This curriculum content is mainly constitute by five parts: basic principles of microbial and fermentation engineering, down stream processing of microbial and fermentation engineering, production equipments of microbial and fermentation engineering, production technology of microbial and fermentation engineering, some product examples. The main contents are as follows: feature and culture breeding of strains, features and selection of medium, control of fermentation process, pollution control, product purification process control and unit operation. This curriculum would lay a foundation for biotechnology application.
