Unit6 If you go to the party, you’ll have a great time!

SectionA (1a-2d)教学设计

一、课标解读:

本节课的课型为听说课,要求学生通过听力对信息进行语言输入后,能达到用正确的词汇和句型来解决问题完成语言输出和语言交流活动的目标。在学完本单元之后,学生将会正确运用第一条件If…will…句型,对未来事件进行假设和推断。

二、教材分析:

本单元谈论的话题是Party和Decision making。SectionA围绕派对(party)的话题展开,本节课为本单元Section A第一课时,课型为听说课。本部分集中呈现了有关假设或推论的词汇和语言结构的学习,并继续巩固be going to 和 will表达将来的用法。通过对班级聚会class party的讨论进行听说训练,要求学生听懂对话主旨大意及细节信息,并能够模仿输入的语言,围绕假设和推断,尝试做简单的语言输出。

三、教学目标

(一)知识目标

1. Help 90% of the students master these words and expressions:

video, organize, meeting, chocolate, potato chips, play games.

2. Help 90% of the students master new target language:

I think I’ll go to the party with Karen and Anna.

If you do, you’ll have a great time.

What will happen if they have the party tomorrow.

(二) 能力目标

1. Help 90% of the students will be able to talk about consequence.

2. Help 90% of the students to improve listening skill by listening for the main idea and key

words.

3.The students will learn what to do in the party and how to organize a party.

(三)情感态度与文化意识:

1. 由于本单元话题贴近学生生活,符合他们热爱休闲的心理,可以提高他们学习英语的兴趣,积极参与运用英语的实践活动。

2. 通过在“用中学英语”的评价活动让学生了解派对文化,学习因果关系的表达和做出合理的建议,渗透给学生为聚会准备食物要符合学生的购买能力,不一定要订餐,可以买些小零食或是自己做些食物。

四、重难点

Students can talk about consequence using “If… will…”.

五、教学方法

情景教学法,任务型教学法和小组竞争合作法。

七、评价设计:

1.教师的课堂语言评价。

2.利用controlled practice,semi-controlled practice, 讨论、交流展示活动等方式进行评价。

八、教学过程

Step 1 Greeting & warming up.

Good afternoon, boys and girls. Divide you into 4 groups and have a competition. Have a free talk

ahout the song in the video with students.

【设计意图】 播放有关party的歌曲视频,课前调动学生兴奋点、激发学生兴趣,给学生提供练习口语的机会,为新课的学习做好了铺垫。

Step2 Leading in

This weekend, we’ll have a party, what will you do? Ask the students to come to the blackbord

and write their ideas. (words or phrases)

Then ask ‘What will you do if you go to the party? ’

Answer by using ‘If I go to the party, I’ll.......’.

【设计意图】利用师生有目的的自由交际,自然导入新课, 解决了要学习的目标语言If...,...

will...,为下一步的学习扫除了语言上的障碍。

Step3 Match the statements with pictures(1a)

Show them the picture in the book. And

ask the students to match pictures with the activities.

After correcting the answers, ask the students to read the statements together.

【设计意图】订正答案时要求学生说出句,熟悉听力话题,为下面的听力扫清障碍。

Step4 Listening(1b)

‘If they do that, what will happen?’ Listen and fill in the blanks. Then check the answers together.

Ask the students to find out what ‘If I do’means?

Change the four sentences into another way. ‘If I wear jeans, the teacher won’t let you in.’

【设计意图】 通过听力让学生对于本课的基本句型“If… will…”有了一个初步感知,并且让他们自己从听力材料中感知“if you do…” 中的do的指代,并让学生做替换练习,为对话练习做好铺垫。

Step5 Read the listening materials and make conversations.

Ask them to choose one conversation they like to practice.

Then practice the conversation using the four pictures, not reading.

【设计意图】由于听力原文的交际性要比课本1c任务强,所以此环节我设计让学生同桌俩熟读听力原文,通过感知、体会、熟练运用听力文稿对话让学生更好的掌握所学的句型和更生活化的语言。要求学生脱离文本表演对话,训练学生英语思维,而非机械照搬。

Step6 Listening(2a and 2b )

Listen to the tape to finish 2a by answering what and when , teaching listening tip1 ‘ Listen to the

key words.’

Ask the students to predict the answers to the five questions before listening.

Then listen and check the students’ predictions.

Check the answers, telling the third listening tip ‘Take notes while listening. ’

Ask the students to read aloud followig the tape recorder. Pay attention to the pronunciation and

the intonation.

【设计意图】通过这次听力练习帮助学生进一步更好地掌握句型。并通过点拨训练学生的听力技巧听前预测、听中抓关键词、听中速记。

通过让学生跟读听力材料整体感知,一是为了模音,纠正发音和语调,二是让学生进一步整体感知这个听力材料,让学生熟悉如何讨论组织class party,为生成环节也作准备。

Step7 After-listening

Do a quick-answer game. If they win, I’ll give them some gifts.

【设计意图】通过这一活动对听力材料再次提问问题,目的是巩固目标语言‘What will happen

if ...?’,通过抢答游戏调动学生的学习积极性,希望一些成绩相对差一些的学生也能够很好的参与到活动中来。

Step8 Role-play (2d)

Read the conversation and answer the questions. What ahout food?What about games?

Discuss how to prepear the food for the party with the students.

【设计意图】与学生就2d材料来谈论如何准备食物和游戏,并倡导学生食物并不一定得定餐和购买。为下一环节的生成打好基础。 Step9 Production.(Discuss and report)

Make a birthday party plan every group. Ask them to work in groups to discuss a birthday party

plan. At last ask them to have a report. Tell them when one is having a report, the others must

listen carefully and then the teacher will ask some questions .

【设计意图】与第一环节的话题讨论前后呼应,运用小组内合作学习法,通过讨论培养了学生探究问题和自主解决问题的能力,培养了学生的团队精神并调动了学生学英语的积极性。

Step10 Homework
