2、积极参与到教学的各个环节和活动中去，培养学生的合作精神，感受到学习英语的乐趣。

重点难点：1、掌握8个新单词;2、学会如何介绍自己的朋友教具准备：教具、单词卡片、面罩、照片教学目标：1、掌握和运用 fat、thin、short、tall四个单词。

lovely、funny、cool、pretty这四个单词要求学生能听懂，部分优等生能掌握;2、运用所学句型She’s/He’s…。

及今天所学的单词来介绍自己的朋友，并学会与他人交流。

围绕这一教学目标，在教授单词的过程中，我设计了以下思路1、输入新内容，即呈现8个新单词;2、听音并感知。

在这一过程中，我将让学生通过听音、做动作、表演等形式感知单词;3、模仿学说。

即通过各种形式认读单词，并用大量的活动去巩固;4、通过学习，使学生能够仿照课文中的句子进行交际，实际运用到生活中去。

在本节课中，我将通过使用一些实物和教具来模拟出真实的语言环境，让学生去介绍身边的同学、利用照片去介绍自己的朋友。

在交际的过程中让学生学会运用。

教学过程：一、组织教学1、师生交谈：Hello, what’s your name ?2、齐唱歌曲：What’s your name ?(你叫什么名字?)【教师通过和学生打招呼、问姓名，拉近了师生之间的距离;通过英语歌曲的演唱，创设出浓郁的英语学习氛围。

Unit 2 Lesson 2 It’s a Tiger教学目标1．能在插图的帮助下理解并朗读故事；2．能运用句型It is a…It’s not a…指认或介绍动物；教学重点1．理解并正确朗读故事；2. 指认、说出动物的名称a cow，a panda，a tiger，a cat，a deer，a horse，a dog。

教学难点初步运用所学句型说出动物名称。

教具准备l．人物面具，配套光盘，自制课件。

教学建议Get Ready1．复习故事（1）复习第一课的故事。

全班分成五组，分别扮演Uncle Booky，Mocky，Ann，Ken…… (2) 教师播放故事课件，不显示人物对话的文字。

（3）学生看课件给故事配音。

2．猜人物（1）教师出示．Mocky，Danny，Lulu的图片，遮住图片的一部分，让学生观察并猜测。

（2）引导学生分别看图，进行猜测。

T：Look! Who’s this? Guess．S：This is…Listen and Read1．导入故事教师用PPT分别出示老虎和豹子的尾巴，让学生用It’s a…猜测。

然后播放动画课件。

T：What animal is it? Guess 12．学习故事(1)教师呈现插图6，引导学生观察，猜一猜Mocky带着Ken和Ann去找哪个小朋友。

T：Mocky wants to show Ken and Ann another friend．Who is it?引导学生运用所学语言进行猜测，并结合插图体会、理解Come on!的意思。

(2)用课件出示图7，问学生Mocky看到了什么，并猜一猜这是不是Lulu.T：Who is this? Is it Lulu?(3)引导学生观察图8和图9，注意Mocky的表情变化，问学生这个动物是不是Lulu .可以让学生模仿Mocky的语音语调表演Oh，no! It’s not Lulu!体会Mocky 认错人的情况。
