These parts become hot. BREATHING AIR PRECAUTIONNorthStar air compressors are not designed, intended or approved for breathing air. Compressed air should not be used for breathing air applications unless treated in accordance with all applicable codes and regulations.Before signing the delivery receipt, inspect for damage and missing parts. If damage or missing parts are apparent, make the appropriate notation on the delivery receipt, then sign the receipt. Immediately contact the carrier for an inspection. All material must be held in the receiving location for the carrier’s inspection. Delivery receipts that have been signed without a notation of damage or missing parts are considered to be delivered “clear” Subsequent claims are then considered to be concealed damage claims. Settle damage claims directly with the transportation company. If you discover damage after receiving the air compressor (concealed damage), the carrier must be notified within 15 day of receipt and an inspection must requested by telephone with confirmation in writing. On concealed damage claims, the burden of establishing that the compressor was damaged in transit reverts back to the claimant.Read the compressor nameplate to verify it is the model ordered, and read the motor nameplate to verify it is compatible with your electrical conditions. On/Off Switch - Make sure switch is at “ON” position when starting engine (Model 8.3 PC has a kill switch).3.) Compressor Air Filter - Make sure your air filter is clean and particle free. See pump exploded view for replacement filter part number.4.) Belt Guard - Covers the belt, motor pulley and flywheel. NEVER operate compressor without belt guard.6.) Lifting Eyes - Also use as tie down locations.7.) Ball Valve - 3/8” NPT.9.) Unloader - Lift knob to relieve pressure when starting the engine.10.) Pneumatic Tires - Keep tire pressure at 20 psi for easy movement.11.) Pressure Gauge - Easy to read liquid filled gauge.12.) ASME Safety Valve - This valve automatically releases air if the tank pressure exceeds the preset maximum.13.) Discharge Tube - This tube carries Array compressed air from the pump to the check valve. This tube becomes very hot during use. To avoid the risk of severe burns, never touch the discharge tube.14.) (1)记下附于气压计上的温度计读数。
(2)旋动气压计下方的调节汞面螺丝,使槽内汞面恰好与象牙针尖端相接触。
黄铜瞥上的刻度读数就是以象牙针尖端作为零点开始读数。
(3)转动旋转钮4,使游标尺上升到略高于玻璃管内汞柱顶端,然后再反向缓缓转动旋钮.使游标尺下降到观察者视线.游标尺下沿(即0度标线),汞柱顶端凸面的最高点和游标尺背后沿处于同一水平线上,此时即可读数。
(4)读数方法:按游标尺零点所对黄铜标尺刻度读出大气压的毫米整数部分,小数部分用游标尺来决定,即从游标尺上找一根正好与黄铜尺上某一刻度相吻合的刻度线的数值就是毫米后小数部分读数。
如图7-5所示,应该读为763.4mmHg。
有些气压计的单位为hPa(百帕),请注意!
按以上操作调节游标尺位置,再次读数,进行核对。

2.气压计软件“多功能气压计”的使用2.1. 软件“多功能气压计”的介绍软件“多功能气压计”是一款与多功能气压计配合使用的智能控制软件,可以让你的手机成为一个智能终端。
请到我们网站下载最新版的“多功能气压计”软件或者通过软件本身的升级功能更新软件。
2.2. 软件“多功能气压计”的安装点击运行软件安装包,把软件“多功能气压计”安装到手机上。
2.3. 启动软件在应用程序列表中,点击图标运行软件。
如果手机蓝牙设备未打开则会弹出一个请求打开蓝牙设备的对话框。
选择是,打开蓝牙设备。
首次运行软件会弹出搜索设备的对话框点击搜索设备,新设备列表中会列出搜索到的设备图中搜索到的Barometer的MAC地址为00:11:11:18:02:00。
不同设备的MAC地址都不相同。
当只时搜索到一个设备时,软件会自动与该设备配对连接。
如果搜索到多个设备会在列表中列出,点击其中一个多功能气压计进行连接,第一次连接软件自动输入密码1999完成配对。
连接气压计成功后,若气压计里有数据,会弹出提示框是否读取数据,选择读取后(读取后的数据可在查看记录里查看,气压计所保存的数据的经纬度默认为0),弹出提示框是否删除气压计的数据,点击删除后,气压计里的数据便被全部清空。
软件在未连接上气压计(图一)和连接上气压计的界面(图二)如图所示图一图二连接上气压计后的主界面所显示的天气为根据当前气压值的变化对未来24小时天气的预测,温度为气压计外壳的温度,即如果用手握着气压计,则所显示的温度接近于手掌的温度。
2.4. 重新连接蓝牙当蓝牙断开后需要重新连接或需要连接另一个气压计时,按菜单键→连接蓝牙,在弹出的搜索设备对话框中进行搜索和连接设备,已配对的设备也可以在已配对设备列表中选择设备进行连接。
点击搜索设备,新设备列表中会列出搜索到的设备在已配对设备列表中选择设备进行连接图中搜索到的Barometer的MAC地址为00:11:11:18:02:00。
不同设备的MAC地址都不相同。
如果搜索到多个设备也会在列表中列出。
点击其中一个气压计进行连接。
连接设备时会弹出蓝牙配对请求对话框(有的手机在屏幕顶部的通知栏里显示此消息,需要在通知栏里点击打开此消息,通知栏的打开与关闭操作参考后面的温馨提示),输入多功能气压计的配对密码(出厂默认为1999)进行连接。
连接成功后,便可使用与气压相关的各个功能。
温馨提示:打开通知栏:点击通知栏并往下拖动,抽屉式的把通知栏拉出来。
关闭通知栏:点击已打开的通知栏底部的控制栏并往上拖动,抽屉式的把通知栏推回去。
2.5. 修改多功能气压计的蓝牙配对密码按菜单键→修改密码。
输入4位新密码。
再次输入4位新密码。
点击修改。
显示“密码修改完成”。
退出软件——在蓝牙设备界面取消配对——重启气压计,重新打开软件连接蓝牙——输入新密码2.6. GPS功能的开启和关闭设置按菜单键→GPS。
点击使用GPS卫星,打开或关闭GPS。
2.7. 主界面功能的使用2.7.1.气压,指南针功能点击进入气压,指南针功能子页面,可查看当前方位、气压、温度、海拔、时间、经纬度。
该功能显示的气压为当前大气压的气压值;温度为主界面所显示的温度;当海拔小于或等于0时,海拔值显示为0,大于0时,显示当前的海拔高度;时间为手机系统当前的时间日期;当开启经纬度(点击开启按键,确认打开GPS功能)时,经纬度为当前所在的经纬度。
2.7.2.登山功能点击进入登山功能子页面,如图所示登山高度:可较为精确的测量你所攀登或走下的相对海拔高度GPS测距:通过手机GPS测量当前的经纬度、你所走过的实际距离、直线距离和速度查看记录:可查看手机所保存的气压计数据点击进入子功能界面时,可通过左右滑动切换界面或通过返回键退出当前界面重新选择功能。
如图所示该界面为第一个界面,在其后面还有2个界面,通过向左滑动可切换到第二、第三界面。
表示隐藏在本界面的界面数,靠近左端,则表示在本界面的左端隐藏了界面,向右滑动即可打开该界面。
靠近右边则相反。
2.7.2.1.登山高度点击进入登山高度功能界面,可查看当前海拔高度、未设置起点高度时,登山高度和起点高度均为0,等待3分钟左右气压较稳定时,点击记录起点高度,起点高度值便为当前海拔高度。
登上或走下一定距离时,同样等待3分钟左右气压较稳定时,登山高度的值便为你所攀登的海拔高度(相对海拔高度,值为正)或你所走下的海拔高度(相对海拔高度,值为负)。
当你知道当地的海拔时,可通过菜单键→校正海拔功能来校正当前海拔,校正海拔后,海拔高度即为你所输入的校正海拔高度,亦可通过菜单键→清除校正海拔功能来清除校正海拔。
温馨提示:在反复测量同一高度时,每次测量前请先清除起点高度再记录起点高度,这样所测量出来的数据误差就不会很大。
例如:你想测量一下一座山的高度,在山下的时候点击一下记录起点高度,到达山上后,等待数据较为稳定时,此时的登山高度便是这座山的高度,当你想再次测量时,先清除起点高度,再点击记录起点高度,这样所测量的结果相差便会在1m内,不然,两个结果有可能会相差10m或10m以上。
2.7.2.2.GPS测距点击进入GPS测距功能界面,点击开始,等待连接GPS成功后,得到的数据便为当前的经纬度,同时显示该手机GPS当前的测距误差(直线距离)。
向前走一段距离后,手机便会显示出你所走过的实际距离,直线距离和你所行走的速度。
当GPS测距开始时,滑动切换界面或按返回键时软件会弹出退出提示框,当点击确认时,退出GPS测距功能,跳到相应的功能界面(按返回键,进入登山功能界面;向右滑动进入登山高度功能,向左滑动进入查看记录功能)。
温馨提示:根据不同的手机,GPS连接时间会不同,一般在较为空旷的户外需要等待3分钟左右。
而且不同的手机,所得到的实际距离、直线距离、速度也会有一定的差别。
该功能只适用于较长距离(500m以上)的测距,用于短距离测距时,会有比较大的误差。
2.7.2.3.查看记录点击进入查看记录功能界面,即可查看手机所保存的气压计数据(当前数据为手机保存的最新数据)。
点击查看波形图可查看当前数据的波形图,横坐标为时间,纵坐标为气压、温度、海拔点击下拉框,可选择查看其他日期保存的数据。
长按下拉框可进行删除当日保存的数据的操作。
