Unit 6 The story of rain
一、基本教学理念
1．让学生成为学习的主体，养成良好的学习习惯和有效的学习策略。
2．创设生活化的情境，尽可能赋予语言意义。
让学生习得语言，在玩中学，在学中玩。
3．依据不同学生的特点，因材施教，调动学生的积极性，培养兴趣，符合其多元智能的发展。
二、设计思路以新课程为指导，教学活动力求以学生为主体，以话题为线索，以活动为中心，让学生通过做事，通过思考，通过合作来体验语言，体验生活，体验学习的过程与快乐，采用任务型教学，活动的形式与任务的驱动紧密结合，使学生在“用”中发展思维能力、创新意识和各种语言运用能力。
三、教材内容及目标分析
1．Content

1) 知识目标：
掌握课文单词和句子结构
掌握音标/ /与/ / 的长短区别
读懂文章water cycle 和painting ，并能依照图片或范文进行仿写和填空
2) 能力目标：
交流与合作日常生活常识的听说读写学习策略上学习归纳如何描述说明事物的过程“ First, then, next, and 或者first, sec ond, third,等等”
3) 情感目标：科学合理有效地安排生活中的事物顺序，能对过程及程序给出自己的
建议，学会仔细观察和科学有效利用时间。
通过对物质的几种形态变化的了解，培养学生的科学探究意识。
四、教学建议
按照A部分（水循环）、B部分（植物种植过程）设计如下内容

Step 2 Prese ntati on
1. 词汇导入：
1) 泉水叮咚：听各种水的声音，从情感上感受，猜猜是什么，引出water。
2) 歌谣接龙：Rai n, rai n, where are you going?
Going to the …(river, lake, sea, ocean, waterfall, stream)引丨出stream。
歌谣：
Rai n, rain, where are you going?
Going to the lake, going to the sea.
Going to the farm, going to the field.
Going to the river, going to the stream.
3) 浮想联翩：图片提示，表演操练：I'm the water in the…，I'm…让学生想象自己是各种状态下存在的水分子.引出vapor。
2. 经典提问：以“鸡生蛋，蛋生鸡”为例：问学生Egg, egg, where do you come from?再转而问鸡:Chicken, chicken, where do you come from? 引出come from 和comes . from。
Teacher draw a egg on the backboard and ask : Where does it come from ?
Ss : It comes from chicke n .
T : Where does the chicke n come from ?
Ss : It comes from egg .
3. 毛驴磨磨：以水循环water, rain, stream, cloud, vapor的形成为例，问其来历，通过简笔画的表述，形成一个循环。
Teach : rain ; cloud ; sun ; stream
4. 穷追不舍：
目的：把词汇结合在对话中，使其不为独立的个体，让学生感受真正的语言环境。
设问如下：What'in the stream?
What can you do in the stream?
Why? ----- Don '…in the stream.
Where can you see the vapor? What can vapor do?
2）联盟联想：
目的：培养思维的发散性能力。
如：读所给单词，你能想出多少个与它有关的单词？请写在箭头后，并说一说
1）学生写完后说的时候以句子形式出现，如The water is hot. It is vapor now. 2）可以将全班分组，进行小组比赛。
3）此活动也可以将单词改为句子进行。
句型：Where does it come from? It comes from…
