DescriptionAgilent’s ABA-51563 is aneconomical, easy-to-use, inter-nally 50-ohm matched siliconmonolithic broadband amplifierthat offers excellent gain and flatbroadband response from DC to3.5GHz. Packaged in an ultra-miniature industry-standardSOT-363 package, it requires halfthe board space of a SOT-143package.At 2GHz, the ABA-51563 offers asmall-signal gain of 21.5dB,output P1dB of 1.8dBm and11.4dBm output third orderintercept point. It is suitable foruse as buffer amplifiers forwideband applications. They aredesigned for low cost gain blocksin cellular applications, DBStuners, LNB and other wirelesscommunications systems.ABA-51563 is fabricated usingAgilent’s HP25 silicon bipolarprocess, which employs a double-diffused single polysiliconprocess with self-aligned submi-cron emitter geometry. Theprocess is capable of simulta-neous high fT and high NPNbreakdown (25GHz fT at 6VBVCEO).
