建议他们通过展示图片和照片介绍相关的情况,可以使用句型“It’s a picture of.__It's very…”等。
(二)探究新知:1.将本课的挂图贴在黑板上,播放录音,呈现SB活动1,让学生看书,听听Daming 和Simon的对话,听完之后,让学生说一说:Who is Simon ? Where is Daming ? What are they doing ?2.让学生打开书,放录音,学生边听边看书,勾画出课文中的生词。

此课是新接触的新一册的第一课,需要学生掌握的知识教简单,is are 的用法以前也是有提及的,而且这个知识点在这册中也是贯穿了始终,是奠定基础的课文。
2,学好本文,能让学生学会讲述某个地方或某件事物的情况,掌握的重点句型,能贯穿于整册书的学习,这是最基本的知识点学情分析1. 本班有51名学生,总体来说基础较差,学生学习英语的兴趣较低,词汇积累量也不多。
2. 学生认知发展分析:这里是农村学校,学生来源由周围村的教点而来,有些学生是三四年级没有学过英语的,五年级刚来到这个学校就匆匆忙忙学英语,一学就觉得困难,现在很多对英语都不感兴趣,基础差。
需要让学生建立起学好英语的信心,这样对以后的教学才有帮助。

使用的学生为烟台六年级学生,因此在课的设计环节中,许多素材都来自烟台,目的就是从学生所了解的信息入手。
但这一册的主要语法知识都是学生已知的内容,因此本课的教学内容是对过去语法知识的复习,对于新的语言知识的学习。

三、教学重、难点:本课的重点即对于长城的了解;难点为在此基础之上了解自己所在城市的一些相关信息,能再学习的本课重点句型之后,进行提问以获取自己想要了解的信息。
四、教具学具:课本,单词卡片,明信片,课件,教学配套光盘。
