四、教学准备1. 教师准备多媒体课件、B. Let’s learn课文情景动画或音频MP3。
2. 地图，表示各种地点的图片，课件，小喇叭，彩旗，蒙眼布等课堂小道具。
五、教学过程Step 1:Warm-up1. 教师发指令，学生做动作。
如: Turn left. (学生向左转) Turn right.(学生向右转)2. 教师出示一张本市区的平面图，引导学生根据图画内容进行问答。
如:T: Is there a cinema?Ss: Yes, there is.T: Where is the cinema?Ss: It’s next to the hospital.T: How can I get to the hospital?Ss: Turn right at the bookstore. Then turn left at the post office.教师引导学生根据路线编对话并进行演示。
Step 2：PresentationLet’s learn1. 教师展示Let’s learn部分的挂图，说：Look at the sign. We can see it in the crossing. 教师展示十字路口的图片，板书单词crossing，提醒学生在十字路口要注意交通安全。

教学内容：Unit One How can I get there? (B. Let's learn& Be a tour guide)教学内容分析：本课是PEP版本小学英语六年级上册第一单元B let’s learn & Be a tour guide部分。
B let’s learn部分主要学习的单词和词组是：crossing,turn left,go straight,turn right。
教材利用Mike问路的对话呈现以上单词及词组的词形和意义。
Be a tour guide部分主要用于操练B let’s le arn板块中的词汇，学生通过角色扮演，运用本单元的词汇句型指路并能简单介绍景点路线。
学情分析：六年级学生通过三年的英语学习，已经具备了一定的英语基础，通过前几课时所学的旧知，为本节课的学习做好铺垫。
本课时涉及的一部分单词也在以前的教学过程中有提到过，如left、right，在五年级下册时讲keep to the right(靠右)时就有过对学生方向感的操练，可以说这为突破新的教学起到以旧带新的作用，增强他们的自信心逐步引导学生熟练掌握。
因此，在设计本节课的时候，本人综合了问路和指路的语言知识，做到在情境中教学词汇和句型，词不离句，句不离词的原则。
教学目标：1．知识与能力：能够听懂、会说、认读、默写四个词汇：crossing, turn left, go straight, turn right。
能够正确使用句型"Where is the …?How can I get there?"，并在真实场景中运用所学语言进行真实的交流和运用。
能够基本学会帮人指路，培养学生的空间思维能力。
能够根据单词的音、义、形，拆分单词的方式来记忆词汇。
2．过程与方法：在教师的引导下，通过帮助Kate指路到达某些地方为本课活动链主线，让学生正确理解并掌握本课重点词汇及句型，做到词不离句，句不离词。
