Women’s status has seen great changes in China and other parts of the world, especially Western countries. Due to the rapid economic development, lots of job opportunities have been created, thus placing a heavy demand on work force, which causes many women to take up a job outside the home. Thanks to the rise of women’s economic status, their social status and status at home have also improved. In many families, men and women form an equal partnership: both of them keep a job outside the family, and they share many household duties. The traditional family pattern of man working as the breadwinner and woman as the housekeeper has been shattered in many families today.

• Being healthy is a comprehensive matter. We can judge a healthy person from three different perspectives: physical health, mental health and interpersonal relationships. First of all, a healthy person is free from any illness and has enough energy to do his/her daily work. Second, he/she does not suffer from any mental problem and is strong enough to face challenges. Last but not least, he/she gets along well with people around him/her.
