一. 完全倒装

1. here, there : 例： Here comes the bus. 注意： Here he comes.

表存在 There be/ live/ exist/ remain/ lie/ stand There lies a temple on the top of the hill.

表位移、变化 There come/ go/ rise/ enter/ follow

表似乎、碰巧 There seem/ appear/ happen/ used to be

2. 位移副词：up, down, in out, away 例：Away went the teacher. 注意： Away he went.（主语是代词时部分倒装）

3. 地点状语放于句首。 The river runs North of the city. » North of the city runs the river.

A sick child lay on the bed. » On the bed lay a sick child.

二. 部分倒装

L 否定词于句首:nevei; little, seldom, rarely, hardly, scarcely, not, no longer, not often, nowhere, etc.

I seldom went to work late. » Seldom did I go to work late. / He didn't say a single word. » Not a single word did he say.

（决不）by no means, in no way/ case, under no circumstances, at no time,on no condition/account

Teaching can by no means be separated from practice. » By no means can teaching be separated from practice.

China will at no time be the first to use nuclear weapon. » At no time will China be the first to use nuclear weapons.

Not until..., do/ does/ did/... + S + V …（主句）

I didn't know the news until yesterday. » Not until yesterday did I know the news.

I didn't realize how much time I had wasted until I began to work. » Not until I began to work, did I realize how much time I had wasted.

Hardly …when … / Scarcely …when •••/No sooner ............. than / as soon as

Hardly had I got to the bus stop when the bus started- No sooner had I got to the bus stop than the bus started.

Not only... （but） also

Not only does he put his heart into study , but

he is also helpful both to teachers and students.

Not only does he study hard,but he is also handsome.

Neithemor

一Sam can't see the paintings clearly from here. / 一Neither can L=Me neither.=I can't see the paintings clearly from here, either.

Neither was the price satisfactory,nor did the color agree with me. / Sam neither has long hair,nor does he wear jeans. Neither does

2. So + a./ad・ + 助动词 + S + do + that-clause

He is so honest that everyone likes him. » So honest is he that everyone likes him.

So much did she worry about her child that she couldn't go to sleep.

Such + n・ + 助动词 + S + do + that-clause 注意 So do I. Neither/ Nor do I.

Such a noise was there in the room that I couldn't go on with my work.

3. Only +状语从句/副词短语 … 于句首/注意Only Wang knows this.（主语提前不倒装）

Only then did I realize the importance of English. Only in this way can we get over so many difficulties.

He was able to get back home only when the war was over. » Only when the war was over, was he able to get back home. 4. 频度副词：often, always, once （in a while）, many a time, now and then, every other day, etc.

He has given us good advice many a time. » Many a time has he given us good advice.

He came and saw me once a week while I was in hospital. »Once a week did he come and see me while I was in hospital.

5. 虚拟 were, should, had

If I were in your position, I would go. » Were I in your position, ...

If I had been there, I would have lent a hand. » Had I been there,…

6. as, though （although不能倒，as必须倒，而though可倒可不倒。）

一、 名词+as / though+主语+动词 King as he was, he was unhappy. Strong man as [though] he is, he can't carry the big stone.

二、 形容词+as / though+主语+动i司 Successful as he is, he is not proud. Improbable as it seems, it's true.

三、 副词+as / though+主语+动词 Much as I like Paris, I couldn't live there. Fast as you read, you can't finish the book in two days. 四、 动词原形+as / though+主语+动词 Lose money as I did, we got a lot of experience.

五、 分词+as / though+主语+动拓1 Raining hard as it is, I'm going out.

Surrounded as we were by the enemy, we managed to march forward.

注意 1 ： Child as/ though he is, he does a lot of the housework.（去冠词）

注意2：上面提到的倒装结构有时也可用来表示原因Tired as he was, he went to bed early,因为很累，所以他睡得很早。（表原因） 注意 3：美国英语中，常用 as…as 引导让步状语从句。Cold as it was, we went out.=As cold as it was, we went out.

表语前置 Present at the meeting were Professor Whiter and many other guests. / Gone are the days when ...的日子一去不复返了。

英语的基本句型是主语 + 谓语。如果将主语与谓语调换, 称倒装句。倒装句分全倒装句和半倒装句。

一、 全倒装: 主语与谓语交换位置不需任何助动词, 叫全倒装。全倒装有以下三种

情况:

1、当here, there, out, in, up, down等副词放在句首时, 句子需全倒装:

There goes the bell! 铃响了！

There lived an old man.

Here comes the bus.

注意:

①在这种情况下倒装仅限于不及物动词或be动词, 像go, come, mush等。

②主语如果是代词时不需倒装如Away he went. 他走远了。

2、方位状语在句首, 如:

In front of the house stopped a police car.

Nearby were two canoes in which they had come to the island.

Under the tree sat a boy.

3 、直接引语在句首, 这种情况可倒装也可不倒装

"What does it mean?" asked the boy或the boy asked.

二、半倒装: 主语与谓语的助动词交换位置称半倒装, 有以下数种情况:

1、 否定意义的词在句首, 句子半倒装, 例如: little, never, not, no, hardly, rarely,

seldom

Never shall I forget you.

At no time was the man aware of what was happening.

Little did I understand what he said to me at that time.

2、 几对并列连词如not only…but also, hardly… when等连接两个并列句, 连词 用心 爱心 专心 在句首, 前句半倒装, 后句不倒装:

1 倒装句讲解与练习

一、什么是倒装句？

英语的基本句型是：主语 + 谓语。如果将主语与谓语调换, 则称为倒装句。

倒装句分为：完全倒装句和半倒装句。

二、倒装句的用法

（一）完全倒装: 主语与谓语交换位置不需任何助动词, 叫全倒装。全倒装有以下二种情况：

专题一 ：定 语 从 句

一、关系代词引导的定语从句

1、that 指人或物在从句中作主语，宾语或表语

which指物在从句中作主语，宾语或表语(作宾语时可以省略)

who指人在从句中作主语，宾语或表语

whom指人在从句中作宾语

whose指人或物在从句中作定语

as指人或物在从句中作主语，宾语或表语

but指人或物在从句中作主语，宾语或表语

注意：指物时，whose+名词=the+名词+of which或 of which+the+名词

2、as 的用法

(1)常用于下列结构：such…as; so…as;the same…as; as…as

注意：the same…as 表示同一类，不同一个

the same…that 表示同一个

(2)as与which的区别

a、位置不同

as可放在主句后，主句前或主句中间;which只能放在主句后。

b、as起连接作用，表达说话人的观点、看法，并指出主句内容的根据或出处，意为“正如，正像”。

Which相当于并列句，可以用and this来代替，意为“这一点，这件事’”。

注意：as常用于下列结构：as we know/ as is known to all, as we all

can see, as has been said before/above, as might be excepted, as is often the case, 一般不能用which代替as。

c、在从句中作主语时，which既可作系动词be的主语也可作实义动词的主语，而as只可作系动词be的主语。

二、只用that不用which的情况

1、.先行词为 all , much, everything, nothing , something ,anything,

nothing, none, the one等不定代词时

2、先行词被only, any, few, little, no , all, just , very ,right等修饰时.

1 初中英语倒装句

(一)倒装句的意义

1、适应一定的语法结构的需要，主要是指疑问句句型结构的需要。

E.g. Was the People’s Liberation Army founded in 1927?

2、为了强调某一部分，而把这部分放到句首，构成倒装。

e.g. Never have I been late for school this term.

(二)倒装的使用情况

一、部分倒装：就是把谓语中的be动词、助动词或情态动词置于主语前面。常见于下列几种情况：

(一). only所修饰的副词，介词短语或状语从句放在句首时，要用：only+ 状语+ be /助动词/情态动词+主语及其他

例如：Only when he told me the news did I know what had happened.

注意：only修饰主语时，不需要倒装。例如：Among all the people, only you know the truth.

小试牛刀： Only in this way ________to make improvement in the operating system.

A. you can hope B. you did hope C. can you hope D. did you hope

(二).含有否定意义的副词或连词放在句首时。如：never, little, seldom, not, not only, not until, no sooner (…than),

hardly (…when), rarely, scarcely, in no way等。

例如：We seldom get up at four in the morning.= Seldom do we get up at four in the morning.
