Thoughts on the design:
本节课是以说和讨论为主的课。因为结合一定写和动手的任务,所以可以独立设置为一个课时。说的教学应利用多媒体、图片等方式激活学生与单元话题有关的已有知识,引导学生联系自己的亲身感受,讨论与电影相关的话题。生动的影片剪辑和熟悉的影视图片为该课时的语言学习设置了生动的语言情景,能有效地引起学生对话题的兴趣,调动学生开口说的积极性。
Teaching aims:
1. After searching the Internet, the students will be able to participate in a discussion about films
and film events;
2. After discussion, the students are able to talk about their favourite directors, actors and films;
3. By talking about the films and film events, the students‟ spoken English can be practised.
Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Lead-in
Play a short video “Da Vinci Code”. Then ask the following questions. (PPT4—7)
Have you seen the movie? Are you interested it? Why?
What is your favorite film? What is it about?
