孩子们不会说英语，只会说一点法语。
医生和护士用少得可怜的一点共同语言，结合大量的手势，努力向这些受惊吓的孩子们解释说，除非他们能输一些血给自己的小伙伴，否则她将必死无疑。
然后他们问孩子们是否有人愿意献血来救小女孩。

许多事实与经验证明，学生对某一课程的学习兴趣和动力，往往来自他们对该课程任课教师的感觉。
因此，任课教师在上第一堂课时就会给学生留下第一印象:你爱我们吗?你在用心教学吗?你“有料”吗?你是在马虎应付还是经过了认真准备?你是照本宣科还是创意无限?你的课是可上可不上的还是非上不可的?接下来学生的学习态度和行动将会证明:你的课堂是依靠强制性的纪律让人无可奈何参与的还是引人入胜让人积极投入的?你的课堂是让学生心不在焉的还是能让学生心往一处想劲儿往一处使的?像这类发人深省的问题还有很多。
