The second period（第二课时）Part A Let's learn & Let's chant内容分析本课是PEP小学英语三年级起点第一册Unit1第二课时。
主要学习“ruler，pencil，eraser，crayon”这四个文具类单词，以及“I have a/an...”的句型。

PEP英语三年级上册unit 3 Let's paint第三课时教学目标：1 本课时是通过学生认读的方法给小丑涂色，并复习头部的部位和颜色的名称。
2 学习本课时的有关颜色的歌曲。
教材分析：本课时包括Let's paint 和Let's sing 两部分。
Let's paint是给小丑涂色，主要复习头部的部位和颜色的名称。
Let's sing部分是一首巩固所学颜色的歌曲。
设计说明：在本课的Let's paint部分，是给小丑涂色，复习头部的部位和颜色的名称。
因此，教师在热身/复习环节，用学生熟悉的“Head Shoulders Knees And Toes”歌曲开始，既能集中学生的注意力，又能调动学生学习的积极性，更能复习表身体部位的单词。
在其后的涂色练习中，教师可根据学生情况，让学生在认读的基础上进行涂色。
如学生认读有困难，教师可适当带读，以便学生理解。
为了更好的复习头部的部位和颜色的单词，教师要多加游戏，让学生在玩中练，活动中复习。
可进行“比一比，说一说，画一画。
”“What's missing?”等游戏。
Let's sing部分是一首巩固所学颜色的歌曲。
教师可充分发挥学生的天分，让学生试唱，领唱等。
教学重点：复习头部的部位和颜色的名称和学习本课时的歌曲。

教学过程：热身、复习(Warm-up/Revision)（1）师生共唱歌曲："Head Shoulders Knees And Toes" 复习表身体部位的单词。
（2）教师把表示颜色和身体部位名称的图片拿在手中，举起其中之一很快在学生面前晃过并提问："What?" 学生根据卡片内容，说出单词head / red … 。

难点：明白得Act like a_____. panda, cat, rabbit三个单词中的字母a 都含有相同的音[æ] ，提示学生找一起点，使学生简单了解一些语音知识。
