Without goodwill, the communication between people or companies will become awkward, and even worse, cause offense. Therefore, for translators, they must attach great importance to building goodwill when carrying out the translation activity. This paper aims to elaborate some methods and strategies of building goodwill in business translation from three aspects: (1) You-attitude;(2) Positive emphasis; (3) Bias-free language.Key Words: goodwill; you-attitude; positive emphasis; bias-free languageIntroduction: Goodwill smoothes the challenges of business and administration.
