In the past, the transport (交通工具) was not convenient (方便的). People had to walk to the places where they wanted to go.

Later, bikes were invented (发明). They were fast and easy to ride,

so many people liked traveling by bike.

Nowadays (现在), there are many different kinds of transport,

like buses, cars, trains and planes. People can go to places nearby

by bus. Usually, one yuan is enough for a person. Some families

buy a car. It’s much more convenient but more expensive to

drive a car. When people go to a place far away, they usually take a plane. The plane is much faster and more comfortable than a
