II. Teaching materials analyzing and rearranging 教材分析和重组
1. 教材分析
本单元以The neighborhood为话题,共设计了三个部分的内容。旨在通过单元教学使学生学会询问街道上某一场所的位置、为他人指明去某一场所的路线、阐述某一场所各个建筑物之间的位置关系和利用地图向他人介绍自己所居住的社区的方法。 Section A 部分共设计了9个任务型活动。1a要求学生把所给词汇与图片中的地名搭配起来,学习常见的表示地名的词汇;1b要求学生通过听小对话进一步学习这些词汇;1c要求学生在教师指导下,以pairwork的方式口头练习“问路与指路”的句型;2a要求学生把图片与相应的句子搭配起来,并将句子的序号填在相应的空白处。意在学习描述各个建筑物之间的位置关系;2b要求学生听取录音信息,并用表格中表示位置关系的词汇填空,完成几个描述位置关系的句子;2c要求学生就1 a中所列地点展开对话,练习“询问及指点街道上某一场所位置”的句型;3a要求学生阅读对话,利用对话中所提供的信息来确认Paul与Nancy在图片中的位置;3b要求学生运用上一活动中所提供的图片信息完成对话;4要求学生以游戏活动形式轮流选择一个地名,然后通过提问的方式猜测地名。
Section B部分共设计了9个任务型活动。1a要求学生把建筑物图片与相应描述语搭配起来,进一步学习空间位置的描述法;1b要求学生互相询问并描述同伴居住地的空间位置;2a要求学生听录音后圈出自己所听到的活动1a中的地点;2b要求学生根据录音信息画一幅地图,显示Michael家的周边位置情况;2c要求学生以两人活动的形式描述上一活动中自己所作地图中的位置信息并判断对方说法的正误;3a要求学生阅读旅游指南,并圈注出短文中的描绘性词语;3b要求学生根据图片中信息填空完成一份旅游指南;4a要求学生写一份旅游指南,介绍自己家的周边情况;4b要求学生向自己的同伴介绍自己的居住地点, 并要求对方根据介绍画图表示。
Self Check部分共设计了3项任务。1要求学生辨认并复习所学词汇知识;2要求学生在规定时间内写出五个词汇;3要求学生阅读一封电子邮件, 并根据邮件内容画出从机场到Michael家的路线图。
Grammar Focus部分重点学习如何询问以及指点位置的表达法。
