Reading 1

You may feel comfortable with some people. You spend an hour

with them and feel as if you have known them half a life. These people

have something in common. And once we know what it is, we can try

to do it our selves.

How is it done? 1. If you follow the skills, you’ll make

friends with people quickly.

First of all, good talkers ask questions. 2. One

well-known business woman says, “At business lunches, I always ask

to. And to find out, you really have to listen carefully and attentively.

also means not just listening to words, but to tones(语气) of voice. If

the voice sounds boring, then, it’s time for you to change the subject.

Finally, good talkers know well when to say good-bye. Remember to

give him a handshake and say, “ I’ve really enjoyed

but he said it was a wonderful experience for him.

At the age of 4, he started learning golf from his father. Many

hurry, ” he said to the USA Today.

Guan makes the world know him not only with his game, but

with his English as well. He answered the reporters’ questions with his

perfect English. In fact, English is just one of his favorite subjects. He

also likes maths and history very much. At school, Guan is just like

any other boy of his age. He goes to regular classes. He enjoys

basketball and Kobe Bryrant is his favorite basketball player. He is

always trying to get good grades and find time to practice playing

of things to learn to improve. So nothing to rush.”

One day, a rich father took his young son on a trip to the

countryside. He wanted to show him how poor the villagers were and

in a poor family in the village.

On their return from the trip ,the father asked his son, “How was

the trip?”

“ It was great, Dad.”

“Did you see how poor people could be?” the father asked.

After thinking for a while, the son answered, “I saw that we have

a dog ,while they have four. We have a pool in the garden. And they

have a small river without an end. At night, We have small lights in

the garden, but they have the stars in the sky. We buy our food, but

they grow theirs. We have walls around to keep us safe but they have

friends.”
