Unit 6 Lesson 1 - My Daily Routine

In this lesson, we will learn about daily routines and use simple

present tense to talk about our activities. We will also practice

forming questions and giving short answers.

Key Vocabulary:

- wake up

- get up

- brush my teeth

- have breakfast

- have lunch

- have dinner

- go to bed

Conversation Practice:

Teacher: Good morning, class. How are you today?

Students: Good morning, teacher. We are fine, thank you.

Teacher: Great! Now, let's talk about our daily routines. Who

wants to start?

Student 1: I wake up at 7:00 in the morning.

Teacher: That's good. What do you do after you wake up?

Student 1: I get up, wash my face, and brush my teeth.

Teacher: Wonderful. And what do you do next?

Student 1: I have breakfast with my family. Teacher: Excellent. Who would like to share their morning routine?

Student 2: I wake up at 6:30 and go to school at 7:30.

Teacher: Very good. What do you do during your school day?

Student 2: I have classes, play with my friends during recess, and

have lunch at the school cafeteria.

Teacher: Fantastic. Anyone else wants to share their daily routine?

Question & Answer Practice:

Teacher: Now, let's practice asking questions. Student 3, what time

do you go to bed?

Student 3: I go to bed at 9:00 in the evening.

Teacher: Good. Student 4, when do you do your homework?

Student 4: I do my homework after school.

Teacher: Well done. Student 5, when do you play sports?

Student 5: I play sports in the afternoon, after my homework.

Teacher: Wonderful job, everyone. Keep up the good work!

Writing Activity:

Now, it's time for you to write about your own daily routine. Start

by writing the time you wake up and go to bed. Then, describe

each activity you do throughout the day. Use the vocabulary we

learned in this lesson and remember to use simple present tense.

Finally, don't forget to share your routine with the class.

Example:

I wake up at 7:00 in the morning. After waking up, I get up, wash

my face, and brush my teeth. Then, I have breakfast with my

family. After that, I go to school and have classes until the

afternoon. During recess, I play sports with my friends. After

finishing my classes, I go home and do my homework. Then, I have dinner with my family. Finally, I go to bed at 9:00 in the

evening.

Remember to use proper punctuation and capitalization in your

writing. Enjoy sharing about your daily routine with your

classmates!

（注：句子开头的第一个字母要大写,句末要加标点，单词与单词之间要有间距。）

词汇认知:

my我的----your你的 name名字 is/am是 what’s=what is “是什么”

Lesson 2:第二课

1. 询问男生姓名及回答：

-What’s his name? “他叫什么名字？”

-His name is Li Ming. “他叫李明。”

2. 询问女生姓名及回答： -What’s her name? “她叫什么名字？”

-Her name is Jenny. “她叫詹妮。”

3. 介绍某人或某物

This is + a + 人/物 “这是一个......。”

例：This is a pen. This is a girl.

词汇认知:

boy 男孩--- girl 女孩

teacher 老师 his 他的--- her 她的

this 这 this is 这是 a 一个

Lesson 3:第三课

1. 询问对方的近况及回答：

教学目标： 复习学习句型“Where are you from? I’m from …./ This is my friend, …(名字)”，学会介绍别人及询问国籍。提升学生的听力能力，掌握听力的的一般方法。

方法： 通过角色扮演以及听力中的情景对话帮助学生巩固句型。

教学重点与难点： 句型“Where are you from? I’m from …./ This is my friend, …(名字)”在真实情景中的应用。

教学过程：

１．Warm-up/Revision

2．Presentation

通过复习let’s chant，介绍一下let’s chant 中的人物，引出start to read,看他们如何介绍的。让学生分别扮演其中的人物，让学生有参与感，更快的掌握之前所学的句型在情景中的使用。鼓励学生介绍他父母及父母的职业。

3．Practice 通过let’s check 听力多次播放，检查学生是否能听明白所学句型，以及对应听力中的图片，并尽可能让学生复述所听内容，提升听力能力。

4．Assessment

内容：做能力培养与测试第10-11页内容。

目标：检查学生掌握生词及句型情况。
