2.能够听、说、读:what would you like as a birthday present? i’d like…, a vcd of japanese cartoons, let’s wait and see.3.初步能够用英语表达日期,谈论生日。
4.引导学生体会,了解英语国家人们过生日是的风俗习惯,培养学生跨文化交际能力。
教学重难点:1.教学重点: 四会birthday,date,when,october,august,as,when’s your birthday? 及其应答。
2.教学难点:日期的英语表达方式教学过程:导入设计:free talk:what day is it today? what’s the weather like today?通过一些简单的英语日常用语,使学生尽快进入学习状态。
what’s the date today?引出日期表达方式,进入新课呈现部分。
新课呈现分两部分:1.利用ppt课件,呈现本单元句型what date is it today?及其回答,使学生了解英文日期的两种表达方式。
接着通过音乐,图片,录像,flash动画等直观方式,使学生对12月份英文名称有一个初步的了解。
出示日历(calendar)引导学生自主找出表达日期的序数词的书写规律。
逐步启发学生读,写英文日期表达方式。
在学生掌握了以上规律之后,再做少许提示,让学生猜教师的生日日期,引出问题when’s your birthday? 及回答it’s on the …of…进行操练。
当然此环节生词较多,特别是月份的读法对于部分学生很难一下子掌握,考虑到本单元的b部分会集中巩固月份的名称与序数词的拼法,所以本课时此处设计仅要求学生理解即可。
