Unit1 What can I do for you?
教学设计
【学习目标】
1.通过图片结合情景教学单词、短语,要求学生能够拼读和正确运用本课所学词汇。
2.通过师生、生生对话和听力训练,能听懂有关购物的简短对话。
3.能灵活运用所学的购物用语询问价格、颜色和尺寸等,进行购物的对话。
【重难点】
1. 能听懂关于购物的对话,并从中获取主要信息;能听懂特殊疑问句,并且准确地理解其含义。
2. 能运用特殊疑问句进行购物的对话。
【教学方法】

A tape recorder, multimedia and some pictures
【教学过程】
Step 1 Warming up
1. 课前让课代表用点读笔点读单词,学生跟读3遍,纠正单词读音。
2. Play a game called “it’s me”.
(设计意图:通过课前朗读和游戏热身,使学生迅速进入英语学习状态,并导入本节课的“购物”话题。)
Step 2 Speaking before listening
1.教师展示本节课的教学目标。
2.图片结合情景教学词汇、句型。
教师询问母亲节的日期,告诉学生母亲节自己要给妈妈买的礼物,引出本节课的有关购物的单词、短语和句型。
T: I want to tell you a piece of news, class. I’m going to buy something for my mother
because Mother’s Day is coming. Do you know Mother’s Day? When is it?
Ss: Yes. It’s on the second Sunday of May.
T: So it’s on May 10th this year. Do you want to know what I am going to buy for my mother?
Ss: Yes.
T: First of all, I want to buy a T-shirt for my mother. (引出并教授单词T-shirt)Where
can I buy a T-shirt?
Ss: In a supermarket. (引出并教授单词supermarket)
T: Yes, and please look at the picture, this is Yi baijia supermarket. At the weekend,
there’s a sale. The price of the clothes is very low. (引出并教授单词sale, price)
I want to buy a T-shirt for my mother. But here is a problem. What size does my mother
take? So I need to try it on. (引出并教授短语try on和句型What size does my mother take?)
I can buy a T-shirt in a supermarket. But I don’t want to buy it in a supermarket. Where
else can I buy a T-shirt?
Ss: In a clothes shop. (引出并教授单词clothes shop)
T: Yes, and in a clothes shop, we can buy many kinds of clothes, such as T-shirts, trousers,
dresses and so on, right?
Ss: Yes.
T: Then I want to buy some food too. I will go to buy some biscuits and sausages. (引出并教授单词biscuits, sausages)
Finally, I am going to buy some fruit. I am going to buy some lemons and strawberries.
(引出并教授单词lemons, strawberries)
Where can I buy them?
Ss: In a supermarket.
T: Where else can I buy them ?
Ss: In a Market. (引出并教授单词Market)
(设计意图:通过图片结合情景教学词汇、句型,激发学生的学习兴趣,锻炼学生用英语思维的能力。)
3. Free talk
教师接着询问学生母亲节想为妈妈买什么,并问学生想知道Betty和Ling ling要为妈妈做什么,自然过渡到听力上。
Step 3 Listening
1. Listen to activity 2 and answer the questions.(小听力)
(1)What is Lingling going to buy for her mother?
(2)What is Betty going to make for her mother?
(设计意图:训练学生对主旨大意的理解能力)
2. Listen to activity 3 and choose T (True) or F (False).(大听力)

( ) 4. Lingling wants five lemons.
(设计意图:训练学生对事实细节的辨认能力)
3. Listen again and fill in the blanks.(将玲玲在商店里和市场上购物分两段听)

L: I’d like to buy a T-shirt for my mum.
S: ____ ____ does she like?
L: Purple.
S: All right. ____ ____ does she take?

L: Look at the price. It’s 198 yuan. That’s too much.

4. Listen to activity 3 for another time and complete the table.
(设计意图:通过用点读笔播放听力,让学生填空和完成表格,训练对本节课重点句型的掌握。)
Step 4 Reading after listening
1. Read and discuss.
让学生以小组为单位朗读课文,讨论并找出购物中售货员和顾客的常用句型,先以小组为单位展示,教师再加以总结。
2. Play the roles of the dialogue and act it out
让学生以四人(shop worker、Lingling、Betty、Market worker)为一组分角色朗读课文,先在小组内练习,再找小组在全班同学面前展示,评选出表演最好的小组,并计入小组量化。
Step 5 Speaking after reading
母亲节即将来临,假如你有一些钱,要给妈妈买礼物,以小组为单位设计一个购物场景表演对话。可以是在服装店,可以是在水果店,也可以是在超市等,可以用老师或自己准备的实物,也可以虚拟购物。
先在小组内练习,再找小组在全班同学面前展示,评选出表演最好的小组,并计入小组量化。(练习时可给学生提供句型提示)

Let Ss make a summary about what they have learned this class.
Step 7 Prizes for the winners team
让小组长总结本节课的小组得分,教师评选出获胜小组,并进行奖励。
Step 8 Homework.
Make up a dialogue about shopping with your partners after class and write it down in
your notebook.
