am Wrong. Bella came with a heavy sense and met EdwardCullen and she fell in love with him without any regrets. In her heart, Edward was her all.Edward said: “I do not want my presence take away any of your things, if I can do that. I hope you do a normal person, I hope your life according to its original look to continue on, when I have died in 1918 when the damned.”Well, Edward determined not to let Bella become a vampire.I understand one reason of it. To be a vampire, we must watchingthe numerous day and night, and we can?t see the end of that long lonely life. I think that even if wehave a person who loved us and live with us forever, the loneliness is like a devil. It?s too terrible. But regardless of whether Bella will become a vampire, as a reader, I hope that Bella and Edward can love each other forever. Because I think that Love is a sweet thing in the world at all.篇三:暮光之城观后感英文版My Sentiment About TwilightTwilight is a grossing movie. It skillfully incorporates vampire, love and science fiction .New York Times review this movie as "Full of love the futhure of tension, but elegant refined as Jane Austen ,reached the a kind of acme of romance novel."It tells a heartbreaking love story between a high school student Bella and a handsome vampire Edward. They are from strangers to be acquainted with each other then finally be loved. They went through the pain which ordinary peoplecan't imagine. This full of science fiction color's love film interpret us the great power of through the view that distinguished from humans, which is also the writer want to show us "Love is the best part of a story".Let me talk about the scene when I was watching it. The open piece is an animal in the running of the lens, and it doesn't matter about the vampire in the introduction. I was confused about all sorts of strange behavior as the heroine. Why did it happen? So I continued watching with a security. Foreigners face are white so everyone looks like avampire . Incomparable contours of the face, eyes like a mirror in which has the magic of free from vulgarity. Constantly insight of people, like a magnet for all people are unable to resist the beauty. I was shocked by their beauty.Overall, I enjoyed Twilight for what it was - a romance that probedthe timeless dilemma of wanting what you can't have. It makes for an interesting, compelling story, and I expect more from the sequels, because the potential is certainly there.。

暮光之城观后感英文Twilight: A Reflection on the FilmAfter watching the highly anticipated film "Twilight," based on the popular book series by Stephenie Meyer, I was left with a multitude of emotions and thoughts. This mesmerizing portrayal of love, danger, and immortality seamlessly blends supernatural elements with the teenage experience, leaving the audience captivated and eager for more.Set in the small town of Forks, Washington, the film revolves around the complex relationship between the young and moody Bella Swan and the enigmatic vampire Edward Cullen. Bella, portrayed by Kristen Stewart, is a relatable and independent character who moves to Forks to live with her father. As Bella navigates through her new school and meets Edward, played by Robert Pattinson, a mysterious and intriguing love story unfolds. One of the remarkable aspects of "Twilight" is its portrayal of the supernatural. Vampires, traditionally depicted as monstrous creatures, are rejuvenated into beautiful and immortal beings who struggle with their own existence. This fresh perspective provides an opportunity for the audience to empathize with the vampires and raises thought-provoking questions about immortality, humanity, and the consequences of our choices. The film's cinematography deserves praise for capturing the magical essence of the story. The use of dim lighting and misty backdrops creates an otherworldly atmosphere, enhancing the mystique surrounding the vampires. The scenes filmed in the lush forests of Washington state add to the sense of enchantment, drawing the audience deeper into the story's charm.Furthermore, the chemistry between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson is undeniable. Their on-screen portrayal of Bella and Edward's complicated love is both intense and palpable. Their performances expertly convey the depth of their characters and their internal conflicts, making their forbidden love all the more enticing. But "Twilight" is not solely a love story; it also explores themes of individuality and self-discovery. Bella's journey of finding her place in the world, despite the obstacles she faces, is relatable to many young adults. Through her character, the film encourages viewers to embrace their uniqueness and stand up for what they believe in. It reminds us that we have the power to shape our own destinies. In addition to the central love story, the film offers a diverse and dynamic supporting cast. Bella's relationship with her quirky and loyal friends, as well as the complex dynamics within Edward's vampire family, add depth and richness to the overall narrative. The characters' interactions reveal their vulnerabilities, creating a tapestry of emotions that resonate with the audience. The musical score is another aspect that elevates the film. The haunting melodies and poignant lyrics perfectly complement the emotional rollercoaster the characters experience. The carefully selected songs provide an additional layer of depth and amplify the heartache and yearning felt throughout the story. However, it is essential to recognize that "Twilight" may not appeal to everyone. Some audiences may find the portrayal of immortal creatures and teenage love cliché or predictable. Nevertheless, the film's ability tocaptivate and engage millions of viewers worldwide confirms its undeniable impact and cultural significance. In conclusion, "Twilight" is more than just a teenage love story. Its exploration of identity, acceptance, and the complexities of love transcends the supernatural elements intertwined within the plot. With its alluring cinematography, compelling performances, and thought-provoking themes, "Twilight" stands as a testament to the power of storytelling and its ability to capture the hearts of audiences across the globe.。
Several days ago, while I was preparing my book report for my writing class, I was deeply touched by the author of the book. So If I could meet a famous person, I hope it would be her. The author of Twilight--- that is Stephanie Morgan Meyer. She graduated from Brigham Young University when she was 22 years old, and receiving her B.A. in English. At the age of 30, the stay-at-home mother of three young sons wrote her first book, Twilight. You know, what surprised me most was that she was a full-time housewife without any writing experience before, while her first book which just starting with one of her dreams could became one of 2005`s most talked about novels and within weeks of its release, this book debuted at the position on the New York Times bestseller list. Love is a constant topic in the history of mankind. The Twilight is full of vampire, werewolf, love and horror. The Twilight saga:《Twilight》《New Moon》《Eclipse》《Breaking Dawn》《Midnight Sun》are named after sun and moon. They expatiated on the changes which happened during their love journey.“Love is just a small part of this book, but it shows the way of our life” the writer said, “I attach a moral to this story. Whatever you meet and whatever you think. You always have another choice and another way, just being loyal to your faith and believe yourself. You will sweep away the clouds and see the sky.”In my opinion, choose is a special place in this movie. We can compare it which happens between Bella and Rosalie. When Bella was fall in love with Edward. She is concerned for their future: Edward will be young and never die but what about her. So she chosed to be a vampire according to her own wishes. But for Rosalie, she didn’t like to be a vampire. Her dream is to get married with a normal man and have a family, grow old with him. But unfortunately she was closely to die for her fiancé. Cullen saved her and changed her. “I envy you. Because you have a choice, I didn’t. None of us did. But you do and you are choosing wrong.” Rosalie said with Bella. We can see different choices have different outcomes. The love between Bella and Edward has crossed ethnic. Bella is a brave and smart girl. We all know bloodthirsty is the nature of vampire. He fell in love for the smell of Bella’s blood at the beginning. He almost lost his control when they kiss. Kiss became a dangerous thing for them. He is afraid to hurt her, so he left. Bella insisted on waiting for him and did lots of dangerous things to call him. In《New Moon》she jumped off the cliff. Edward thought she was dead. He wanted to end his eternal life. Of course, Bella prevented him, they meet again. Since then, when Edward saw the blood of Bella, he could control himself very well. Bella asked the reason. “If you are in fear of your lover was dead, you will know the reason.” Edward resisted the temptation. His love won the nature. “You are my life now.” is true for them.Vampire is loyal to their love. No matter Edward or Victoria(another vampire who wants to kill Bella for revenge). Their love is pure. But I was very confused. Why Edward refused to change Bella. So that they will always be together and Bella will get rid of the nightmare. I think Bella is really brave and she did her best to stay with Edward, even face to die. This book is full of love, horror, powers and many uncanny abilities. The love between Bella and Edward is the main line of this story, but not all. We must see their conception of love and life. The incredible love between human and vampire like a lion fall in love with a sheep. “Because of love. So love.”The innocent love blew ray of light wind to this materialistic society. Rosalie’s desires for life also taught us what happiness is.。
